Josh Chambers

"I know just the voice for my Violin"

0 · 2,921 views · located in Vocaloid world

a character in “What if you could adopt a Vocaloid?”, as played by Scorpion01

Description

Name: Josh Chambers

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Sexual orientation: Bi-sexual

Physical description:
Image

Personality: Calm, lazy, playful, polite, cuddly (and I mean cuddly. Seriously, he's always hugging someone or something in his spare time.)

Bio: As a boy, Josh wanted to be a whole bunch of different things, a fire-fighter, a police-man, an actor, and many other things. But his talent wasn't in any of those. His talent was in the violin. He played beautifully on the first day of his lessons. He was given his own violin the next year, and made his family name famous all over the world. Of course, he never saw a cent. His selfish family didn't even save some for him in the bank. They just spent it on themselves. So, Josh left them, moving to his new home where he performs his own shows on the streets and in theaters, making enough to life a comfortable life with a lot of money to spare. That's when he realized that his home seemed rather empty with only him in it. He had always wanted a little brother or someone that would keep him all the company he wanted.

He was one day asked if he wanted to perform in a concert with some of the more well known Vocaloids: Miku, Kaito, Meiko, Rin, len, Luka, and a few others. He played what was required so well that he was surprised when the Vocaloids themselves thanked him for playing so beautifully. The last one to thank him was Len. The bond grew from there.

What Vocaloid you want: Len Kagamine

Len was sitting on the porch of the Vocaloid household, playing a mini game on his PSP. Master has told Len that he would be meeting someone today, but when he asked his Master what for, he did not even bother to answer. Len shrugged and kicked up his feet on the small wooden coffee table in front of him. "Maybe it's just another fan wanting me to record for them... or someone who wants a autograph." Len thought to himself. "Let's just get this over with, then I can get back at Rin for pouring banana milk on my hair. Maybe Rin can... somehow... end up with an ice cube down her shirt." The young Vocaloid smirked at the thought of the young blonde squealing as the cold ice cube melted on her skin.

A young man walked down the sidewalk casually, though his manner of dress was nothing casual at all. He wore a full black suit, complete with plack pants, tie, jacket, and even a vest. He also had a white dress shirt and dress shoes. The young man moved some of his blue hair out of his face as he turned the corner and approached the Vocaloid household.

He was soon in plain view of Len, and as he walked towards the house, he yawned, appearing to be a bit tired. Len, however, would recognize him as the boy who played the violin during the last Vocaloid Concert. The one who just about everyone had thanked for playing while they sang.

He stopped in front of the porch and shifted his weight to his right leg. "Hello, Len. I'm sure you remember me? It's only been about five days, after all." he said with a small smile as he looked at Len with a tired, yet respectful gaze that mirrored the tone of his voice.

Len paused his game for a moment and looked up at the well dressed man. He was slightly impressed by the man's appearance, but his dull expression showed otherwise. He looked up at the blue haired man's hair. "He's like a wanna-be-fancy-Kaito..." Len snickered at the thought, but then cleared his throat. "Hello again..." He said with a small hint of amusement in his voice.

Len then pointed to the door. "If you have business with Master, he's inside." Len then slouched into his chair and looked back at his PSP, grunting a little as he jerked back and forth to make the game avatar turn.

Josh smiled softly and walked up to Len, sitting beside him. "I'm actually not here to talk to the Master. I've spoken with him already, and well..." he looked up, trying to find the words to describe what he wanted to say. "Let's just say I'm here to bring you to new home. One where you can have just about anything you want; whether it be bananas, games, hours of sleep, songs to sing, privacy from hordes of fangirls, an extremely comfortable bed, a huge television, all the latest technology..." he continued for a moment, stopping when he blushed slightly and scratched the back of his head with a goofy smile on his face. He had run out of things to say.

"So, yea...anyway. You up to live with me? You can anything you want given enough time and money. If you want, you can even have the other Vocaloids come and visit you whenever they want. You are all welcome at my home, but..." Josh blushed slightly now, "...I want you."

"Your voice and my violin, they're perfect together. Ever since I played my solo while you sang, I've been entranced by your voice and I long to hear it again." Josh smiled and put an arm around Len's shoulders. "So, what do you say?" he asked. "Of course, if you don't want to come with me, I can understand. I'll just have to play my violin alone..." he added softly, looking at the sidewalk calmly.

At this point, Len turned off his PSP and set it besides him, looking awfully hurt. "... Master would just... give me up that easily... huh?" Len stood up and slowly paced back and forth, trying to think this thoroughly.

About 5 minutes later, Len stopped in his tracks and let out a small sigh. He then looked over at Josh and nodded. "It sounds... nice. I'd like to go with you." Len paused for a few moments, double checking if this is a good idea. "... I suppose I should get my things." Len walked into the Vocaloid household.

About 25 minutes later, Len came back out to the entrance of the household, dragging a large suitcase behind him. He then looked back over at Josh once again. "Lets go before Rin wakes up."

Josh frowned slightly at Len's face as he turned off his PSP, but said nothing for a moment. "The Master wants you to... how should I say this... Grow and be happier than you can be here." he said finally.

A few minutes later Len stopped pacing, and Josh smiled standing and patting Len's shoulder gently. "Wonderful!" he said. As Len moved towards the door, he smiled and nodded. "You do that, I'll...find us a ride...or something." he said, seeming confused with himself before nodding and smiling again.

He turned around and reached into his suit jacket, pulling out a cell phone. He flipped it open and pressed the speed-dial. "Hey, it's me, I need a ride.... No, don't bring the truck bring the car; we need to have a trunk to put things in....Okay, thanks. Bye." he hung up the phone with a small sigh and put it back into his suit jacket, turning around and sitting on the porch again.

After a while, Len came out with his suitcase, and Josh stood up, turning to face him. "Very well. Our ride should be arriving any second now." he said. As if on cue, a jet black car rolled up and stopped at the curb. Josh motioned for Len to follow him as he walked down the sidewalk.

He made another gesture and the trunk popped open while Josh opened the back door to the car. He walked up to Len and stopped him for a second. "Here, I'll take your suitcase. You go ahead and get in the car." he said. Not waiting for an answer he took the suitcase and went around behind the car, lifting up the suitcase and putting it in the trunk before closing it and getting into the back of the car with Len.

The exterior of the jet black car was stylish, aerodynamic, and shined in the sun. The interior was also stylish with leather seats, maple wood, and everything a luxury car should have.

"I don't mean to show off with this car, but it's apparently the first one that my friend picked from the garage that had a trunk." Josh said to Len as the car started to drive down the road again, heading towards the hills.

"My name is Josh, by the way. Just in case you had forgotten it from five days ago." he said. The car drove while Josh tried to describe the interior of his house to Len and briefly go over everything that Len could do/have again. As the car pulled up to the house Josh, opened the door and then made a hand gesture, the trunk popping open again.

After Len got out of the car, Josh closed the door and then lifted Len's suitcase from the trunk, closing it and then knocking twice on it, signaling the driver that they were clear to leave, which they did. "Well, here we are. Home sweet home." Josh said, putting an arm around Len's shoulder and guiding him to the front door. For a house in the hills, it wasn't very ornate looking. To be honest, it looked like an ordinary home, only it was twice the size of a normal home due to the second floor.

The fanciest thing about the exterior of the house was probably the gate and fence around it, and maybe the front door. The garden and lawn were well tended to, not allowed to grow too high or crazy, and not trimmed too short. The flowers weren't blooming yet, so they looked like green plants for now. Josh stopped at the front door and reached into his pocket, unlocking the door and opening it before guiding Len inside.

"Welcome to your new home, Len." he said as he put Len's suitcase down just inside and to the left of the door.

The floors were a dark hardwood with brilliant looking rugs. The walls, painted with dark and light colors, don't seem to clash at all, making everyone feel welcome, and comfortable. Paintings of various art styles and pictures of many different things hung on the walls so they weren't bare, as well as some posters of shows that Josh had been in. The furniture was large, comfortable, and adorned with equally comfortable pillows. The TV was huge, covering most of the wall. Below it were all sorts of Gaming consoles from many different eras, as well as an exceptional amount of games and movies. There was a DVD/VHS player as well to go with the movies. The kitchen was huge, with at least two fridges filled with all sorts of food and drinks. The cupboards were filled with food, pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, trays, spices, sugars, everything. The bedrooms were all large, quiet, had their own bathrooms, closets, dressers, everything.

Then there was one room that had no windows, no carpet, and no furniture. There was nothing except a book stand with a closed music book, and a violin case that lay open, revealing a violin and bow. The room was eerily silent, as the walls were sound proofed, and well insulated, keeping the room at a cozy temperature. It looked...sad, seeing it so empty. Josh said nothing about it other than "And this is where I practice with my violin."

After moving back to the front of the house, Josh stopped and turned to Len again. "Well, this house is as much as it is yours as much as it is mine. What room would you like?" he asked. "You can sleep where ever you want; A bedroom, the couch, the kitchen, any one of the sitting rooms..." he paused to take in a breath before speaking again. "You can sleep alone or..." he blushed slightly. "You can sleep in my room with me." he said. He cleared his throat and gestured to Len's suitcase. "You can go ahead and choose now, or you can wait." he said while walking towards the stairs.

"Now, if you'll excuse me for a moment, I simply must get out of this suit." he said then he turned and walked up the stairs.

Len sighed and mumbled under his breath in a sarcastic tone. "Smooth move Master... I'm sure I'll be even happier with a stranger..." But he said nothing more as he saw a jet black car pull up to the front of the driveway. Len blinked a few times in slight awe. He approached the car, but before he turned to walk over to the trunk, Josh took Len's suitcase in a polite matter. Len normally wouldn't ever accept help with putting his things in a trunk, his music, or anything for that matter, but before he could do anything, he was already carrying his things to the back. Len only shrugged and got into the car.

Len's eyes widened slightly in amazement as he looked around at the car's design. He liked how everything reflected the light, giving it a sort of fresh look. "... Definitely a good start, I suppose." The only thing Len didn't like was the new car smell. He cracked a window to let himself breath. When Josh got into the car, he covered his impressed expression with a dull one. With Len being the way he is, he could never truly admit he was impressed.

Len was enjoying the wind slipping threw the small crack of the window as it blew threw his oddly styled hair. He then head Josh introduce himself. Len nodded. "I haven't forgotten... Miku and Rin were fan-girling over your skills. I... I personally wasn't very impressed." Len lied, he actually admired him for his skills as much as the two girls did. Then thinking Josh was done talking, he continued to Len's surprise with a long description of his house and the activities. Len slouched in his chair and pulled his hoodie over his head. He scuffled a little under his breath as he listened to Josh go on.

Len thought the ride would never end, until he felt the wind start to slow and the car turning. He then looked out the window. Josh could see Len's expression threw the window. His jaw dropped at the sight of the garden and the beautiful decor surrounding the house. Len got out of the car and stretched. He then felt Josh's free arm wrap around his shoulders as the other carried his luggage. Josh guided him to the front of the house. Len seemed to be slightly irked by the somewhat stranger being so affectionate already, but for some reason, didn't seem to mind it very much.

As soon as they entered the house, Len couldn't hide his expressions no longer. His eyes might as well have appeared with sparkles in them as he looked around at his surroundings. "This guy sure knows how to make someone feel at home." Len thought to himself with a small smile, the first one Josh saw today, not including the devious smirk Len had when he was thinking about Rin.

Len followed beside Josh as he had the all exclusive tour of the well-sized house. He liked how large the rooms were, he was even very tempted to just bellyflop onto one of the beds because they seemed so comfortable. But Len held himself back and continued on. When they came across the room Josh practiced his music, Len shuttered. He didn't like this room very much, seeing how empty and dull it was. He didn't even step threw the doorway of that room, just glanced at it from a distance.

Eventually, the tour ended, and Len looked very satisfied. He was trying to hide his expressions, but his eyes did all the talking for him. "Well, this house is as much as it is yours as much as it is mine. What room would you like?" he heard Josh ask. "You can sleep where ever you want; A bedroom, the couch, the kitchen, any one of the sitting rooms..." Len started to think for a few moments, until he finally heard Josh continue. "You can sleep alone or..." he saw the color in Josh's cheeks.

"You can sleep in my room with me."

Len's face turned into a light shade of red at his words. He pulled his hoodie over his face to hide his blushing face. "E-Err... I'm... I'm not exactly sure on which room I want... I thought you'd have it already chosen for me..."

Len watched Josh walk upstairs to change. Len pulled his hoodie off of his head and sighed. "Well this is embarrasing..." Len exhaled and smirked a little to himself.

Josh entered his room and shut the door, loosening his tie and letting out a long, deep breath of exhaustion. The suit was hot and stuffy, and the shoes had little to no support for his feet. 'Aside from me boring him in the car, I think he likes the place.' he thought to himself as he undressed and found some more comfortable clothing. 'His blush makes him adorable...' he thought, making himself blush in the process as he dressed himself in a simple pair of sweat pants, and a simple t-shirt.

After calming himself enough to not visibly blush too brightly, he exited his room and walked down the stairs. His footsteps were quiet now that he wasn't wearing those unbearably uncomfortable shoes. Though his presence was announced before he entered a room by his humming voice that matched the melody that he played a few days ago at the concert. His voice didn't sound quiet as beautiful as his violin playing, but it was still a nice sound to hear.

After aimlessly wandering around his own house for a few minutes, Josh entered the kitchen, humming a song that sounded simple, but in reality was very difficult for most violinists to play. He opened the fridge and pulled out a soda after shrugging. He looked at the clock on the wall, which was nothing special, and tilted his head. It was only three in the afternoon, and yet he felt so tired.

He went into the living room to find Len laying on the couch quietly. He stood over the back of the couch and looked at Len after taking a drink of his soda. "So, have you decided what room you want?" he asked him. "Though you can seriously sleep wherever. I hardly use my own room. I mostly just ... pass out on the couch or in a chair." he said with a yawn.

'I wonder if I should tell him....' he thought, looking away from Len to take a drink of his soda. 'Nah, I won't tell him yet.' he thought as he stood straight, hiding one hand from view as he flicked his wrist. A can of soda appeared in his free hand before he walked around the couch and held it out to Len. "Here, have a soda." he said, taking another drink of his own before setting it down on the coffee table in front of the couch while still holding out Len's to him.

Len took off his hoodie, which reviled a thin white T-shirt from underneath. He set it down on his luggage as Josh was just coming back down the stairs, humming a familiar tune. Meanwhile, Len wasn't able to calm himself down enough and still had a hint of red in his cheeks. He laid down with his hands behind his head and closed his eyes, he had no problem making himself home, that's for sure.

Len flickered his eyes open to look up to the taller male offering him a soda. Len hesitated for a few moments, but then sat up and took it from Josh's hands. "Th-" Len stopped. Was he really about to say "Thanks" or "Thank you?" From the looks of it, it even surprised Len. But he only pouted and chugged down half of his soda. Len then nodded no. "Not yet... they all seem nice, but I just can't decide... if that makes any sense."

Josh smiled and chuckled lightly. "Yea, I had trouble picking them out too." he said as he sat down next to Len. "But don't worry, it's only three o'clock, you've got plenty of time to pick one or decide if you really need one." he said with a chuckle. He looked around. "Now where's that damn remote..." he muttered, checking between the seat cushions. He pouted as he couldn't find it and let out a defeated sigh as he sat back down and crossed his arms over his chest while pouting.

He blinked and then sat up as if he remembered. He stood and walked over to the TV itself, pushing the power button to the TV and to a random game console, picking up the controller that corresponded with it. "Ah! Here it is." he lied, he reached his hand in, and where he grabbed the TV remote appeared, allowing for him to turn the TV to the correct channel to play the game he had in the console. He turned on a second controller and tossed it onto the couch. It landed next to Len.

"Better get ready, because you're about to become more comfortable in this house." he said as the opening sequence for the game started to play on the absolutely huge TV.

Len raised an eyebrow in reply to Josh. He sighed and shook his head. "Oh please, last thing I want to do is play a game with you..." He said in a harsh tone as he ignored eye contact. But then he then glanced down at the controller that landed next to him. Len started at it for about a minute. He ran a hand threw his hair, his leg bouncing up and down as he resists the temptation.

He then sighed again. "Aw, what the heck." He then picked it up the controller. "If you insist." Len smirked a little. "But don't come whining to me when I kick your ass in whatever we're playing." He said in a challenging, but playful tone.

Josh smirked as he sat next to Len as the main menu came up and he scrolled through it. It was an first person shooter game that wasn't supposed to come out in stores for another month, and yet Josh had it. Complete with absolutely no bugs. Josh set up the lobby, chose the map, set the settings, and once both he and Len were ready, he started the match that would last most of the day.

At least 7 hours later......

The final match ended in Len's victory, leaving the score at Len: 55 games won, and Josh: 45 games won. Each game was about fourteen minutes long, and the graphics, controls, details, sounds, everything was just as amazing as the house that the two were in.

Over the course of the seven hours both Josh and Len spent playing, they had ordered pizza and soda. They had pigged out on pizza, bananas, soda, chips, cookies, and a whole lot of food that left them both completely full and satisfied.

Josh yawned loudly and sat straight and turned off the TV and console along with the game controllers. He then looked at Len with tired eyes and chuckled, a smirk on his face. "Well, you won." he said, patting Len's shoulder before standing up. "And I'm about to pass out, so I'm going to bed." he said as he stood up and dusted crumbs off of his clothing.

"As I said before, you may sleep wherever you like, and with who or what ever you would like to share a sleeping space with. If you need me, I'll be probably snoring in my room and all you'll have to do is either nudge me really hard, push me off the bed, set off my alarm, or..." he shrugged "..whatever you want, really." he said.

Before he turned and left he leaned down and gave Len a quick hug. "I hope you love your life here as much as I love it here." he whispered before turning and heading up the stairs after saying "Good night" again.

He went in his room, he shut the door and he walked over to his bed where he took off his shirt and then crawled into bed, covering himself with the soft, warm blankets as he rested his head on his pillow and closed his eyes.

'Len is just so adorable. I just want to cuddle him all day and all night...' was the last thing the thought before he passed out and fell into a deep sleep with a blush on his face.

Len saw the game title appear on the TV screen. "Haaaahhh! How could you get this game?! I've been dying to try this one out!" Len sat up in his seat. "I bet he got this illegally... It's probably full of glitches..." He then slouched in his seat and had a look of doubt on his face.

Len practically cheated the whole time they were playing the new shooting game. He practically shoved Josh here and there to make him miss his shot, with the same excuse every time, "Oh, did I do that? Gosh, those darn reflexes." He said as he laughed.

As if it couldn't get better, Josh ordered pizza and brought out all types of snacks. Len slightly drooled at the sight of the food, he hasn't eaten all day. So he helped himself to the feast of pizza, bananas, chips and cookies. He then washed it down with a few cups of soda. He sighed in satisfaction, but ended up getting a huge case of hiccups afterwards.

Len jumped up from the couch as he achieved his victory. "Haha! I am victorious!" Len did a small sort of victory dance, but immediately stopped as he noticed what he was doing. He crossed his arms and cleared his throat. "That was no challenge whatsoever... You must be really..." Len stopped, this man was being so kind and considerate to Len and he was about to insult him once again. Len thought for a moment. "... You definitely need practice." He scuffed. Len then saw the blue haired male stand up as he announced he was going to bed. Len was disappointed, he was having so much fun, but he found himself awfully tired himself.

Len laughed a little as he heard the multiple suggested ways to wake him up, he knew he'd have plenty of fun doing that. But Len quickly caught himself and went back to his dull mask.

He then felt Josh give him a quick goodnight hug. He felt warm and comfortable in Josh's arms, even thought he's practically a stranger to Len. Len wanted to hug him back and say goodnight, but kept to himself and nodded. "...W... We'll see."

"We'll see...? Len, you're just horrible." He thought to himself as he watched Josh walk upstairs to his room.

Len then looked over at his big suitcase and sighed. He grabbed the handle and dragged the suitcase upstairs to the available room closest to Josh's. He then started to make it as close to his old room as much as he could. he hanged up picture frames of him and the other Vocaloids, he set his manga books on his bookshelf, he fixed up his bed and placed his cloths hanging up in his closet and in the dresser.

Len pulled out his pajamas. He buttoned up his pajama shirt and crawled into the bed. He sighed in comfort, the bed was as soft as it looked. He stared at the roof as he tried to drift into sleep. "He isn't so bad... He's actually really fun... I think I may like it here." He then closed his eyes and drifted into a deep sleep, followed by soft snoring.

Later that night.....

Josh tossed and turned in his sleep, as if he wasn't comfortable, which shouldn't happen because the bed was the best in the market when it came to comfort. He was dreaming. A bad dream, no less. A bad dream he was trying desperately to wake up from but couldn't seem to do it.

In his dream his music playing was horrible, yet no matter what, he couldn't seem to stop playing. Even as people threw things at him, cut him, shot him, beat him, no matter what, he wouldn't stop his horrible playing.

In the real world, he began to moan, groan, and scream in his sleep, though his tossing and turning had subsided.

"Make it stop, make it STOP!" he screamed, though he wouldn't wake up. No matter how hard he tried, he simply couldn't.

He needed someone else to wake him up.

Len woke up in the middle of the night due to a loud ruckus in the other room. He turned himself the opposite way and tried to muffle the sounds with his pillow, but they only got louder. He then sighed and sat up. He then heard Josh's cries,

"Make it stop, make it STOP!"

Len didn't know what was going on, he was scared himself. Was it an intruder? Was it a ghost coming back to torture him? All of these silly things except for a bad dream popped up in Len's mind, making him almost petrified.

Len then made up his mind. He opened the door and rushed over to Josh's room. To his surprise, no one was in there. Everything was where he remembered it was, only a sleeping Josh tossing and turning around in his bed furiously.

Len tried calling out his name, louder and louder. That didn't work. Len tried to remember what Josh suggested at times like this, but he was in such panic that it was hard to stay focused.

Len then grabbed Josh's arm and pulled him off the bed. Josh landed hard on the floor, knocking him out of his horrid nightmare.

The nightmare continued, getting louder and louder when suddenly came a relief. The sensation of falling! A small yelp of surprise came from Josh as he hit the floor. He stayed there for a second before shaking his head and sitting up, breathing hard as if trying to catch his breath.

Josh looked up to see Len and paused for a few seconds. "Did I wake you up?" he managed to ask through his heavy breathing as he slowly rose to his feet. "I'm...I'm sorry." he managed to squeak out as he then sat back down in his bed. "It was just a bad dream. You can go back to bed now." he said without looking at Len.

He turned and went onto his side, laying there after covering himself up again. "Goodnight, Len..." he said. The bed he was in looked rather empty with only him in it. And he looked really lonely in it. If only someone would join him...maybe he wouldn't have another bad dream....

Len frowned and sighed as he shook his head. "A nightmare? Geez, you're the biggest baby ever, a nightmare!" But Len stopped talking as he saw the condition Josh was in. A look of concern appeared on Len's face as he watched Josh crawl back into his bed.

Len nodded. "Okay... Goodnight." He walked over to the door and opened it. He was about to turn off Josh's light, but then he looked back at Josh laying in his bed. Len ran a hand threw his hair and sighed deeply. "I can't believe I'm doing this..."

Len walked back over to Josh's bed. "Move over a little... I'll watch over you so I can wake you up if you have another bad dream." Len blushed. "But d-don't expect me to do this every night..."

Josh nodded slowly at what Len said and tried to drift back to sleep, but then he didn't hear Len leave the room. Instead he turned off the light, closed the door, and walked back over to Josh's bed. The blue haired man sat up, the blanket falling to reveal his bare chest. He had a toned muscular build, but it wasn't anything major. If anything, he got the build from playing the violin for a long time.

"You're...going to..." he blushed deeply, but scooted over enough to let Len into the bed. Josh smiled a little when he saw Len's blush. "I didn't expect you to want to do this...but.."

Josh stopped talking for a second before looking up at Len, his blush a little deeper than before. "If...I snuggle up to you, don't freak out...I'm...really cuddly." he stuttered a little before turning away again and laying his head on the pillow. "Well, goodnight." he said hastily before closing his eyes and pulling the covers up over him again.

The next day.....

Len would wake up first, and would be surprised to find that it was not Josh that snuggled up to him, but that he had snuggled up to Josh. Not only that, but Josh was holding onto Len as if he were a teddy bear; with his arms wrapped around Len's body almost protectively and lovingly.

If Len tried to move, Josh would groan and tighten his grip on Len, not wanting to let go of his snuggle partner.

Len rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He then tried to sit up, but noticed Josh's arms wrapped around Len. "Wha...?" He then recalled the events that happened late in the night. Len sighed. "He wasn't kidding... He really does cuddle... To think he could turn me towards him without waking me up..." He mumbled quietly to himself, not wanting to wake up Josh.

"Wait... Why do I not want to wake him up? If I do then I can get this over grown kid off of me... But for some reason I... Don't want to..." He thought to himself. "... I.. Feel so safe in his arms... And he's so warm..." Len then closed his eyes tight and blushed a deep shade of red. "Listen to yourself Len! It's not him, it's the damn bed that makes you feel comfortable..."

Even with his mind telling Len otherwise, he shuffled a little closer to Josh and kept his eyes tightly shut, trying to calm himself down.

Len's movement would not be the cause of Josh's awakening. Nor would it be Len's mumbling to himself. In fact, if anything, Josh would just continue to hold Len where he was. When Len shuffled a little closer to him, Josh's arms followed and pulled Len even closer so that their chests were almost touching.

Then Josh's alarm went off at 7:30 AM.

Josh's face seemed to distort with a cute annoyance before one of Josh's eyes opened, pure, unfiltered annoyance filled its iris. He did not look at Len, only the clock, which vanished in to thin air, taking its annoying sound with it. After a few seconds, the normal look of tiredness returned to Josh's eye as it slowly closed and he tried to fall back to sleep, still holding Len.

After a few seconds, if Len did nothing to reawaken Josh, Josh's face would return to a peaceful sleeping one, and his arms would pull Len completely against his body, their bodies touching, his chin resting gently on the top of Len's head as his surprisingly strong arms prevented escape from his embrace.
