Description

Ceridwen Mia Nox
Image
Theme: Alice ~ Music Box

Role: The Crazed Fangirl ~ A young underclassmen girl who happens to have a very large crush on the Reverse Trap. . . . She’s hyper and crazy when it comes to her, though she is entirely unaware that the guy she’s crushing on is actually a girl. Whenever the Reverse Trap comes up, she loses it, and her obsession with ‘him’ has led other girls to mostly avoid being her friend, as a result, she only has one good friend on campus, and this is the Best-Friend. He’s like a brother to her and he is the only person she’ll come out of her fangirl-states for, she’s aware of his feelings for the Girlfriend and is cheering him on, though she keeps his feelings a secret. She is going to be rooming with the Girlfriend this year, though they already know each other.

Gender: Female
Nickname(s): Ceri, Rii, ‘The Ninja of Bloodworth Prep’
Date of Birth: July 29th, 1996
Age: 15
Grade: 10th

Appearance: Ceridwen is extremely petite, though she’s tall enough to be considered of a ‘normal’ height, she is all around a small girl. Even for a fifteen year old she’s small, and always has been. Normally, she keeps her waist length hair tucked back into a neat plait, normally keeping it thrown over one of her shoulders, or just letting it go which every way the laws of physics allows it. Honestly, as long as it’s out of her way, she couldn’t care what it did. The long braid is sort of her trademark, or so she claims, it’s very rare to ever see her with her hair not back in one, if ever, she sleeps with a braid in her hair and no matter what sort of event she is participating in, her hair is always back in one.

When Ceridwen does let her hair down though, it falls to her waist and is full of waves, and it shimmers and shines due to its naturally light coloring. She keeps her bangs angled more toward the right side of her face, though they gap at her part, showing most of her face. Yet, her bangs on the right side of her face cover half of her eye. Keeping her hair like this, you can’t see that she has rather well-defined cheekbones, or that her face is actually pretty thin. However, it’s rather evident that she has rather soft features, and is very clearly a young lady, her nose is small, her face is rather gentle and kind looking, her lips are full and pink while her eyes are always wide open, showing their unusual coloring.

She’s more cute than strikingly beautiful, but the rather light coloring of her hair and eyes are enough to catch attention. No matter what emotion she is feeling, Ceridwen always looks rather innocent in her expressions, from happiness to anger, she can never ever disguise how she is feeling. Normally though, she has a silly grin on her face, and her eyes are open wide, giving her a very overexcited appearance . . . which is accurate.
Body wise, she’s just small, both in height and build. Honestly, Ceridwen just doesn’t have much of a figure, she’s fairly flat-chested, and she’s very petite, her build actually gives her a bit of a lithe appearance. She does nothing to hide what figure she has, nor does she really worry about dressing to show it off, she has what she has and it’s as simple as that.

Overall, Ceridwen is a small young girl with unusually colored hair and eyes, both very light and striking because of this, her skin is soft, fair and healthy looking, free of major scars. But at the same time, she has a bit of a very delicate look to her thanks to the fact that she is bony, if she wears something like a tank top, you can see her bones sticking out of her joints very well, it’s a very prominent feature upon her body.

Preferred Clothing: Layers, skirts, leggings and button up tops, slip on boots. . . . Ceridwen loves to dress up casually, but keeps an air about herself that shows off her natural personality and eccentric ways.

ImageHeight: 4 ft 10 ins (116.8 cm)
Weight: 75 lbs (35.8 kg)
Measurements: 28-20-29 (71-51-75)
Hair Color: Silver/Platinum Blonde
Eye Color: Light Violet

Personality: She’s a hyper, clingy and rather tricky young girl. Since birth, Ceridwen was always a rather energetic young thing, always bouncing off the walls and talking incessantly about topics people might not care about in any way shape or form. First impressions can give you the idea that Ceridwen is a strange girl who has no regards for others, that she is a person who is airheaded through and through and possesses no common sense. She babbles and babbles often, at times just going on about subjects that really are not of any significance to a situation or just talking about random things or spouting off random facts she knows. You could almost say that talking is one of Ceridwen’s hobbies, but then, that might just be silly. People are often unsure if she’s hyper, if she has ADHD or if she might be a bit crazy. . . .

No matter what, she always seems to be ‘attacking’ the people she knows with glomps, hugs or jumping out of nowhere and startling them. She loves jolting people and giving them little frights, but just as soon as she has appeared before someone, she’ll be off, looking for another person to spook it seems. This often makes her seem like she is very flighty and totally airheaded, perhaps even a bit stupid because she can’t sit still long enough to properly greet a person after making them nearly wet themselves. Always moving in some way, she always has to be moving in some manner, whether it be from quickly circling a person as they walk and talk, or to her shaking a leg while sitting. Ceridwen is someone who never seems to be able to still herself in the slightest. So really, she does come off as being nothing but an obnoxious, hyper girl who has little regard for others.

Also, Ceridwen clings to people, she likes you, she clings to you from time to time. She’s a bit touchy feeling in that regard, even though she knows that people have their personal bubbles and stuff, she still goes on and hugs people without warning because she loves to do it. Honestly, she really does seem like a hyper kid thanks to all of this, to acting like she does. And unlike a lot of small, hyper girls, her excited-way isn’t cute, it’s more annoying than anything else. For Pete’s sake, she doesn’t shut up most of the time, she’s hugging you at random, and giving you a few frights. . . . How is that cute?

Perhaps one of her most defining features is the fact that she has a crush that borders on an obsession, easily . . . okay, so the line between those two concepts are often blurred with Ceridwen and her actions. The girl goes utterly insane in Gabriel’s presence, or while thinking about him. Often, if his name is even so much as mentioned, she’ll go off into la-la land and come out of some mushy-gushy fantasy about him and her squealing like the fangirl she so is. Ceridwen will tend to fidget about when he comes into the conversation, going on little adventures in her brain while just thinking about him, blocking everything else out. This includes whatever might be said to her. She’ll just be off in her own little head, entirely unaware of reality, she is obsessed with Gabriel, really she is. Claiming to be devoted to him without a doubt, she will exclaim in the presence of potential love rivals for the boy these words, "Rii is Gabriel’s one and only! No one could ever could ever love him as much as she does, your affection can’t compare to hers!”

Yeah, she is obsessed with him, to the point that other girls avoid her because they are a little bit afraid of her, because of this, Ceridwen has few friends and leads a rather solitary life when she is in her classes due to the only people she really knows being in the grades above her. Still, even alone she maintains a silly smile on her face, moving about like a fly on a sugar rush, looking everywhere and barely seeming to pay attention to anything. Sometimes she’s even humming without realizing it. Honestly, she’s aware that her ways drive potential friends away from her. She knows it, yet does nothing to fix it because she is simply as she is; just Ceridwen.

One of the reasons Ceridwen talks so much is because she says that she doesn’t want to waste her breath with silence; speaking is noise, and the fact that others perceive this noise and such makes you understand you are existing. Even if she gets annoying, she wants to know she’s alive and that she can be heard, so she doesn’t waste her air.

Even though the girl is a walking human shaped container of energy and insanity, she does have her moments like everyone else in the world. . . . She can be serious, kind and considerate of others’ feelings, the fangirl possesses some semblance of common sense, she is just as intelligent as the people around her, but she just doesn’t always seem like it because of how she acts. Truthfully, she’s a very sensitive girl, she is really actually concerned for the feelings of those around her, well, those close to her anyway, and she’s always doing her best to try and make sure her friends are happy. . . . Still though, Ceridwen only has one person she is willing to come out of her fangirl states for; and that’s the Best Friend. She deems him, and him alone, important enough to always listen to.

Because she does care about her friends, Ceridwen is ready to spring into action if one of them is threatened, and prepared to seek out vengeance if one is hurt. Screw with Jerald, Gabriel or one of their respective companions and she’ll get you back good. Ceridwen is cunning, devious and capable of plans you wouldn’t think possible from her thanks to her seemingly insane state of mind. If you mess with one of her friends, you get her mad, get her mad, and that hyperactive side of her goes good-bye and she gets rather calculating. Be smart, and stay on her good side.

Also, she has a creative side for music she only lets out around Jerald, and this is the fact she can sing and play bass as well as she can. Only while around him do these traits surface.

Oddities: She speaks in the third person religiously, addressing herself as ‘Rii’ instead of by her full first name.

ImageShe practically stalks Gabriel at times, she’s so ‘in love’ with the Reverse Trap that it has led Ceridwen to do some pretty crazy stuff in order to try and get his attention, such as glomping him after she hops out of a tree. . . .

Even though she speaks in the third person all the time, Ceridwen has an odd knack for being able to sing well, and she does so in the first person, using proper pronouns to refer to herself in the verses.

Despite her hyper-activeness, Ceridwen is surprisingly clever and quite the little capable actress, able to make herself seem rather frail and helpless when she’s anything but. If she has to enter a sticky situation, she never goes in unless she’s fully prepared and thought of every single potential outcome.

Likes: Gabriel, sweets, being outside, music, coffee/energy drinks, writing and her friend Jerald.
Dislikes: Bitter/spicy foods, being lazy or still, rainy days, when people are gloomy, potential love rivals for Gabriel (male or female), blood, silence, science class and anyone who is mean.
Hobbies: Writing, playing bass, glomping people, pulling pranks, gymnastics, and singing.

Phobia(s):
Brontophobia – Thunderstorms
Hemophobia – Blood
Acrophobia – Heights

Skills: Disregarding her odd habit of speaking in the third person, Ceridwen loves music, and singing. Since she was young she has taken both bass and voice lessons, leaving her able to both play an instrument and sing rather well. Like her mother she has a natural knack for it.

Because of her gymnastics training as a child, Ceridwen is surprisingly lithe, quick and sneaky. She is like a ninja in some respects, and is capable of spying on people, sneaking up on them and ambushing anyone if she sees fit. Also, she can pick locks so she can break into and enter areas she shouldn’t.

Unlike many people, Ceridwen is bluntly honest in regards to questions asked to her, she won’t beat around the bush with any topic. Even with a smile on her face, she’ll answer you honestly, even if her words sound cruel and viscous.

Personal History: Ceridwen’s life wasn’t exactly a horrible one, but it wasn’t exactly a happy one either. During the time Ceridwen was in her mother’s womb, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and refused treatments in order to carry Ceridwen to full term so that she would be healthy upon birth. Right after she came into the world, Ceridwen’s mother was rushed off to intensive care where she received aggressive treatments for the cancer, which had begun to spread and consume her internal organs. . . . Unfortunately, she did not survive for long as she passed on when Ceridwen was only a year old. Her mother and father loved her dearly, and saw her as a miracle child as they had been unable to conceive a child before her.

Because her mother passed on when she was so very young, Ceridwen had no memories of her, and didn’t know anything about her, other than what she had been told by her family. Still, her father and she were always very close. There was no conflict between them, and no secrets. Always the hyper child, Ceridwen was always on the wacky side of things when it came to how she grew up, she choose her own clothing, and often was everywhere. Yet, she was a rather smart young woman with some extraordinary talents in regards to music. From a young age she showed a love for singing, like her mother before her. It’s possible that Ceridwen took up singing in order to feel a connection to her late mother.

Her life was mostly smiles and laughs, a few tears when it came to thinking about the mother she couldn’t even remember, but overall, she had a good life. Eventually when she was old enough, her father applied to have her sent to Marshall Bloodworth Preparatory Academy, because it was her mother’s high school, Ceridwen had rather excellent grades and was accepted in without a hitch.

It was in her freshman year that she would meet the guy she swore she would marry and love forever; Gabriel Sinclair. Like most everyone else at Bloodworth, she believes that Gabriel is a boy. It happened very early on, Ceridwen had skipped one of her classes, and was crying out on the tennis courts because she had been made fun of by some older girls for looking like such a little kid due to her height and weight. Gabriel found her when she herself was skipping out on PE, cheered her up and told her not to be so sad. Ceridwen has had a massive crush on him ever since this happened. It was also in the last year that she met Jerald and became friends with him. . . .

In the midst of last year, there was something going on at Bloodworth Prep that was less than pleasant. Something she personally go involved with upon hearing the stories from the girls around her. There was this major jerkface in one of the upperclassmen grades who LOVED to to mess around with the underclassmen girls . . . sort of go ahead and do things to them and then threaten them with injury and his ‘buddies,’ to stay quiet. Still though, there were always rumors and the girls confiding quietly to their friends, tears coming from their eyes as they tried to overcome the trauma. How else would Ceridwen have found out about it?

She was called the ninja of Bloodworth for a reason; she had earned it well for what she had done last year. Putting it bluntly; those bastards didn’t go to Bloodworth anymore because of what she’d done. It involved her ninja skills, small body, a digital voice recorder, and her status as a freshman, as well as a can of mace. She’d gone ahead and tricked them into thinking she were vulnerable to their tactics, acting innocent and scared, getting everything they said down on the recorder right before it were too late, then she sprung on them. Pulling out the can of mace and dodging any attempts they made to grab her with ease; they were so bulky compared to her lithe frame; and she had been smaller last year, and quicker.

After getting away from them, Ceridwen had downloaded all of what had been said onto her laptop; made a fake e-mail account, and sent it to the principal as a file attachment. Along with the message that the e-mail and contents were vitally important to the safety of the freshman and sophomore girls at the school; signing herself off as ‘The Ninja of Bloodworth Prep.’ After what the boys claimed and said; rumors circulated, and people began calling Ceridwen the school’s ninja.

However because there was hard evidence of what the boys had been doing, many of the girls they had assaulted came forward, and they all were sent to jail for a good long while. . . . It was probably Ceridwen’s proudest moment ever, since then she has bore her title with pride, happy to be considered a ‘ninja.’

This year has her returning to Bloodworth Prep a year older, at fifteen. Ready to take on a new school year, Ceridwen is looking forward to seeing Jerald again, as well as doing her best in winning Gabriel’s affections this year. . . .

Other: When online Ceridwen calls herself, ‘PoetryOfTheNight.’

~ Gabriel Sinclair

Oh . . . God had to just be kidding her with this one, right? Of all the guys at Bloodworth Prep to be assigned as her roommate this year, she had to wind up with one who was arguably the most well known on campus?! Seriously?

Despite the horrified feeling gnawing away at her stomach, Gabriel just stood as she had upon opening the door, to the side, hand still placed upon the doorknob, yet a genuine look of surprise laced her androgynous features. She didn’t look aghast to see who her roommate was, no, she just looked . . . stunned. Her amber eyes were wide, and her mouth was simply shut, though some of the color had faded from her complexion, leaving the teenager looking a tad on the pallor side. Even if her physical appearance did not do justice to how it was she was feeling on the inside, rest assured that Gabriel certainly was finding herself feeling a bit sick. It had been bad enough to find out that she had to room with someone this year, meaning being extra cautious on top of how careful she was to begin with. . . . But this, this was just a cruel joke.

Feeling her heart sink into her stomach, the full weight of the reality at hand settled in upon Gabriel’s shoulders as she came to understand just whom her roommate was, and how it made things all the more worse for her. She blinked, maintaining the same expression of surprise upon her features. Devyn O’Harris . . . of the four-hundred plus male students enrolled in Bloodworth Prep, my assigned roommate turned out to be Devyn O’Harris. she thought to herself, Oh God, could this scenario possibly play out any worse than this?! Gabriel thought, nearly letting out a whimper of protest. Okay, so she had expected the situation to be bad, all things considered, but the fact that she was getting stuck with Devyn O’Harris . . . that just made things really, really bad!

Everyone in Bloodworth Prep knew who he was, literally, everyone. That meant that soon enough, people would know Gabriel was rooming with him, and potentially, that could draw unwanted attention to her. As if she didn’t already have enough of that problem considering the fact that she was often attending those wild parties NoĂ©l insisted on going to. . . . So, how much did this raise the level of risk regarding her secret becoming exposed? Well, considering that Math was Gabriel’s weakest subject, the girl could only answer that this raised the stakes by a lot.

. . . .also, Devyn was just staring at her, an expression of what seemed to be disappointment on his face for some reason. Gabriel took in a rather deep inhale of air, doing so quietly, as she did her damn best to regain her composure. Yes, she was inwardly freaking out and cursing Lady Luck for all she was worth for cursing her as she had, but she couldn’t show that. She had to remain calm, act like this was no big deal, and not show that she was actually pretty peeved about all of this, as well as just horror-struck. No, that would just make things worse; it would make her look rather suspicious. Even more than her rather genderless face, and her rather diminutive frame and build did.

Yet still, Devyn just looked over her, as if he was uncertain of what to make of her. Oh God, don’t tell me he’s already suspecting something’s off? she thought, heart nearly leaping into her throat at the very notion of it. But, what if he was starting to think that? Would Gabriel have to up her game then? Make a rather blatant effort to play the part of a believable teenage boy? I don’t want to have to change how I act, I already can’t act like a girl, except for around NoĂ©l. . . . Honestly, even if Gabriel did know Devyn by name and appearance, also by the fact that he was as popular as the school’s nickname, she didn’t exactly know too much about him. So, she found herself hoping that he was just someone who liked examining people’s physical appearance intently upon their first meeting.

It was only a few seconds, that short time frame had been enough to make Gabriel fear for everything she had worked for the in the last two year. Even if she had been nearly lost in her own skull, her own worries, she didn’t fail to notice the fact that the genuine expression of disappointment/surprise upon Devyn’s had quickly given way to an expression that did little to impress her. He was back to smiling, shaking his head for whatever reason, that grin though. . . .

Her composure returned to her enough, Gabriel looked at her new roommate with a serious expression, that smile left her with a slightly sick feeling in her stomach. Not enough to be severe or anything of the sort, but, it didn’t sit right with her. Two years of playing the role of a guy ought to leave me with some level of knowing when it comes to facades. she thought, backing into the living space of the dorm as Devyn moved to come inside. He’d given her a friendly enough nod, but still . . . the reverse trap just regarded him as she had before.

The expression on her face was less than pleasant, and she found herself on the verge of rolling her eyes. Great, so, he was an actor was he? Just what she felt like putting up with on top of everything else! Mr. Popular put on a ruse in order to make sure people liked him. Even if her attitude and thoughts were like a pot calling a kettle black, Gabriel at least was honest about how she was feeling, despite the fact she had to pretend to be a boy, her sentiments regarding situations and people were genuine and truthful, she never put on an act to make others like her.

Gabriel watched her new roomie observe his surroundings after he shut the door and came inside. Well, her first impression of him was officially made; and it was a negative one. Whatever he thought of her, she didn’t know, and she found herself becoming rather apathetic to it. While there was an innate fear of him suspecting something was off about her, there was also the fact that his practiced, overly-pleasant smile had more or less gone and gotten her a bit irked. It annoyed her, it really annoyed her to see people pretending to be as something they were not. That was something that had always gotten Gabriel, for a long time. Maybe it was something that stemmed from the fact that her mother had stuck around for something she didn’t want for nine years, or maybe it was something else . . . but the fact remained that people who played the part of something they were not, those were the people who made her upset.

Great, this is just great. . . . Things did get worse, just when she thought they couldn’t. While Devyn went about seating himself at the table placed up against the wall that divided the kitchen from the rest of the living room, Gabriel merely stood where she was, thinking bitter thoughts about her situation.

“Right, then. You must be none other than my new roommate. I’m Devyn. Devyn O’Harris. And you?” Upon hearing him address her, Gabriel exhaled and relaxed her body; she couldn’t come off as completely unpleasant toward him could she now? Even if this sort of thing went against what she believed. . . . Not acting true to how she was actually feeling was something she loathed even the thought of, but she stuck rooming with Devyn for the next year, and if she was not careful around him, he could find out her secret . . . and everything would be ruined for her.

So, even if the fact that he used a facade around others got to Gabriel . . . she was just going to have to push passed that, and ignore it. Nothing is as ever simple as it might seem, you know that for a very solid fact. she chided herself, sighing as her shoulders dropped a bit. Okay, first impressions aside, as well as her own musings and bitter sentiments regarding things Devyn couldn’t control, she had to give him a chance. Gabriel knew she couldn’t be shallow and a jerk to him based on two minutes of presumptions, among other things. As long as I’m careful about my secret, really careful, there shouldn’t be a problem between him and I . . . as long as that ruse of his lets down.

A rather passive look overtook Gabriel’s face, her amber eyes having gone docile, she gazed at Devyn, “I know well enough whom you are.” She started, her voice rather sounding rather dull, bored. “I’d be a fool not to. . . .” Gabriel sighed melodramatically while she waved her hand, “Anyway, I’m Gabriel Sinclair, and yes, we’re to be roommates for the next year.”

Placing a hand on her hip, Gabriel shrugged, “Whether you know anything about me or not, I don’t care. You can think of me what you want to. I’m easy-going enough as far as living arrangements go, as long as we mind each others’ boundaries and such, there shouldn’t be a problem, also, if you haven’t gone ahead and eaten, go ahead and raid the kitchen if you feel like it, or watch TV. . . .” She sighed, beginning to head back to the bedroom, leaving Devyn sitting where he was, along with her cereal. I’ll clean it up soon enough, frankly, I’ve lost any trace of an appetite I had. She was just going to just go ahead and wash her face, as well as get dressed . . . eating was something she could worry about later when she didn’t feel so very uneasy and apathetic.

~ Ceridwen Nox

Late, late, late!! She was so late this morning, wasn’t she?! Carrying with her everything her tiny body could lug, a high-strung Ceridwen Nox darted through the hallways of the girl’s dormitory building. Oh, how she hated being late for ANYTHING! Well, this time it wasn’t her fault . . . she could blame her lateness on her dear old dad for getting her rear to the campus two hours after she wanted to have already shown up and said hello to the girl who was suppose to be her roommate for the next year. It had been the middle of term break when the letter had arrived; the notification of her room assignment being changed. The piece of paper had merely let Ceridwen and her father know that she would be changing her living arrangements, and to which room she was going to be stuck in for the next year, but it didn’t tell her whom she was going to be living with. . . .

Well . . . she sort of looked at that as being a surprise! Even if it was a little scary, not knowing whom she was spending the next year with, Ceridwen viewed it as a pleasant thing. It was a mystery~ Something fun to find out! Even thinking about it like this caused the teenager to smile, and giggle a little bit with happiness. How wonderful it would have been if there had been some major mix up in the housing office, and she and Gabriel wound up rooming together thanks to it . . . not~ Silly sounding, right? Ceridwen Nox was head over heels in love with a certain Gabriel Sinclair, she had been since near the beginning of last year, yet the idea of possibly living with him thanks to some freak mix-up was not something that actually appealed to the fangirl.

Nope, nope, it didn’t. Before anything like that happened, she wanted Gabriel to love her with his whole heart. And this was the year she swore that would happen. . . . Last year, her attempts to win his heart had been timid at first, frightful and uncertain. So much so that they had failed. That was when she was fourteen, and still a freshman.

Rounding a corner, Ceridwen’s green, frog-printed rubber rain boots squeaked rather loudly, while her wheel-bearing suitcase nearly tipped over from the sudden directional shift. Like always, Ceridwen was a remarkable sight in terms of her clothing; bright and notable. Along with the frog-printed boots, the small girl was wearing black leggings that ducked into the boots, a pair of denim shorts upon her legs, and a bright green tee shirt while she had her strangely colored hair tucked back into the usual braid. There was nothing else to be expected of the child, in terms of her hair and clothing. . . . A silly smile was still plastered onto her youthful face, her thoughts drifting to many places. To her new roommate, to Gabriel and also to her one real friend. . . .

Oh~ After she was through making an impression upon her new living mate, and getting her things set up, Ceridwen was so going to go say hello to him. It’d been over a month since she had seen him, and she just had to show him how she had grown! She’d turned fifteen, and, in her own head that is, had officially become a woman! The teenager was certain she had changed massively in the short time she had been away from Bloodworth Prep.

On her birthday, Ceridwen had vowed a few things about the coming school year . . . one, she was not going to be so ‘shy’ when it came to getting Gabriel to love her. Two had to do with the stunt she had pulled the previous year regarding the bastards who had been taking advantage of innocent underclassmen girls, well, it had to do with the title she had earned from her actions. Ceridwen swore that the whole of campus would know she was a ninja, someone who would protect the innocent from the guilty.

. . . .first though, she needed to actually get to her dorm to see her roomie! Her lavender eyes kept darting to the numbers placed on plaques next to the doors in the dormitory, each time it turned out to be the one she wasn’t looking for, a ‘Nope’ ran through the fangirl’s head. Finally though, when she did find the one she was looking for, Ceridwen literally skidded to a halt in front of it, maintaining a rather airheaded smile upon her face, she simply stood there for a moment, looking at the door before she fidgeted a bit where she stood and quietly squealed to herself at getting to meet who she would be living with~ Meeting new people was fun.

Time for Rii to meet her new roommate~ Ceridwen thought to herself, adjusting the bags she was carrying so the handles were around her wrist so she could open the door. Her small hand latched onto the doorknob like a leech, and without bothering to knock, Ceridwen quickly opened the door, and shouted, “Rii is sorry she is late! But she’s here now and ready to say hello to her new-!” Upon actually looking into the room however, the girl stopped talking, but did not lose that silly grin on her face. She simply remained still, and quiet for a moment as her gaze fell upon who it was she would be living with for the next year.

It was someone she already knew, huh, what were the chances? Well, Rii will be a monkey’s auntie, she never would have guessed that she’d wind up rooming with his crush of all the women here at Bloodworth Prep! she thought with a giggle, letting go of the doorknob as she went ahead and pulled herself into the dorm, her bags all in tow. “Hiya Alexis~ Who’d of thunk it, you and Rii being roomies this year, that is?”

Yes, Ceridwen Nox, the sophomore whom was reputed to be one of the most hyperactive things on campus . . . knew the most popular girl in the school. She knew Alexis Martinez, and actually liked her quite a bit, despite some of the girl’s tendencies. “This ought to be a fun year for both you and Rii!” Ceridwen announced with a happy laugh.

~Alexis Martinez

Alexis sipped through her coffee slowly, her back slightly to the dorm door. She kept both her hands around the warm cup, with her gazed fixed ahead on to the cream walls of the room. She quite liked how the room was set to be more sophisticated and perfectly organized, in fact Alexis hated the thought of having yet another roommate who wasn't fond of the simple tones used in the room and keeping it organized. She hated the use of too bright colors be it for furniture, walls or even clothing. Alexis is more likely to be found wearing darker colors with the occasional glimpse of a lighter color to contrast with her clothing.

Thoughts of new styles went through her head as she brought the coffee cup to her lips once more, being careful not to take a large gulp knowing the bad effects of it and the last thing she wanted was a swollen or burnt tongue on the first day back to school or in fact whatever day it was Alexis didn't seem fond of being less that immaculate. With that thought she stood up placing the coffee cup lightly on the table nearest to her. She took a few steps back toward the full length mirror looking over her appearance one more. Her roommate could walk in any time, and she wanted to be making the best impression.

With the reminder of her new roommate Alexis scoffed, Best impression.. right she thought to herself. She hadn't expected someone not to arrive on time, but then again there could be all sorts of reasons why she wasn't here. If Alexis was lucky enough, her roommate might not even be arriving till a few weeks having an extended holiday or she might even not end up with one. A small smirk resided on Alexis' face with the last idea...

Just as she turned on the heel of her stilettos, there was a rattle from the doorknob causing Alexis to frown a little. With the door opening, she stepped back instantly her slender fingers moving back into position on her hip as her eyes fell to the floor spotting the bags around the girl's hands. Alexis scanned her from the bottom to the top taking in her appearance with a raised eyebrow. Just as soon as her eyes met the other girls.. now her new roommate she blinked a few times knowing she remembered the girl from somewhere.

Alexis eyed the frog-patterned boots first, wondering why on earth she would wear something like that, then as she continued to notice she raised an eyebrow at the denim shorts upon the black leggings then shook her head slightly at the girl's bright green top. The colors may be striking in some manner, maybe not too much but it still wasn't something Alexis looked on with appreciation. Then again Alexis wasn't going to utter a word about this girl to her.. just yet.

The large voice coming from the girls mouth made Alexis flinch a little as she dropped her hands smoothening out her dress more toward the bottom before glancing up. Noticing the hyper manner and wide grin on the girl's face reminded her that her new roommate was no other than Ceridwen Nox, or as she liked to call herself 'Rii' or as she had heard from others 'The Ninja of Bloodworth Prep' the story behind that seemed irrelevant to Alexis now.

Alexis knowing this energetic woman may come off as a surprise but she knew Ceridwen anyway and that too only through Elijah, who was apparently best friends with this girl. Alexis put on a polite smile before turning her back to the girl to slowly walk back to the table she had propped the coffee on. Letting the warmth spread across her hands once more, she turned back to face the other girl in the room as she took another sip of the coffee her eyes watching the girl carefully.

The words leaving Rii's mouth made Alexis smile a little as she put the coffee cup down. She wasn't too harsh and mean to the people she knew, but at the same time she wasn't exactly the most loving and nicest person to them either except for a few exceptions. "Well it's quite a surprise an underclassmen and a senior rooming together.. but I'm not complaining" she replied, using the 1st person tense. Alexis did seem to find the whole speaking in 3rd person quite obscure then again it was something different, and who didn't want to be unique?

Passing one of her charming smiles, Alexis held her coffee cup with one hand and pointed toward the door "Mind closing that?" she asked in a sweet tone, more genuine than she did with her former roommate. She had noticed the bags in the girls hand, but walking that length didn't seem necessary to Alexis and that too why when there was someone closer to it than her.

The last comment to leave Rii's mouth followed by laugh, made Alexis shrug a little "We'll have to see about that" she replied with a more diplomatic answer rather than anything else. Someone as hyper as Rii, and someone who prefers tranquil and elegant style like Alexis didn't seem to be a perfect match but Alexis knew Ceridwen quite a bit through Elijah, so she was willing to try at least. Maybe she could finally keep a roommate longer than just a few months.
