Introduction

A boy.
A wolf.
A legend for all time.

Torak is alone: wounded, terrified and on the run. His father lies dead, slaughtered by a demon bear. His only ally is an orphaned wolf cub...

In Wolf Brother, Torak finds himself alone in the Forest, when his father is killed by a demon-haunted bear. In his attempts to vanquish the bear, Torak makes two friends who will change his life: Renn, the girl from the Raven Clan, and Wolf, the orphaned wolf cub who will soon become Torak's beloved pack-brother.

Please read the rules carefully, and please enjoy. I will check on the book recently and I will know if you broke one.

Rules:
-Use the language (Years = Summers etc.)
-Join if you read the book. No point if you haven't.
-If you are a wolf (Only allowed to be a wolf or human) then use Wolf's point of view (Fire = Beast-That-Bites-Hot etc.)
-Don't make up your own clan.
-Try and use their materials. They didn't have metal in those days. Or proper clothes.
-This is a role-play so you can change a little but not much.
-Enjoy

'What have I done now?' the wolf cub asked. His pack seemed Not-Breath. He was out playing when the Fast-Wet killed his pack. He was the naughiest one. 'Why won't you play with me?' he asked his pack-brothers, floating in a puddle.

The wolf cub was cold and hungry. His pack was Not-Breath. That means he is lonely. Hoping it's a trick the wolf cub whined some more. He sighed.

Torak looked down at his father, tears in his eyes. He heard the roaring of the bear and nodded silently, picked the knife of his father, and went to the river to get some water. He bent down over the river and came back, but stopped halfway as he seemed to see the bear. He now knew his father was dead, and that he was all alone. for his life, he dropped the leaf with water and ran away into the opposite direction of the bear.

The wolf cub lapped up some Still-Wet. It tasted bad. After searching, the wolf cub ate some grass and a couple of spiders. Then he howled. Howling made the wolf cub feel better because it reminded him of the good times he had with the pack. Then he smelt wolf. He stopped his howling. He couldn't see very well but he could hear it coming this way. But the strange thing was that it also smelt of not-wolf. He whined loudly, a greeting, wishing that this wolf will bring him some food.

Torak was exhausted once he stopped. He looked around, then thought of his father. He looked at the knife of his father and sighed. He was alone, all alone. Then, he heard a howl, of what seemed like a wolf cub. His father had learned him about wolves. The wolf cub whined also and Torak cocked his head. He followed the sounds of the wolf and found the cub. He looked down at the cub silently, not knowing what to do with it.

The wolf cub was confused. This was a strange wolf because it walked on its hind legs. The fur on its head was black, and so long that it reached right down to its shoulders. And the strangest of - it had no tail! Yet it smelt of wolf. The wolf cub whined, hoping he will do something and give him food. He trotted to the Slow-Wet and lapped up some. This tasted better.

When the wolf cub finally awoke, he was hungry. Hoping Tall-Tailless would give him food, the wolf cub nibbled his ears and licked his nose. Nearly giving up, the wolf cub started at the ashes of The-Beast-That-Bites-Hot. He poked his nose but yelped in surprised when it bit him. It bit him on his nose! Whining in terror the wolf cub ran back to Tall-Tailless and hide under his long hair.

The wolf cub grew tired, he never walked this long, but he didn't want to lose his pack-brother. He started lagging behind, trotting every few moments to catch up. Tall Tailless stopped earlier, he was grateful for that, but then he carried on. He yawned, stumbling, but still determined to carry on.

As the Light came, Wolf woke up and saw that Tall Tailless was still walking. Feeling how tired he was, Wolf placed his paw on his fur-less chest to let him slow. He needed to rest. He also whined 'sleep'. Then Wolf went off for a small hunt. Though he was still weak, Wolf was getting stronger.

Collectibles
