“Take care Kali, let’s hang out more next time! Drinks on me!” Tatsuda waved at her as she decided to leave them. Well now it was a duo for the time being. Well! Time to hit the bar! Of course she was going to drink lightly, getting a hangover was never fun. And it was not fun even in a robotic body, even if they could take a train, their brain ain’t gonna take a bit of overkill on the drunk ness. Eh...They should be fine, worst case scenario they pass out together at the bar...Actually that does not sound good...Regardless, they will burn that bridge after crossing it.

"See ya later, Kali!" Aoi said. She then grabbed Tatsuda and they then headed towards the train station.

It was a short walk to the train station. Aoi checked the time table. For where they were going it was three stops and would cost 250 yen per person or 2.5 credits. "Well the last train back is at 10:30pm. If we miss the last train it is either walking or a taxi. Walking shouldn't be too back since it is only two and a half kilometers and I doubt we will get exausted physically with these bodies." Aoi said as she transferred the credits to the ticketing machine and received the tickets.

"Next train comes in five minutes and stops at platform two." She said.

As Ali paid for the tickets, Tatsuda gave a small nod as this was the last train. “Won’t be the worst thing. We were kicking back and relaxing on beds for a long time.” She laughed as she followed behind her to the platform. All the while thinking.

“I’m not much of a betting person, but what’s the chances of a guy trying to pick up Kali? It’s still strange being in these bodies. I mean sure we may be more machine than human but...I think some people are into machines. I don’t know what’s the ‘hip’ thing. You know, playing baseball did not mean trying to solve calculus. Nor did it involve following the latest trends.” She asked curious.

"If you mean picking up Kali in the literal sense, then it must be a bodybuilder as we are at least 100 kg heavy in these bodies." Aoi giggled. "But yeah, there are bound to be people who would hit on her sometime. Guys like to make compliments towards pretty women."

"The next train will arrive shortly." The announcer said.

"I bet there would be guys hitting on us while we are out. How would you feel about it, accidentally been turned female and all? I personally wouldn't mind but I wouldn't really be swayed towards a closer relationship. I am happy being single at the moment." Aoi continued.

“Honestly, gonna be weird. Mind of a guy, body of a woman. If I were to go back to work in my original job, everyone would flip out at this. The one who helped train them in boxing is now a robotic lady that could lift a truck and looks good. Not sure what to do when it comes to that really. I’m more of a freind person than deep relationships. Easier that way at the end of the day, and there’s no need to have to go into a relationship.” Tatsuda replied as he looked at the ceiling when the announcer declared the train to be arriving shortly.

“I mean, I like women. Not like barriers of gender stops anyone from true love. Still, if my parents could see me now I’m sure they would be surprised at my luck, and surprised how their son is now a woman that does not age physically anymore. I would be surprised if these bodies could change by themselves but we need to go to a store and buy parts like a walking car. Jeeze...A lot to take in within a single day...” She sighed.

Right when Tatsuda finished talking the train arrived. They got on as soon as the doors opened.

"In three stations we need to get off again." Aoi said.

"But yeah, I am just hoping to have a good time and that these bodies allow us to at least get a little drunk. You can probably get drunk better the more organic brain you still have, so I might not be able to get as drunk as you. But I am still hyped to get some food." Aoi said.

"Still good at least, we can get buzzed still, taste food and other things, have yet to test out if we can feel things with our hands or body. I mean...Its like a situation if you had a knife in your back and never felt it. Gonna be bad if we cant feel something up with our body." She spoke stepping onto the train.

"But at least your the smartest of the group when it comes to matters like these. I was basically a meat head anyways." She chuckled a bit as she took a spot on the train. "So getting insight on matters like these is very good. I mean, we were all in the same vehicle anyways so we were friends in another body at one time. So I guess opposites connect."

"Probably." Aoi said.

The train was pretty full but it was still early and around rush hour. After a short ride they were at their station and got out. At Tateishi station, you could hear the typical chirping over the speakers and the bustle that was similar to that of a lively small town.

Since it was late afternoon, most places were still open and the bars had started to open up.

"I feel like having a beer first and some fingerfoods like tori karaage." Aoi said as she surveyed the area for an open bar that may have those things. "What do you feel like drinking and eating, Tatsuda." She asked him.

After stepping off the train along with the hustle and bustle of the crowd. "I'll also have a beer and probably something simple. Maybe some hot wings with it." She replied as she followed next to Aoi. "And looks like the day is still good. Plenty of places to hit before the day is out. But right, lets drink and have some fun, then...What should we do afterwards? We'll have to take the train back to the apartments. "Cool, let's check out our options then." Aoi said. They walked down the main pedestrian area and came by some bars that had just opened but ultimately decided on one that already had patrons in it. It was a small bar with two people in it already and there was a slight smell of grilled meat coming from it.

"This looks good." Aoi said. She looked at the menu and it was mostly either cold food or grilled food. "I will have some torikawa." She said to the owner. "And a pint of Ebisu beer."

Heading to one of the bars with some patrons already inside, following behind Aoi she looked over the menu as well before deciding on her order as well. "I'll take some chicken wings, and I'll have the same drink she is having." She motioned at Aoi as she decided on her bar meal before taking a seat. "Small place, but not bad. Kind of quiet and chill. And looks like it does barbeque as well by the smell of it. I did eat a lot of meat when I exercised, had to work off the calories every day...And now I don't have to worry about getting fat...Or skinny..." Tatsuda joked with a chuckle.

"Let's see how quickly I can get drunk or how much I need to feel it a bit. I probably have a means of measuring blood alcohol too." Aoi said before downing the pint of beer in one go. It was as if she didn't even gulp but like she dumped it into a drain. It even sounded a bit like it.

"After this in a normal human body, I would have a blood alcohol level of 0.03%. My real blood alcohol level is only half of that. The effects are negligible. It seems I will have to drink insane amounts to get drunk in this body. For you it may be simpler since you still have more organic brain tissue than me." Aoi said to Tatsuda.

"Those bodies?" Another patron said. Aoi then explained to the patron what was up: "Well we have cybernetic bodies after being in a severe vehicular accident that could have killed us. So we are still testing our capabilities so we can adapt to a semi normal life again."

The patron nodded. "That is understandable and interesting. I expected cyborgs to look more obvious, like androids."

(Dangit I'm so sorry, I thought I posted but looks like it did not post!)

As Aoi began to test the effects of the beer on her body...Well...Brain at this point, she noted that after drinking the whole beer down she had an almost negligible effect from one drink. Of course that's because her brain was more well fried...She commented that her brain probably had more brain matter which meant an easier time to get drunk...It would still be hard of course.

Of course one of the patrons overheard their conversation and commented about them being cyborgs. And saying that they would be more obvious than Androids. "In my experience, my version of cyborgs have robotic arms and eyes that shot lasers. But you would think androids would be harder to distinguish. Still, guess they wanted to keep the look more humanlike I guess. More conferrable for others and yourself I guess..." Tatsuda commented as she shrugged.

(Sorry, I had health problems this past week.)

As time went by, they were having a great time at the bar with the other patron. Aoi had down two pints of beer, a bottle of sake and a bottle of hard liquor, yet she only had a light buzz. "Well this sucks for me. There must be a better way to boost euphoria for me." Aoi said. "Tatsuda how about we switch bars and maybe go down to the shots bar? Its supposed to be a good club that is open until morning. Otherwise we have a bar with darts and a more traditional bar that is often frequented."

As time passed, Tatsuda continued to have the repeat of the same drink, downing at least 3 pints since she still had her more carful drinking manners so she did not get shitfaced drunk by mistake. Because hangovers are never fun. So as such she was just feeling a slight fuzzy feeling that came with just a slight buzz. "Well, I don't mind one bit. Would be fun to play darts...Even with some super strength, if you are not good with darts you'll just miss. So this should be fun." She gave a small grin, some game of darts sound fun. And more locations mean more fun.

"I have more the feeling that after the first three throws, I will be getting only bulleyes. But that might be cheating, memorizing a movement and calculating how much a draft might influence the throw." Aoi said. "We can still go and if that happens, I will try to exclude calculations and try to see if human judgement is completely functional with me." She giggled. There were moments where she seemed to think a lot like a machine, but tried to keep it in balance. If she was completely a machine, who knows if she would still have a personality or at least a different one.

So they said goodbye to the other patrons and headed across the level crossing to the dart bar.

It was more of a lounge than a bar with couches, three dart machines, a couple TV monitors and karaoke control pads on the tables and counter. "Just you two?" The bartender said. "Welcome. May I offer you a Calpis-high?" "Sure and we would like to play some darts." Aoi said.

"Jeeze, hearing you say that makes me think your like those robots on television...You don't need to be a professor in geometry and physics to throw a dart at a board. Its like throwing a pebble, you don't need to think that hard to pick it up and toss it. Just relax terminator." Tatsuda laughed a bit as she pat her back as they arrived at the dart bar.


Once there, the bartender asked them if they wanted some Calpis-high. "I'll think on it, but I'm here to play some darts as well. Should be fun to play while the night is still young." She replied.
