Races

Grauland

ImageHumans: In appearance the humans of Reichstadt are slender from nature, they are tall and have smooth features. Their hair is either black, brown and in the rare cases silver-white. Blond is simply a hair colour that never has been seen on a citizen of Reichstadt. The men have different hair styles but the general popular way to have it is letting it grow and having small braids and/or a ponytail. Though some women carry their hair the same way as men, some women prefer a modern and eye-catching haircut. These are mostly made by having smooth black sticks put into their hair creating unexpected forms with their hairs, once even one looking like a bird nest.
ImageBut what distinguishes the Seelenfrei even more from the other races is their clothing, being a culture of prudence no skin may be uncovered, even the bare skin of the lower neck and/or shoulders is considered indecent, and thus they have an abundance in layers of clothing. The men wear tight warm pants which disappear into the pair of warm boots they wear. The boots are generally made out of a combination of leather and fur, engraved with silver patterns. They wear broad-sleeved shirts which are bound to their arms by wrist- and arm bands made out of either leather or rope. The neck piece of the shirt is long and tight around the neck, concealing the neck prudently. Over this shirt they generally wear a big belt around their middle which is engraved with silverware. And as last piece of clothing they have a long warm coat, which has only sharp corners as ends. The coat again has silverware on the borders of the fabric. And as last an occasional hat seals the outfit.
ImageWomen wear warm dark stockings under their skirts or dresses, which are all slightly broad and generally black with silver. though you could see red as secondary colour here and there as well. The skirt or dresses all end in sharp corners and are often partly covered by the long coat the women wear. As a chest piece women wear a fabric corset which has either fur covering their breasts or a neck piece that spreads broad over it. Underneath their coat, that splits in the middle to reveal the other layers, the women wear sleeves separate from their chest piece, made of soft fabric it reveals the slender arm form. These sleeves are mostly tight around the upper-arm, which makes it reveal a small part of skin from the shoulder to the armband of the sleeve. All in all the women are creative with their layers and the playfulness of hinting to their female forms.
ImageThe citizens of Reichstadt invest all their time in raising their talents and work to perfection, in the hope to become a paragon of community and thus granted the gift of immortality by becoming a Seelenfrei.
ImageSeelenfrei: In appearance the Seelenfrei do not differ much from the citizens of Seelenstadt. Exceptional are the ice-blue eyes of the Seelenfrei, further they share the same build and clothing style however they tend to exaggerate all their clothing. Skirts and dresses are extravagantly broad and men however share a more religious appearance, carrying the white signatures of their church and often capes of priesthood. The grand Father, the Faith Keeper Sarren is however the only one wearing a complete white outfit, engraved with silverware and red-lines to show the signature of their Godt.
ImageIn capabilities the Seelenfrei are quicker, stronger and a lot more nimble than humans in general. They have their limits however, in direct sunlight they are weakened, becoming weaker than an average human. Also they are weak against fire which lights them up like a candle.
ImageNow there have been rumours among their kind that there are certain artefacts that grant them immunity to this effect of the sun and fire. But till now they have only remained rumours. Because of this weakness the Seelenfrei generally do not leave their majestic Cathedrals or the immense forest they live in. However they send out a group of traders every 5th day of the week, selling their silver and other wares at the merchant villages close to the forest.
ImageThe other limitation of the Seelenfrei is that they lose their ability of using magic, due to losing their life-force to channel elements; only the talent from their human life will remain.

Hellenia

ImageHumans: In appearance the Hellenia differ from one city to the next, the country knows many villages and farms which are of course dressed like farmers and villagers, though one marking feature is worth mentioning, pure blooded Hellenians are blond with blue or green eyes. Because of the grand amount of people travelling through Hellenia however you will see all kinds of colours hair and skin. Soldiers are dressed in armour with engravings resembling gods or their insignia, and they all carry a round shield and a spear with the rough length of 7 feet. Omperian soldiers however possess a square shield, which is around 6'2" long and a rough 2 feet broad. Omperian soldiers carry short swords and generally prefer crossbows above longbows. Senate members are dressed in white toga or in their ceremonial outfit of their country and/or function. The Hellenian humans are known for their rough strength, endurance, and love for beer. The women are known for being well bestowed in their forms and are popular among both foreign as local men. Next to this it’s common knowledge that the best magicians live or at least studied at Omperus and it is no wonder that most magicians are Hellenian by origin.
ImageDelorians: This is a race rarely seen outside their of their tribes in the forest at the west coast of Hellenia. Their appear like human-feline hybrids, possessing colourful fur instead of human-skin, a pair of catlike ears and a tail makes them unique in Cy'Rell. Currently this race is still very primitive, though they possess the ability to speak and to perform magic, they still are bound by their instincts to hunt. They generally keep to themselves. Due to their animal instincts and their athletic figure they are known for their speed and ferocity. Once every so many years one has been seen in the major cities, adapting to Hellenian ways. However these events are solitary and rarely occur. Interesting fact: There is a female Delorian candidate in the Senate.

Tulban

ImageCity Humans: The appearance of the clothing is already depicted in the province description, but I have to mention that Tulbanians are famous for their red and ginger hair,
often combined with red or green eyes; their skin is slightly darker than that of the Hellenians and they are elegant in appearance. The women are often very slim and exotic where the men tend to have an athletic build and sometimes even bulky. The Kahn himself is rumoured to be massively build and have a tremendous amount of red hair. However these remain rumors because he is always veiled in the invisible fabric. It is rumoured that the most stealthy assassins and thieves originate from Tulban because of their athletic abilities and subtle behaviour.
ImageDesert Humans: Often fully covered with exception of their red eyes they appear is almost ghosts in the sand, very talented in their survival skills and to move through miles of sand these men are hardened hunters and never to be underestimated. Much is unknown about this race since they keep to themselves.
Malanians: With their dark skin they are fond to wear gold in both their clothing as jewellery, they are also fond of colourful tattoos. Malanians are great Merchants and Entertainers, they are talented in manipulating people with their charms and talents. As warriors they tend to rely on scimitars and crossbows. Another talent they like to use when hunting, men or animal, is poison.

Nippolia

ImageAs depicted before the Nippolians do not share much in their appearance and race with exception of their elite armors and strange hairstyle, they use shave patterns to show off where they are garrisoned and what rank they possess. They also appear arrogant to many people but this has more to do with the fact they always walk with confidence of their skills and talents. Nippolians are the greatest strategists and are specialised in swords and longbows. They are often blunt in attitude which is especially difficult for some of the subtler cultures like Tulbanians.
ImageGodians: These small creatures are often dressed in miner outfits and jewellery, proud on their own accomplishments they tend to show off their riches. In combat they are pretty much weaker than the other races but they possess the greatest affinity for elemental bending and magic. There also been rumours of a Godian warrior clan that would hide in the mountains this is however still unproven.

Twilight Spears

ImageTaurons: Huge beasts that grow past seven feet and appear like gigantic bulls on two hoofs. They are barbaric warriors who rely on sheer strength to rip their enemies apart. They also like to eat humans above anything else. Though strong they are not very smart and controlled often by other unholy creatures. Among Taurons themselves there are tribes which are spread across the Spears. While during the great darkness they had been organized, they are nowadays often nothing more than easy provoked and chaotic splinter groups. Yet they remain great in numbers, demanding constant vigilance at the borders of Nippolia.
ImageNecromancers: Those abusing magic to bring the dead back to life are cast out and pursued in all provinces. As such they have often found their hail among the Spears, hiding in caves or selfmade homes. It is rumored some Necromancers found ways to control Taurons under their command, but this could just as well been dead Taurons swayed by their dark spells.
ImageSea Serpents: These immense creatures roam the seas, that are cast in the shadow of the Twilight mountains, destroying a great many ships of any size. They are feared by many and are the main cause for the little amount of trade between Cy’Rell and Kwa’Rell. It is rumored among Sailors that Jormundgard, the massive world serpent also lives in these seas.
ImageFen Wolves: Told to be the offspring of the mighty god-wolf Fenrir, these wolves roam the fens hidden among the mountains. The fen-wolf is immense compared to the Grauenland Wood-wolf, as they are capable of growing a stunning 45 inches tall and more than 7 feet in length(head to tail). They are ferocious, been known to attack human groups who dare to travel through the Twilight mountains. They usually live in packs of only 4 to 6 members in contrast with their Grauenland nephews who can have packs of 20 to 30 members.
ImageNidhoggr: Unknown to the Cy’Rell world these creatures rule over the Twilight Spears, humanoid in appearance yet scaled in a silver-like skin these creatures live on the souls of their victims. Victims after an attack end as husks of bone and skin, all their intestines absorbed in the process. Among the Nidhoggr themselves is much conflict and there have been great millenia where Nidhoggr made it their goal to inconvenience the life of each other as much as possible.
ImageHal: There was a single moment in history where all Nidhoggr joined forces, this was under the influence of the mighty Hal who was the birth mother of the Twilight itself and the massive invasion it brought to Cy’Rell millennia ago; stealing millions of souls while doing so. Hal disappeared shortly after the joined forces of Cy’Rell had forced the Nidhoggr and their Tauron slaves back into the mountains, ending the unholy alliance.

Imehal: Pest.

Imehal: Oh yeah.
Imehal: Lemme just prop that halo on your horns for you.
