St. Gabriel's Academy

An old conservative school with distinct Catholic influences. It used to be a very strict school with intense regulations but, ever since it saw a decline in popularity along with its neighbor, it started to open up to a more modern crowd, with the administration starting to be a little more lenient with its rules on things like clothing and hairstyle.

Its campus is very large and wide, allowing several other facilities to be stationed there such as its own school supply shop, chapel, a huge library building, a small park and on-campus dormitories in order to accommodate students coming from far-off places. Due to having stood for almost 200 years, it takes pride in its old, Gothic look with students remarking that studying in this place is like taking a step back in time.

For a long time, it used to be an all-girl's school upon reopening after the end of the war but has since changed into a co-ed school around fifteen years ago. Because of it, the ratio of girls outnumber the boys 10:1.

Thanks to its large library and hundred-year old facilities, it mainly specializes in teaching History, Literature and Fine Arts.

Kurogane Technical Institute

Kurogane is a secular, government-run institute built in order to accommodate the growing student population in the city. As the city grew in notoriety, Kurogane manages to maintain a reputable status by virtue of its academic merits, as it is generally considered the city's best school, earning top marks in ranking exams.

Its campus, while still quite big, is smaller than the neighboring St. Gabriel's. To compensate, Kurogane's buildings are rather tall, almost like a skyscraper in height, further giving the impression that Kurogane is a very modern school. It has a big school store (bigger than St. Gabriel's) though it lacks a chapel and on-campus dormitories. Instead, they have a partnership with privately-run dormitories outside its campus, entitling Kurogane students various privileges should they choose to stay in any one of those dorms.

Enrollment is strict within Kurogane, requiring students to pass an entrance exam and once they got in, maintain an above average grade in order to continue studying. Yet, this only encouraged students to strive to study here more, leading to its ever-growing population.

With its state-of-the-art facilities, this school specializes in teaching Mathematics, Science and Applied Arts.

Poison Arrow - It is generally considered bad luck to build a house on a point where three streets converge. This is due to the intense flow of energy hitting the house on all three sides, especially if there isn't any landscaping that can divert the energy flow.

In this RP, the two schools are situated directly on the respective ends of the T-Junction with a hospital completing the trinity of buildings on the respective points, causing each others' energy flow to affect one another in some form.

Music Hall Rumor - There is a rumor around the Hall of Music where their coordinator, a man simply known as the Maestro is involved in various disappearances of some female students. The people pointed to him as the source when they realized that everyone who disappeared were all students he failed and supposedly given "special assignments" to compensate for their grade, leading some to think it could be sexual harassment or even murder.

He was discovered murdered in cold blood behind the alley near the intersection of Roads 5 and 7, with his heart ripped out of his chest. Some say that he was killed by one of the missing girl's boyfriends. Others like to think that all his sins had just caught up with him and the true perpetrator of his death will lie unknown forever.
