Heading Home (Wheel of Time, OPEN)

It was late afternoon and she'd just left Tar Valon on her way home to visit her Father. She had only been Aes Sedai for a couple years and it was getting near the time of her children's birthday. She'd come to Tar Valon only about six years ago unknown to herself at the time pregnant. She had long brown hair and the golden eyes of a wolf. It was like to be a long and rather dangerous journey since she had no Warder and had decided to not tell anyone where she was actually going. The land had been unsettled with the coming of the Dragon and the like. The Tower itself was split and there were two claiming the right of the Amryllian Seat. She tossed her head frowning. She personally sided with the rebels which is part of why she was leaving the tower. In the chaos of the new Amryllian coming to power and several people leaving the tower along with the suspcions of the Black Ajah being real, she'd managed to sneak off. She was walking instead of riding since it would be easier to travel as a woman who'd married and just lost her husband.

In truth, she was a widow. Even if a formal marriage had never been performed. She still considered Rieran her mate. Or she had and it was his twin children she was going to see. She wore a long brown dress and a white blouse with an old green shawl around her shoulders. Her Great Serpent ring was tucked into a pouch on her belt. She had managed to slip out and was beyond the city now so she turned in the direction of Andor. She had a sturdy worn pack on her back and a staff in her hand. She could fight as she'd insisted on learning from some of the Warders and their Students. But she wasn't a very good fighter. Thankfully she didn't have the ageless look of an Aes Sedai yet. She was quite strong in the Power along with being wolf kin which she hoped would help her return home.
