I have to be completely honest. I had never heard of Within Temptation until you started to talk about them here. i just looked up a few of their song, particularly the ones you guys mentioned. I have to admit, that one "Truth Beneath the Rose" is pretty sick. So, thank you for introducing me to this group.

I heard of them, but this was my first time really listening to them, so I agree. hey, i can't find an official video for beneath the rose, any of you guys know any good ones? youtube only had lyrics.

well, like i said, youtube only has those lyric videos, where you can sing along to the song, but it was a still frame of a pale red rose, and not an actual vid.

Huh? the visual thing is supposed to be real? I seriously thought it was a metaphorical or imaginative thing of your character's, to be honest. I don't want to sound like a dick or anything, but that part did kind of confuse me. Could you make that into a personal thing for your character? It just seems that you affecting my (and the others) character like that seems a little bit like God-modding to me. I would really appreciate it if you did.

that's the thing, its only a visual, it does nothing physical. For some reason, when my character plays, as i have said in earlier posts, there's a weird visual effect that mesmerizes most of the audience. it doesn't effect the others who play with him, though they too can see it. If i were to give it scientifically, his playing triggers something in a person's psyche and allows them to actually feel what hes playing, they can see it, smell it, etc. It doesn't do anything else. Its the concept that music can bridge the gap to a persons sense's, when you hear that one song that seems to depict the exact feeling you are experiencing at that moment? you are less likely to forget it. Im only taking it a step further, and letting it activate to actually really affect the other sense. this only happens when he plays see, and not any other time. Can we see what Demented thinks of this first? Demented, whats your input to this?

Welll hmm I like the idea of it. Anna's kind of in her own world right now XD so pretty sure she isn't going to notice too much haha. But if it bothers other people then I would reccomend changing it. We can see how Syn and Wing think about it first.

Right, ill wait for their input. I think I might go more indepth on this later in the rp, im going to need to think about this.

I kind of like it :3 It'd be interesting, that's for sure. But, you know, it might take some of the lime light away from Ellen and her poor calloused fingers :(

It doesn't bother me too much. I don't mind good visual effects, but it just seemed a little strange to me, is all. As long as I can choose if my character "sees" these things or not, it doesn't really bother me. It mostly depends on the others.

you can choose to have your character have no reaction to it, MH, but can I ask if you can, i dont know, maybe incorperate it into say, a conversation maybe, after the show, when the bands finished playing, and we are all relaxing at the bar? maybe ask my guy about it? As I said, it doesnt have as profound an effect on those he plays with, though they see it, they arent as affected by it as the audience is, who thanks to the effect, are riveted to the band, as they go about what they usually do.
