Jaron nodded, "Keep your pistol ready and if we are boarded, now is the time to shoot at people. Try not to shoot our own people." He smirked at Brooklyn.
She returned the smirk to Jaron as she brandished her pistol, patting it lightly.
"It's you I'm more worried about," she stated. "Sure you know how to aim the damn thing?"
"I'll stay here." Rachelle said. "I can help anyone who gets hurt."
Her eyes turned to the medic and she nodded. It would be best if she stayed here in case the wounded start showing up. Her eyes turned to the others.
"Anyone else care to join?" she asked.
Truthfully, she was hardly in any shape to go. But she'd be damned if she get left behind.

"Anyone else care to join?" Brooklyn asked.
A few soldiers volunteered, as well as some colonists brandishing some older weapons. Jaron turned to Brooklyn and frowned at her injuries, "You should stay here and rest."

"I agree. I told you to stay off the leg." Rachelle said. She wasn't sure if the woman cared though. She seemed willing to risk furthering her injury to see action.
