Tabletop gaming on RP Gateway?

So, I think from my post count, it can pretty safely be said I'm a noob here; but an introduction thread can wait for tomorrow. Hello!

I was surprised to see that while there is a message board for discussion of roleplaying 'mechanics', a lot of this is merely setting information for various freeform. I just wanted to ask, is there much of a tabletop scene here? And if so, where would I go about advertising myself as a player, or finding those here who tend to be quite regular in their GMing?

There are some people who do tabletops or want to try tabletop gaming on RPG but not sure who they are. I might be interested myself as I've never done it and it seems more or less fun. Big fan of the Anima: Beyond Fantasy series.
