A musical instrument or a normal everyday item. By weapon I meant since all spirits have a power and be used if played or used in a way. In human form they can fight with their power as well. An example; If the instrument is used to create passionate feelings or a mood, the spirit might have the ability to manipulate flames etc. if that makes any sense at all haha
