I have been in the service of Sultan for many, many years. It is my task to write down all that is decided. My father did this before me, and his father before him. We have faithfully recorded and seen much. Sultan is our lord and master, as Buddallah is to him. And all this, is as it should be, we are his children, Sultan loves us all, we would conquer the Galaxy so that all would know his wise rule, even if Sultan did not ask this, we would do it. His enemies will be stuck down, night and darkness will take them, space will be stained red... All this will come to pass, for Buddallah has decreed it... So it is written, so it shall be.
It has been Six Hundred and Thirty Four Years, Three Months, Two Weeks, and Six days since the Prophet led us away from the old Empire, and we prosper under the Ottoman Dynasty. Each named for one of the Islamic States of Old Earth. We have already been through the Almohad and Rum Dynasties, but I have stated this earlier.
Great Sultan, Burali Ottoman, Burali the Great, Burali the Wrathful, Burali the Conqueror, His Highness, of the Ottoman Dynasty, is of the Zenshi'a sect, thus our military and borders are greatly expanded during his wise rule. The Buddislamics may not be the most Technologicaly advanced or trained nation, but we are the most loyal, the most numerous, the most fervent, the most willing to die for our country.
Branches of Armed Forces
Grand Interplanetary Navy- Every ship is expected to do it's holy duty. Along with the Ground Forces and mass of numbers, victory is undeniable.

Armed Ground Forces of the Caliphate- Every man, woman, and teen in the Ground Forces is expected to sacrifice themselves for the greater good if need be, but live to fight another day if possible.
Grand General: Sultan
Army of the Guardians of the Budd-Islamic Revolution- English-speaking media usually use the term Budd-Islamic Revolutionary Guards. ("BIRG") The BIRG is separate from, and parallel to, the other arm of the Caliphate's military. The BIRG is equipped with its own ground forces, navy, air force, intelligence, and special forces. It also controls the Basij force.

Mutaween- The Mutaween means "volunteer" in Arabic is commonly used as a casual term for the government-authorized or -recognized religious police or clerical police. The Mutaween in the Caliphate are tasked with enforcing Sharia as defined by the government, specifically by the Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (CPVPV). They have the power to arrest unrelated males and females caught socializing, any one engaged in homosexual behavior or prostitution; to enforce Islamic dress-codes, and store closures during the prayer time. They enforce Muslim dietary laws, prohibiting the consumption or sale of alcoholic beverages and pork, and seize banned consumer products and media regarded as un-Budd-Islamic.

Ansar al-BuddIslam- Ansar al-BuddIslam is a Shi'a Budd-Islamist group, promoting a radical interpretation of Budd-Islam and Jihad. At the beginning of the interstellar Jihad it influenced about a dozen minor worlds. It has used tactics such as suicide bombers and prohibited weaponry in its conflicts with the Infedels and Zensunnis.
