Question of the Day

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby VindicatedPurpose on Mon Aug 12, 2013 10:22 pm

Something new that came to my mind, I actually got the idea from Ask.fm. Basically, I will start with a question. A random question issued to anyone. And anyone may answer it, with whatever answer they choose. You can explain your reasoning behind said answer, or not, choice is yours. Once you have answered it, you can post your question for the next user.

Rules:

- Keep it site appropriate, you know, keep RPG's rules in mind.

So let me begin...

What is your favorite month?

Like a stranger on a grate, or a skylark, or a taper, flying ever upward and knowing of love's satiety. Our dreams beyond the Sun and into the expanse of Night doth sound a quiet hymn.

That's a really tough one, but I think I'm going to say Italy. Food, scenery, excellent weather, the Mediterranean, a bunch of history and architecture, wine... need I go on?

You, your whole family, and a trained monkey are all having a poker game. Who wins, and who loses?

The winner would probably be an aunt of mine because she's really smart when it comes to gambling and casino games. I heard she earned a lot of money one time playing poker in a casino. The loser would probably be me because the only thing I know about poker is that getting 4 aces in a hand or a royal flush are very good things.

If you got to choose the theme for a theme park, what would it be?

B-movie horror flicks. Not only would it be entirely capable of scaring the living daylights out of somebody, but it would also be hilarious if you weren't the easily frightened type.

If you had to choose between having a cat or a dog for a pet, which would you choose?
I was formed in the shadows, in the void faster than light. Sheathed in darkness, the world expands, and I feel at home in a mystical place. When I close my eyes, and the void envelops me, I can fly, I can breathe in water and vacuum, I can change my shape and go anywhere I please, anytime I want. No information escapes me, for there was none to fall away in the first place; there is only peace.

A cat because you don't need to walk a cat, it knows to use a litter box, and they purr.

A car, because there are places I want/need to go. Not having a car currently, I'd appreciate having a mode of transit.

If you could stop war, would you, and how?

If you mean war in general, no I'd not stop it. War is too valuable to the earth to dispose of, as it is the single largest contributor to population control for humans. It is also too valuable to the human condition... war is the mechanic through which social change is implemented. That said, there are certain wars in history, and currently going on, that if I had the power I would stop them... and I'd do it by becoming an immortal god with the power to turn everyone's bullets into medical grade marijuana. And nuclear weapons into M&M's and Doritos.

What is the perfect number? and why?

Phi, or 1.618. Look it up, it's pretty neat. Not necessarily "perfect", though it would likely be the closest thing.

The noddle effect! When, you know, being sucked into a black hole. Spaghettification. Your matter gets unraveled like spaghetti.

Without using google, I am guessing 10^1,000 years. That's a whole lot of zeroes. Now let's try with Google: approximately 10^100 Years. Damn, so close. Well, not even remotely, but I mean it's like one more keyboard click away. C'mon.

Without Google, I'm going to guess Liechtenstein, because I don't remember the names of the small families that decided to have their own minicountry and divorced from the country they were originally in.

Google tells me Sealand.

It wasn't difficult, we were making lots of noise. Out of nowhere the equivalent of a Swat team ambushed us and ordered us to the ground. Cops must be trained how to be ninja's or something, because it seemed like they literally appeared from thin air. I asked em afterwards, and they said they were stalking us from the bushes for a while.

Birch beer, cause they made it from birch tree roots and bark.

This one's easy. Because they obviously understand that people care about property values. They don't want to make you look bad by pissing outside on your lawn or on your neighbor's lawn. If they did their business outside, the rating for your neighborhood would obviously go down. This is clearly why they choose to do their business inside, behind doors. They're only looking out for you. Of course, this only applies to dogs that do their business in doors. Those who do it outdoors...that's another story.

What is your moment?
