The entire day after Tristan, a lab rat at a human genetics experimentation lab known as Veritas, had escaped his young female savior Melissa, was spent running through the rain. At one point he had found himself safely in the Gambit's Bar to take a nap under a table next to the heat vent, but he wasn't able to stay long. Having escaped from the lab meant that hundreds of Agents were after him, so it only made sense that a group of them would have gone to the bar to search for him. Luckily though, Tristan had managed to escape the bar out the door to the side alley.
Men were already there, to his utter horror, ready to capture him on the off chance he was there and tried an escape. Boy they're smart. A small yelp escaped the young boys lips as the men advanced on him. He in turn made a dash in the opposite direction, his headband starting to droop over his eyes and make it hard to see, but he realized soon enough that it didn't matter if he could see or not, he was at a dead end. A horrible, scary dead end locked in by four armed and prepared agents for the lab facility he so desperately did not want to go back to.
His body was trembling as he fell to his knees on the ground, a throbbing sensation beginning to pound in his head as he felt his hands get hot under his finger-less gloves. He was going to black out, he could feel it coming rapidly, but luckily for the patrons of the area he was in, the men grabbed him and chained his hands and feet. He screamed out at the pitch of his weak voice, desperate for someone, anyone to help, but to no avail. A black SUV's trunk door opened and he felt himself tossed into it carelessly, colliding with the hard plastic floor brutally. His eyes, their red shade now portraying desperation, pain, and utter fear, gazed out the back at the last amount of dull light there was in the sky as the door slammed in front of him.
