When Sebastian yelled Blast off, Cazak gave the signal. The ship hovered up and blasted off into space. Once there you could see the four light-class escort battleships engaging a Leebineese battle group. On the viewer you could see a massive beam launch out of a Leebineese ship and hit a escort cruiser. The cruiser started to explode and was cut in half. Fire spewed out, you could see Darkan bodies floating dead in space. Once those appeared Cazak turned off that viewer. "Get us out of here, the Leebineese dreadnought will rip us to shreds!"

Then the On board AI, codenamed Kitarak, started to talk. engines are powering up for entry into hyperspace travel. As the engines powered up another light escort cruiser was destroyed by 4 Leebineese destroyers. Shards of metal flew outwards into space. Engines ready, jumping to hyperspace! With that said, the ship seemed to become a line and then disappeared from sight. The remaining 2 light escorts followed, one was severely damaged, the other was lucky enough to get out of there with minor damage.

Then Cazak spoke. "I am sorry you had to see what the Leebineese do to surviving Darkan military vessels. Well, we got away, we will rendezvous with the rest of the Darkan fleet above Chitok, the last remaining stronghold of the Darkan. As far as we know, the Leebineese don't know about it yet." Then Cazak sighed and did something that surprised all of the Darkans aboard. He silently started to cry.

Cazak stopped crying quickly, trying to maintain his image as the leader, in Darkan culture, a leader must not show weakness. Then the ships arrived at Chitok the greeting they got was far from welcome. There was a massive fleet battle going on. The second the exited hyperspace they had to bank hard to the right, to avoid a blast from a Leebineese dreadnought. the battle was huge, Darkness shots flew everywhere from survivng Darkan vessels, almost every vessel started to form around the royal transport, but they were too late. A explosion rocked the royal transport. The back end of the ship was torn off. The AI spoke. Critical damage, all hands evacuate, all hands evacuate, i repeat all hands...... Then the voice died out. "Shit! Cazak grabbed Jazira, Lucario, Kyisha and Sebastian with twilight energy and flung them into his escape pod, then he rushed in with 4 Darkan marines. The escape pod closed and jettisoned. Out of the view port in the back you could see the bridge and the rest of the ship explode. Then two Leebineese fighters took chase for the escape pod. Darkan fighters came and intercepted them, before the Leebineese could get off a shot. The battle raged around them as they dropped to the surface.

The escape pod landed with a large thud. As they got out, two of the Darkan marines were gunned down by Leebineese Sun troops. But then they were killed by a hail of bullets. A company of Marines ran by them, some fell to Leebineese shots. Light and Dark bullets were flying all over the place. You could very well get hit by a stray bullet. As Cazak told everyone to follow him, a plume of dirt lifted up near them, followed by bright light. Leebineese Artillery was brought into the battle.

One of the Marines recognized Cazak and ran over. "Sir! we have to get you out fo here!" The marines escorted Cazak and everyone else back to the last remaining fort the Darkans had. They had one Darkan speeder ship ready for take off. If the fort should fall, they would use it to evacuate. The explosions of the battle finaly sounded only like small thuds once in the Head quarters room. There Cazak began to speak with Generals on the next course of action. Then Cazak turned to Lucario, Sebastian, Jazira, and Kyisha.

"Does anyone know what we should do? It seems hopeless strategically, should we evacuate or hold our ground?"

Jazira thought about the situation for a few moments, still trying to calm herself after running through explosions and having many near death situations. "What are the chances of survival if we hold our ground?" she asked. From what she was able to see, the Darkan were out numbered, and didn't have much of a chance, but she could have been wrong. "Are there any reinforcements we could call upon? Any alliances who could possibly help?"

Thomas entered shortly after Jazira. After running through the field to get to the fort with many near misses from unresulting light bullets. He was also out of breath. As he ran inside, went past Jazira and fell to the floor breathing heavilly before crawling to a nearby pole and lifting himself up. He was calm enough to reply to what he had heard from Jazira. ''No...We...Are alone... I think... Cazak, do we have any form of resistence? Any ground we can claim to help us in this battle!'' Thomas had regained his breath halfway through speech and had rushed to the door. Giving resistence by fireing at the Leebineese and surpressing them from coming any closer then they already were. This was getting impossible.

Sebastian found this pretty cool, just like any young child would. Lucario listened to what Cazak said, they where greatly outnumbered. He looked at the ground, then at Cazak" Light and Dark, when you think about it, are two even forces. Fighting back with your main artillery isn't going to do much. You need tech from other planets" Lucario explained

Dropping below the clouds, the monks' three Lotus fighters descended upon the battlefield with haste, making planetfall after having skated through the maelstrom in orbit. A few quick blasts from the four cannons at the side of the cockpit disable three Leebineese artillery. Nearing the ground, two of the Lotus fighters' bottoms begin to drop down further, revealing the legs of their Mechforms. The third one's entire body starts to segment. The individual pieces break away and realign into an upright form. They all lock back together as the cannon ends of the arms morph into hands, with the blaster in the center of the palm. The bottom of the legs change into shoeless feet complete with toes, completing the metal man. They all hit the ground hard, and rush towards the Sun troops.

They then begin to flank the Leebineese army, coming up behind them. Wasting no time, the Nalkir advancement blankets the enemy's ranks with fire, trapping them between the Lotus' and the Darkan troops. Lasers and beam cannons and missiles fly everywhere. One of the armless walkers turns to the main body of Leebineese and a red glow emanates from the cockpit. A loud but low frequency sound travels toward and crushes a dozen soldiers. A Leebineese artillery crests a hill and fires at the second walker's legs, sending it to the ground. Several personnel rockets send the cockpit in all directions. Unable to reach my fallen comrade in time, I kneel and take aim with my Buddha's Palm technique and a white hot stream of pure energy melts the artillery to the ground.

Cazak thought hard. "ah! we have darkan walkers! send them out and send out the fast tanks, rip the leebineese apart! and by the way, we do have an alliance, if only we could get in touch with them. They fought with the alliance against the kondactans thousands of years ago, their organization is still around but much weaker. I cant recall their name, but it will come to me. But be warned, there still is an enemy from those times around, we are not near their space but they are called Rildagonitans, they are insectoid and they will kill us all if we make them aware of our presence." The Cazak went and took his scythe. "come, we have to go, we must fight the leebineese, they are in the HQ, let us drive the filth out!" Cazak stormed out of the room scythe in hand and several balls of twilight ready to intercept any light bullets shot.

The armless Lotus walker felled light troop after light troop as Wor's advanced model concentrated on defense. The two-legged two-armed setup of his mech gave him far greater versatility. He ran here and there disabling Walkers of the Sun and blocking missiles with his concussion generator. Across the inter-channel that the monks' used to communicate, Worvhan screams, "Master, we must make it to the Darkan headquarters to help defend their troops. If they are lost, there will be no war to help win!"

A single grunt can be heard on the other end of the line.

"Ahh, Master, I've tapped our lines into the Darkan battlenet, we can now communicate with them and try to coordinate an attack." Both mechs trudge their way through the bloodbath, smashing Leebineese soldiers along the way. They come around the front of the headquarters when some Darkan heavy artillery and Walkers of the Abyss join the fray.

"Darkan walkers, this is Master Koruuga of the Nalkir home world. Could we be of assistance? I've lit up most of the mines hidden near the Leebineese war machine and have transferred the information to your data banks. I have intercepted a space-to-ground transmission that they are not sending more reinforcements to this location due to feeling secure in their position--heh, they think they've already won. If there was any time to push hard and show them they're wrong, now would be the time. Where is prince Cazak?"

"prince Cazak is in the HQ, expelling soldiers who got in. Of course you can be of assistance, send one of your men in and help guard the prince, the rest of you are needed out here, and hehehe, those arrogant bastards will pay!" There was silence for a bit and The walkers of the abyss started firing darkness bombs at advancing sun troops. When the blobs of darkness hit the ground, it created a wave that expanded about 300 feet in each direction, killing all sun troops in the area, and somewhat damaging vehicles. "how is the space battle going, we have word that the last surviving abyss dreadnought, the Horror of the Abyss was forced to retreat with it's battle group, how are other darkan fleet groups faring? As he asked the question a leg was shot out from underneath the walker and it collapsed, only to be shot by 3 heavy artillery shots and explode. The other walkers immediatly turned their attention and were firing, While Darkan infantry flooded out of the HQ screaming something that made everybody shiver.

"THE CROWN PRINCE HAS BEEN CAPTURED, THE CROWN PRINCE IS CAPTURED!!" as it was yelled light transports lifted off from the HQ, in one you could see Cazak in chains, anybody travelling with him would have been captured as well. One of the walker pilots started to have a nervous breakdown. "If the crown prince is captured, what chance do we have!? They will bring him to mazza, then all will be over!" The Darkan army continued to fight though, knowing they would lose, but they would fight to the last man.
_______________________________________________________________________________

after the prince was captured the leebineese suddenly withdrew from the battle. They evaced the planet and warped to a leebineese fortress planet, Chinkatora. The Darkan knew they needed save Cazak and any others who were captured so they formed up there full military strength, if this group fell, there would be no darkan military to fall back to, everybody knew the possible outcomes and ramifications of this battle, and they were prepared for every single one.

"When we got here, the dreadnought was in the process of jumping away. Most of its battle group was intact, albeit damaged. The remaining ships were using the wreckage to play guerrilla tactics in. There were a few destroyers and a dozen fighters, as well as a few ships I'm not familiar with. The Leebineese weren't actually winning, even if they did have more ships and far superior firepower." When the report of capture was made, and the light transports took off for orbit, Koruuga looked at Worvhan and he knew what he had to do.

Worvhan's advanced mech jumped into the air and began to fly by the rockets in its feet and on its back. It shifted midair into the Lotus flight mode and broke several sound barriers before exiting the atmosphere. Dodging the debris left by the battle, Worvhan covertly reached open space just in time to see the last Leebineese troop carrier jump away. He readied his own and laid in a course to follow the signature made by the massive fleet. His ships inner lights dimmed and his energy signature disappeared off the radar. The Lotus went to warp like a sightless breeze that was never really there.

When Koruuga's mech transformed, while it didn't have the same style that the advanced model had, anyone could tell he had more skill and finesse. He rendezvoused with the fleet in orbit after helping see to the Darkan troops get off the ground safely, defending them from the remaining enemy troops. The only thing that could be distinguished when Worvhan returned was the tiny spot in the universe where the stars no longer shown through his ship, for there was no radar blip, no warp signature to be detected. Koruuga had made sure Worvhan had mastered the skill of masking his presence before they left Nalkir.

"Master, Darkan troops, I know which ship Cazak is being held in. He and all his companions are in the brig on the Leebineese flagship, along with the enemy commander. At least we know which ship not to decimate, eh."

"Good job, pupil. Did you see how many ships they had?"

"Forgive me master, but I could only count some. The fighters are no match for us, as I glided along their main battle cruiser undetected, just about a hundred of those. They still have many more ships than us, but I sent a transmission to Nalkir the moment I got back to Chitok space. They have relayed they will meet us with a battle group of our own, including ten more Lotus'. Forgive us, Darkan commander, but our ships are not meant for heavy fighting. We have but one large battleship and several cruisers. I can say with certainty, however, that we will be able to keep those fighters off your backs, so that you may have yours concentrate on enemy battleship weak points."

"Keep your calm, pupil, do not make accusations about the future, which is always changing. Commander, it is most likely that the Nalkir reinforcements will only be able to stop most or maybe some of the enemy fighters, and we will have to contend with a few. Do your ships have transport capabilities? If you will permit, my protege and I can lead two groups of fighter squads in on their flagship. We will attempt to disable their shield generator so you can beam Cazak and his team back aboard our ships and jump away without incurring serious losses. I know the coordinates of a small moon with a breathable atmosphere many sectors from here which we can hide on. The planet itself is inhabited by a prewarp civilization, and is far from Leebineese controlled space."

The commander listened to what they had to say. "alright, we will beam him aboard, we can transport him once shields are down, as we use dark energy to transport and the leebineese have light energy shields. If you can keep fighters off our backs we have precision weapons on bombers that can pierce shielding, so the fighters off our back will greatly help. And any battle ships are welcome to join."

After that The Darkan fleet started warp, they would arrive to see the Leebineese waiting for them, with about 4 dreadnoughts, 12 battlecruisers, and 4 carriers. Not to mention the Planetary cannons on the surface of the planet. This was going to be one hell of a fight.

"Alright, commander, here are the coordinates of the planet and its moon," Koruuga replied.

As the Darkan engines spun up and leaped to warp, Koruuga opened a silent channel to just Worvhan. "When we get there, stay at my back and get in front of the two Darkan fighter fleets. Let the warp drop momentum carry us with them. Don't fire your engines or weapons until we have to. Hopefully they won't even see us till we're on top of them. Keep to maximum warp. Drop out of hyperspace a little ways back so that by the time they get to the battle they'll be right behind us."

The Lotus ships are extensions of a monk's body. They are only as powerful as the monk can muster. So while lacking in easy raw firepower and heavy armor, Lotus ships are fast even in the beginning of a monk's training, allowing them an augmented speed due to the their mental abilities. The two ships tore into hyperspace with blinding speed, and arrived a few minutes before the Darkan fleet or the Nalkir battle group. They got into position and kept themselves a secret until the last possible moment. The Darkan fighters got into formation. Being as the Darkans' entire technological base is darkness, they could pick out the Lotus ships with relative ease.

The Darkan fleet arrived just seconds before the Nalkir fleet, dotting the heavens with points of darkness closing in on the beacons of light generated by the Leebi.

(look like its just us for now, ill try and get others to join.)

The precise weaponry of the darkan took out 4 frigates right away, but the dreadnoughts suffered minimal damage and fired there most deadly weapon, the solar flare. It was the equivalent of 12 nukes, all filled to the brim with solar/light power. It hit a darkan frigate and expanded a large ball of pure light and energy about 10 miles in diameter. This knocked out several other darkan ships making them unusable for the time being. The other darkan ships immediately spread out and continued using precision weapons. the planetary cannons on the surface started to bombard fighter groups, as they were the most dangerous.

"hey, you lotus monks, we got word the flagship beamed cazak to the surface, hes in the stronghold. we are going to prep all military group for landing, were going to need you on the ground, its going to be a hell of fight. Good news is we outnumber them."

Just then the abyss dreadnought unlatched 12 transport ships, all carrying an assortment of vehicles and infantry groups. They all sped towards the surface of the planet and landed near a wall. There were reports of one transport being shot down before landing, but all others got their troops out. From space you could start to see the white explosions of light and black explosions of darkness on the surface of the planet. the fighting just rapidly expanded. The Darkan military got past the wall and was now fighting towards the stronghold, but they were halted and they built trenches. This was going to be a long battle.

Re: The Legacy Forgotten: Rise Of the darkan(Always accepting)

The ten Lotus fighters, led by High Monk Xovan, screamed into the battle scene, having slipped in behind all the Leebineese detection grids. Their combined firepower cost them three of the carriers, destroying some of the fighters that had yet to launch and some of the troops headed for the ground. The majority of the remaining fighters were being picked off by the Lotus' while a few headed to protect the dreadnoughts from Darkan bombers. Beams of light shot across the planet's view as the Lotus fighters massacred the Leebi. The remaining nine heavily trained Nalkir pilots left the practically stunned (and heavily damaged) enemy fighter groups to help protect the Darkan fighters and bombers.

The fleet commander signaled to Koruuga that the original plan was a no-go and to meet the Darkan troops planetside. "Alright commander. Worvhan, position yourself behind me. If we don't do something about this advancing dreadnought, there won't be a fleet to return to when we have Cazak." Worvhan came up behind his master's ship and locked onto the back of the hull, as Koruuga's cannons slid forward to a combined position.

"Master Xovan, please assist us in a combined effort, we're going to take out this dreadnought." For a few seconds, nothing happened, then the nodes at the ends of the cannons began to glow, as well as the points at the sides of the cannons. After thirty seconds, the light had reached the back of both Koruuga's and Worvhan's ships. A great beam of energy escaped from his cannons and both Lotus' went dark. Similar beams of light shot from two other Lotus' on the other side. The energy that escaped streaked across the night into the nearest Leebineese dreadnought. The enemy ship's energy began to fluctuate and disappear and the engines shut off. It veered heavily to the right and destroyed the two Light battlecruisers accompanying it. Only a few of it's cannons remained online, putting it in bad position.

Drained from the attack, Koruuga's Lotus was down and Worvhan took a few seconds to regain his consciousness, since he didn't give nearly as much energy to the assault as his master did. The pupil used some of his energy to bring Koruuga around enough to fly. They bolted through the debris left by the battlecruisers and avoided fire as best they could. "Master Xovan, can you spare a fighter to accompany us to the surface?"

"Helen, go with them." Helen took point to absorb the incoming fire, since Worvhan's ship was left with minimal shields, and Koruuga had none. The energy spent in the attack didn't return to either fighter until they exited the upper atmosphere and began their descent to the hell that awaited them. Their ships reformed into mech mode and landed on the surface with a dust flying thud.

As the Dreadnought started to explode the Leebineese had a flagship warp in. It had the same capabilities but the name unnerved the darkan and they fled.

The commander radioed the monks. "we had to warp out... we will return to extract you but... The Emporer Of Light just warped in..." The Emporer of Light was the personal flagship/worldship that Mazza would use. Mazza was the grand emporer of Leeby.

Mazza got ina dropship and went down to the surface. When he got therehe surveyed the battlefield. the Darkan were winning, they were penetrating into the fort. Mazza decided he would help in only one move. He lifted his hand and absorbed all the light in the area, the area went into darkness. He then shot it at the middle of the darkan line. It formed massive flames of light. It inceinerated the middle portion of the darkan forces. mazza knew they would still win, but he wanted them to know he was here. That fact alone might dissuade them. Then mazza walked down to the prison to greet his new guests.

____________________________________________________________

ON THE FRONT

The Darkan were desteroying the leeby. The fact their prince was in danger made them fight with a ferocity. The Darkan tanks zipped here and there taking out key installations and other vehicles. The infantry pierced the light shielding and got in the fort. Although the Sun troops held them at the entrance. But Leeby walkers started to walk in. There were about 30 of them. They started firing at everything Darkan. Then the unimaginable happened. The area went to darkness and massive flames of light came from the balcony of the fortress and destroyed the entire middle portion of the darkan forces, leaving nothing but charred and burned wastelands. Then light returned to the area as the sun's constant emmiting of light finnally took hold. near the mechs, a darkan infantrymen started to scream. "We are doomed!! It is Mazza himself!, there is no victory here!" Other infantrymen clamed him down and continued fighting. They would get the prince, or die trying.

The Lotus mechs raced towards the main lines just in time to see them be incinerated by a lone warrior inside the prison. "My gods, who could have the power to do such a thing in one blow?" Worvahn asked, terrified at the thought of facing this fighter one on one.

While the attacks were flying, taking out squadron after squadron, Koruuga reminded his pupil, "Keep your focus here and now, young one. You and Helen help reorganize the Darkan lines while I clear a path to the prison gates."

Koruuga cut a swath of carnage while the other two shored up the Darkan front. Beams of light and dark were shooting everywhere they looked, but the enemy seemed to be thinning.

"Alright you two, make your way over here." Koruuga opened a channel directly to a group of Darkan troops near the prison that had just taken out a Light Walker, "You men come with us." The eleven Dark Troops did as they were instructed. After proving themselves as fierce warriors dedicated to freeing the prince from incarceration, the Darkan troops respected the Nalkir as much as their own.

The three monks and the Darkan troops blitzed right into the entryway and offed a dozen light guards, losing two dark troops in the process. Koruuga and Worvahn took front point while Helen took rear, and some ways into the prison the Leebineese resistance seemed to lessen considerably.

Mazza stopped at a passage and saw the troops advancing. He saw them about to pass his hallway. He raised a light shield in front of them and to the right making them have to go to him.He faced them. When they turn to look at him, he looked like an old man. a perfectly normal elderly human. his head was a bit elongated and he has the slender limbs of a leebineese person. When he spoke it sounded like an elderly man as well. "well well well, look who has come to free the prince? If you must have him, follow me, and no funny buisness." He then turned around and walked away, motioniong for them to follow. A darkan trooper raised his gun and fired at Mazza. as he fired a light shield blocked the exit to the gun, the gun exploded due to internal pressure, it killed the trooper. Mazza never stopped walking. when he talked he sounded as if he was right next to them. "well, are you coming?"
