"On the contrary sir," Karda said, her voice smooth and mysterious. "I plan to walk straight in and kill him" She smiled to herself, and began to once again walk about the room. "None of this sneaking about. Although it is my nature to be naturally stealthy." She skipped to the side of the king, happy of her assignments.
"What time shall you leave?" He asked cautiously.
"An obvious time my lord, think of my name, and you shall know." Her voice trailed off as she disappeared from the room, her spirit high, even for the time of day.

"Are you leaving now Miss?" The maid asked of Karda while she packed. Karda looked out of the window and grinned.
"Yes, I am. It's finally my time." She grabbed her bag out of the maid’s hands, and slung it over her back, her delicate looking, but muscular arms carried it easily. She grabbed a black lace ribbon and tied it into her crimson hair. She pushed out of the door and walked to a small stone well behind her home. Sitting on the edge of it, she closed her eyes. The darkness of the well enveloped her, and then it was gone. Opening her eyes, she smiled. "Ah, nighttime in the human world, nothing more beautiful." She hopped off of the stonewall she had landed on, and wiped off her hands on her skirts. Looking down at her clothes she grimaced, "I suppose I'll have to change then. I do not want many funny looks form the humans." Karda looked behind her to where she had landed. "Come now Storm, quickly now." She whispered impatiently into the night. There was a gust of wind, and a young adult male stood in front of her. He grinned upon seeing Karda.
"Twilight!" He said, rushing forward to hug her, and the wind began to pick up around them, and rain began to fall.
"Storm! Calm down," Karda said laughing. "You'll make a huge rain come if you don't." She smirked and kissed him on the cheek. "Oh how I've missed you."
"I've missed you too!" His face was lit in happiness, his voice smooth as silk. "Are you still using that silly human name I gave you years ago?" He asked of the name Karda that was what all the humans called her.
"Yes. I am." She said, "I like it. And are you still using the name I gave you? What was it? Cain?" She nodded, "Yes, that's it."
"It is not sufficient that I succeed - all others must fail.” - Genghis Khan
