The Viren Return

Quick question: have the viren always had their powers since birth? Or did they just get them now? And if it's the former, have they known about their power since birth (or early childhood), or have they just been able to control them now?

The Viren have no idea about their powers. They may have heard their spirit speak to them before, but their powers are only activated when they are actually needed, which is why no one's seen or heard from a Viren for some time. There hasn't been a dire need for them.

And that's as good a note as any on which to introduce myself! Y'alls can call me HD. Most do. Character sheet just went in... Though in retrospect I'm not sure I did very well on the 'short' piece of writing. Ehehe... I sometimes may go slightly overboard.
