Campus Facilities

The main buildings that will concern the students in this story are listed below. There will also be administrative buildings and separate lower class dorms, but they won't be entirely relevant to our story.

Academic Building A (math, science and foreign language classes)

Academic Building B (English, history, art, elective classes)

Gymnasium building/Sports facilities (physical education classes, some sports practices)

Wright Hall (senior girls dormitory): The first floor of this dormitory is dedicated to a common area where students can hang out and study. Male students are permitted inside only if they are signed in by a female student. The common area has televisions, pool tables, couches and tables, public computers (and spaces to plug in your own laptops), and a cooking area equipped with a shared refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. The senior resident adviser, Holly, lives on the first floor, and the next three floors are dedicated to senior female dorm rooms.

Chase Hall (senior boys dormitory): The first floor of this dormitory is dedicated to a common area where students can hang out and study. Female students are permitted inside only if they are signed in with a male student. The common area has televisions, pool tables, couches and tables, public computers (and spaces to plug in your own laptops), and a cooking area equipped with a shared refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. The senior resident adviser, Brian, lives on the first floor, and the next three floors are dedicated to senior male dorm rooms.

The Tyler Campus Center: This building houses the main dining center, Waves Cafe, as well as a study area, a physical fitness center, and some recreation rooms. Information on what is offered at Waves can be found here. It is typically where students will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, and in addition to its indoor, cafeteria styled eating area, there is also and outdoor eating area to be used on nicer days. In addition to Waves Cafe, there are several other food options for students on campus. Café Fresca is located on the second floor of the TCC. This café features Simply to Go meals and snacks, La Brea Bakery sandwiches and salads, sushi and a variety of specialty juices and Starbuck's coffee. The café is the perfect place to grab a quick snack, meal or beverage before class.

There is a Jamba Juice located on the first floor of Academic Building A, a coffee cart located outside of Academic Building B, and only Fridays, there are several food trucks that come onto campus to service students. Each dormitory and building also has vending machines.
