Working on a story, need some help

In this multiverse there are ten dimensions, called "planes", each separated by "walls." In order to travel on the next plane, one must break the previous wall. For example, as humans, we exist naturally on the third plane, which encompasses the previous two. our existence crosses the first and second walls. If you want to travel through time, you must break the third wall to get to the fifth plane. To travel between universes you must get to the fifth plane, which is not easy. Only twenty-one devices were ever made that can achieve this, and their creator is shrouded in mystery, simply known as "The Author," but more on him later.

In this multiverse there are six primary universes, three pocket universes, one Core universe around which everything rotates, and infinite alternates for each.
Universe 1: The Religion-Free Universe
Universe 2: The RPG Universe
Universe 3: The Universe Linked to "Heaven"
Pocket Universe 1: Heaven
Universe 4: The Biological Warfare Universe
Universe 5: The Green Scare Universe (AKA The Intergalactic War Universe)
Universe 6: The Universe Linked to "Hell"
Pocket Universe 2: Hell
Core Universe: Apocalypse/"Revelation"/Shifterverse/The Pit/Clench/Convergence/The Home of the Five

Universe 1: The Religion-Free Universe
No Dark ages, no religious wars, minimal setbacks for the human race to progress scientifically. No human has ever heard the word "god" or "deity" or "heaven" or "hell." Each person bases their beliefs on observations made of the world around them. It is the year 2035, 2,035 years after the discovery of the time pieces, twenty-one devices that resemble clocks of different styles and technological epochs. Twenty-one scientists are given these devices and given the responsibility to protect the human race from itself and from any threats that might be out there in the universe. How they deal with these threats is entirely up to their own discretion. At this point in this universe's timeline, the greatest possible threat faces the human race: the destruction of the universe. The Scientist, a madman who took the handle of the man who discovered the first time piece, has rigged up a device that will allow him to reverse engineer the universe and make it again in a way which he thinks would better suit humanity's needs. Unfortunately this would require all fifteen trillion humans currently scattered across the universe to die horribly and painfully as their atoms are ripped away from their body in order form least massive to most massive. It is up to the quadroplaners, the twenty-one time-hopping warriors, to stop him, so they engage in inter-universal travel to search for an answer or a possible way to prevent the coming destruction of their universe. They are doomed to fail, however. Their names, handles, weapons, and timepieces are listed below.

In this universe, all people are capable of achieving ages exceeding one thousand years. Thanks to medical science, all humans are resistant to impact injuries and are approximately fifty percent stronger then they would be naturally. This gives the illusion of immortality to people from the other universes who met the Professor when he was 50 and then again when he was 1245 years old.

Universe 2: The RPG Universe
The year is 2035, 2,035 years after the founding of the first Sparta. Since then dozens of Spartan Empires have risen and fallen, the capital of each taking that of its predecessor, regardless of whether or not it's in the same spot as the old one. Now Malachus is the Warrior-King. Though once an idealistic revolutionary, he has been corrupted by power and become frustrated by the common people of Sparta. His brother, Brutus, who was second in command during the revolution, is now a wandering sword for hire. He and whoever is willing to work with him hunt down targets for the bounty, though they find the name bounty hunter a bit too formal as they also work entertainment jobs, fight in any battle they're paid to, and will accept money for just about anything you're willing to pay for. Few people know about Brutus's relationship with he Warrrior-King, and those who do wish they didn't know. Since he was young, Brutus has known the Professor, and the two have gone on hundreds of adventures without anybody else knowing about it. Brutus and Malachus both wear gear that is enchanted to lengthen life. Brutus appears to be 30-40 years old, but he is, in fact, nearly seventy. Malachus is only three years younger, but he looks like he's about 25 (if you ignore his scar). The goal of this universe is to convince Brutus to return to Sparta and overthrow his brother and set up a less dictatorial system.

Universe 3: The Universe Linked to "Heaven"
The year is 2035 C.E. (yes, this one is much more similar to the real world than the last two, the next three will also be more reality based (to some extent)). The world is normal... except for the fact that the western world is trying to force a global education standardization down everybody else's throats. Meanwhile, a musically inclined South African Girl named Janette has engaged in a six month exchange program in Japan, where she meets Kotomi, a quiet, reserved girl with bright red hair whose green haired boyfriend, Daichi, was just shot by a man who she then exploded with the psionic powers she never realized she had. This entire universe is basically a parody of Anime if you couldn't already tell. There's also this plot involving the major gods (Yaweh, Jehova, Allah as a father and his two sons, the Hindu gods, etc.) and how they want to keep supernatural happenings to a minimum
