Hey peoples. I've been interested in doing a laid back nation RP. You could create any kind of nation you wanted, Human or otherwise, set on a fictional world with early 1980's tech.
Mostly everything except economics would be done through RP, including combat. One moment you could be roleplaying your leader, the next some infantry in the field.
I will develop it more, just wanted to see how much interest there would be.

This is pretty intriguing. I'd like to ask a few questions, if you don't mind. How do you plan on handling trade and economics, if not IC? Will this be focused on action on story? How many people do you plan to have in this roleplay?

1. I had a nation thread long ago, and I was planning on using the economics form that, although I'm very open to suggestions. Basically you get taxes from your cities/towns/villages/crossroads, and use it to buy troops. It was simple, a bit too simple really. I would like to add trade mechanisms though, so I might need to overhaul my economy system a bit.
2. It will be a bit more focused on action and story than most nation threads. Although what that's means will vary nation to nation.
3. However many join =) Although the size/importance of nation allowed will be based on how often a person is able to get on.
And frankly, I'd be willing to change any of this if it needs to be changed, I only have a few set plans so far, I was hoping to get feedback and ideas from others.
