Name: Olaf Leiho

Gender: Male

Age: 22

Appearance: Olaf is reasonably tall 6'3'', but what he is still very imposing with physique of a body builder. He had long blonde hair, a small beard, blue eyes and the pale skin that is apparent of those living in the now freezing wasteland of Scandinavia. The men up their are little more than savages having reverted back to the old gods and customs of the Vikings. He has a long scar running down his right cheek from his first fight at the age 12. He does not wear the typical EUF uniform the reasons that will become apparent instead wearing a grey overcoat and black boats to blend into the rubble of London. He wields a compact shotgun, Magnum pistol, two hand axes for combat and throwing axes strapped to his chest. He is a true Vikingr (no spelling mistake, the r is actually there when used to describe the people)

Personality: Olaf is gruff and cold, having had to fight to survive since a very young age, however he loves a good drink of mead and a good war story.

Nation: EUF

Background: Olaf grew up in one of the warring tribes in the now wasteland of Scandinavia, the government at Oslo decided to keep them like that, all the better for breeding soldiers. He killed his first man at 12, using only his bare hands. He quickly rose to be one of the greatest fighters in his tribe, but then the recruitment started. They came in their metal machines and had sticks that could kill a man by pointing it at them. He was only 18 but was rounded up by the soldiers of EUF. This recruitment happens every 5 years and it is always to select tribes, it keeps them disparate and stops one tribe gaining dominance over the others as their strongest warriors are taken. Olaf quickly grew to love the army, he was given more and more ways to kill a man and he became very proficient with a firearm, but still his favourite weapons were his trusty axes. He never left his old beliefs behind, just like all the Scandinavians who join up. Before and a fight he and his soldiers will pray to Tyr to help them kill the enemy and after to Tree for letting them live. However looking at the conflicts the Norse have started to believe that Ragnorak is coming and Olaf will do anything to stop that, even if it means betraying his nation.

Recent events: Olaf has been sent with a small task force of 7 other Vikingr to take and hold a beach-head next to the old run down millennium eye, there they are to wait for reinforcements and kill all who try to dislodge them. To fail would mean the EUF would not be able to get into London.
His team consists of 5 close combat specialist including him, a sniper and a heavy weapons expert.

Ok in the rp, varrious fleets can have begun attacking, mostly the soviets at this point.

Also SinisterMaximilian's days dont add in to the standard rp, because otherwise his fleet would never arrive.

Also i would preffer to keep the ic thread clear of ooc comments.

Currenty the dome itself is quiet, so i would recomend that once the soviet infantry are drop podded that anyone not on the sea front go and investigate to see whats been going on.

Remember you wont know its infantry, you will probably think its a dud bomb.

Name: Captain Robert 'Ritz' Ritzik

Gender: Male

Age: 42

Apperence: 6ft, short light brown hair, pieceing blue eyes, regular build, has two scars one from the lip across the nose to his hair line and one along his cheek.

Wears a high necked black pullover with a badge with a sheep under to crossed swords the symbol of yorkshire. He has black camoflague fatigues. He also always wears a black baseball cap with the yorkshire badge on it. He wears a pair of combat boots. He has a SA85 an upgraded version of the SA80 with an undermounted grenade launcher and a sight and an SR91 which is a sniper rifle version of the SA80. Also carries a knife on his boot. He has a small star with a crown on it on his jumper front.

Personality: Funny and liked by his men. Always listens to his men twice as much as he shouts at them. he leads from the front and complains regually how no-one will fight him. modest.

nation: britain, yorkshire

Background: born, 2067, father who was an ex british army corperal and mother who was a local women. he was taught by his father to shoot. Never really was good at school but very good physical sports. He joined the army with his mates and joined the 33rd, the local regiment, to go out and see the rest of the country instead of just the yorkshire dales day in day out. part of the force to put down food riots in scotland, he killed his first man there. He was drunk who gave him a scar down his cheek with a beer bottle, he never forgets it.

He was sent as part of the unsucessful attack on the port of breast's sea batteries watching over the chanel. Many of his friends were fried alive before they could even touch down in the batteries. He got his second scar from a european bayonet which nearly cut his face in two. had to spend a month in hospital whilst he waited for his face to be stitched back together. Many of his men joked that it's a definite improvment others have joked that his face is worth a 10 men. As most of the officers of the regiment were killed. He was promoted to captain and is now in charge of the regiments grenadier company one of the regiments two elite companies, out of the entire ten companies belonging to the regiment. He was given the star and crown for bravery in the yorkshire uprisings although he denies that he deserve it and that there were many more deserving.

Okay I know it's a bit late but this looked like a really fun RolePlay and seeing as I'm new on this forum I'd like to give it a shot. So here's my character Bio. If you could let me know if I can have a place ASAP then I'd be really happy. Thanks. Here goes. ^_^

Name: Sergeant John 'Badger' White

Gender: Male

Age: 45

Appearance: John stands at 6'6'' tall. His hair is dark brown, flecked with grey. His mates and most of the men he has fought with affectionately call him 'badger', possibly due to the grey/white stripe running down the centre of his beard. It is more likely, however, that this nickname stemmed from the story that he was once surrounded during a bar fight by several men armed with knives and 'fought with the ferocity of a cornered badger'. He looks older than he is, due to the strain of life and the currant climate (he spends most of his time out of doors, exposed to the elements. He wears the standard british army uniform (Black leather pants, black t-shirt and a black turtle-neck. He also has a large, dark-grown overcoat and a bomber jacket to keep the cold out. His sergeants' chevrons are stitched onto the shoulders of his trenchcoat, which he never takes off), except for a minor difference from most of the other soldiers. He has a beige berret.

During the mid 20th and early to mid 21st centuries this would have meant that he was a member of the elite fighting force known as the Special Air Service (S.A.S.) in the british army. Now it simply means he is a man known and respected for his combat skills and tactical know-how. He has one scar, which runs across his right eye. Speaking of eyes, his are hazel/green in color. Something lurks behind those eyes. Some deep, dark secret or a smouldering rage that John does not speak of. John is standard infantry, so used to use a rifle. Now that he is an NCO he has an assult rifle (G36C) and a handgun (M1A1 Semi Auto).

Personality: John is and easy-going sort of man, despite his appearance and countenance. He Likes to joke or sometimes even sing to keep the men's spirits up. He also enjoys sharing a mug of tea or a cigerette with whoever happens to be passing by. Aside from his usual self he can be a very serious, sometimes dangerous man. He does not like the upper classes, or what's left of them and thinks that the higher-ups need to "pull their heads out of their ar**s and come down here to do some soldiering!" This attitude has caused him several problems with his superior officers.

Nation: Great Britain, Annalong, County Down, Northern Ireland.

Background: John was born John Gordon White to parents Richard Oliver Gordon White and Cara White on the eighth of may 2064 in the coastal fishing village of Annalong, Northern Ireland (4 years after the bombs were dropped on London). At the age of six he was on his father's trawler learning the ropes and was first mate by the time he was eighteen. Then the looters arrived. Most were from the cities, moving to the countryside looking for places to grow, or steal, food. John's village was torched whilst he, his father and the crew were fishing in the Irish Sea. He lost the remainder of his family to rape, murder and flame. They sailed the boat to the english coast where they moored and eventually found an army camp. There they were recruited (John would say drafted) into the british army.

Seven years and two near court-martials later John returned to Annalong with a small detatchment to see what had become of his old home (it was originally a mission to look for more draftees). After spending some time at the pub, John found out that his house had been rebuilt and was now occupied by the leader of the group that had burnt it down in the first place. John exacted his revenge with near genious precision, essentially slaughtering the man and his entire family in such a way as to have made it look like a mass suicide. Only one other man knows about this, and he was just a private who was too scared to even mention it to John. After this event, John returned to Britain and spent the remainder of his time until the war doing menial tasks such as the occasional quelling of riots or destruction of small insurgant bands trying to steal food or supplies for themselves. He was also a part of the force that stopped the irish rebellions.

Recent events: John was sent to London to protect the bunker under the dome. He marched in with his squad and took up positions near the river, waiting for the onslaught of the USSR, whatever that stood for. Being a sergeant he is equipped with a G36C assult rifle and an M1A1 revolver.

Sorry i havnt posted for a few days, its been really busy.

Ok new applications.
Jaz Whitey - i like it, good work, get roleplaying.
Lone World - it need more information, like recent events and more backround.

On the rp itself, i think its time to kick it up a notch. This is a war rp, os lets get some war going, dont just kill faceless enemies, gets some descriptive action in there.

Also new positions, the Soviets have taken the sea front, the British are ordering a push to hold the Soviets in the city ruins in the area in front of the dome, as such lots of soviets vs british street fighting.

Also, its occured to me that since we are all on different teams we cant unite against a common enemy. So im trying to work out somthing that we can unite against, this wont be for awhile, but im thinking maybe some robots or mutants come out of the bunker, but that seem kind of weak. My other thought was aliens, i know you think this sounds even weaker, but hought starship trooper style insect aliens. If you have any thoughts message me.

Thanks for the compliment man! I'll get posting soon as I finish typing this! I like your idea about a common enemy, but it seems to me that mutants/robots/aliens would be a bit strange. However, what about these beast-people you were talking about? You said they were used as forced labour by most of the nations. Why don't we have some sort of rebellion from them? Y'know, like they start with russia because russia were the ones who created them, then they spread or something. Anyway it's just a thought. Let me know what you think!

Name: Magnus Domina

Gender: Male

Age: 30

Appearance: Shaved head, muscular body, blue eyes, tall 6ft, the way he stands, talks and acts, displays power and authority. His weapons are a shotgun with under slung grenade launcher, 2 machine pistols with laser sights and explosive hollow point rounds. For hand to hand combat he carries 2 samurai style swords. He wears full body armor, insulated so he doesn’t feel the cold, but also very thin and maneuverable, the armor is plain black all over, with the kings crest on the chest plate, the helmet is also plain black, no part of his body is on display, the helmets eye visor can display night vision, heat vision as well as scope abilities. The armor can take a direct bullet hit with no damage. There is also a black cape that is traditional. The armor is made of a titanium helium alloy, which means its incredibly strong and light.

Personality: Magnus is the kings divine retribution, as such it has given him a bit of an ego, not that anyone would dare say that, additionally an ego requires you to belie that you are better than you are, so far Magnus is one of the best warriors alive, possibly its not ego, just truth. Other than the desire to smite the kings enemies, he has no personality, no hobbies, nothing he enjoys, nothing he likes, he is a tool of war.

Nation: Britain, Knight of the Garter

Background: Magnus’s farther was a knight of the Garter and his grandfather was also a Knight of the Garter, his is one of the oldest Knight families, although he has never met farther or anyone of his family, as during these times Knights don’t have time or permission to have a family, they are simply ordered to create at least 3 children before they die, so the Knights blood line will continue, those children are then taken and trained all day every day for 25years until they become Knights of the Garter, most don’t survive the training.

Magnus graduated to being a Knight at 25, for the last 5 years he has been in Scotland enforcing the Kings will, his time in Scotland had less rebellions or social up rising then any time in the last 100 years, it also had one of the strictest law enforcement in the last 100 years. Magnus is becoming known for his overly aggressive enforcement of the Kings will, as well as his great fighting abilities. He would often walk the streets alone and offer to fight any challenger, he was never wounded, and often would be attacked by large groups everyday.

When the dome was opened all of the Knights received more advanced weapons and armor, some considered that it took the bravery out of their fighting, but Magnus was happy knowing he could better serve the King.

Recent events: Magnus and his guard have been dispatched to assist in defending the dome.

Given the lack of activity from some members, if you havnt posted for a week, we move on without you, although you can post again but you must accept that the roleplay has moved on and get your character to act in such a way.

As such my character nick is moving on, since Jackarhius hasnt posted in the IC thread for a week today. Feel free to come back and join in again when you have time.
