Hearing that Santo was going to take the wheel, Kyro automatically gripped his seat just before the decrepit camper van made a violent swerve in a seemingly random direction. Well, it was definitely made clear that Santo wanted to drive. Kyro didn't particularly want to die, but what could they crash into in the middle of nowhere? Short of crashing into a ditch or hitting a cactus or some tumbleweed, no-one was going to get hurt since there was no-one out here as far as he could tell. Meh, there was nothing he could do about it anyway, if Santo wanted to drive he'd probably drive and while they probably wouldn't stay on the road very long, it didn't really matter since there wasn't much out here except sand, sun and... cacti. What an interesting place to be.
Letting go of the death grip he had on his seat, Kyro looked at Niko as she spoke to him. He sort of thought of her as the leader as she was always planning stuff and her trips never failed to lack amusement. Something crazy always happened on them as far as Kyro could tell, whether it be good or bad, but on one of Niko's trips, you could pretty much guarantee that you weren't going to end up anywhere normal or near civilization.
"Hi," he replied, smiling, not looking as dismayed about the melted ice-cream. His face lit up like a child who'd just been told they were going to live in Disneyland when he was told there was more ice-cream.
"Really? Endless supply of everything?" Kyro asked, wondering if that was a bad thing as well as a good thing. It meant a lot of ice-cream, but it also meant a lot of drugs... he didn't have a problem with his friends taking drugs, that was their problem, but when they were driving and on drugs there was always the possibility of something bad happening and Kyro couldn't help but feel slightly worried.
"We're gonna end up in a ditch or crashing into some people riding camels through the desert," he said, half-joking... then a thought occured to him. Were there any people who went riding camels in the desert? He turned around and got on his knees on the seat to look out of the window to see if there were any people on camels. Nope... just more desert. Oh well, something was bound to happen soon, it always did.
