Introduction

Human minds are easily misled with power. Some claim it for justice, while others for retribution. This lust for power and domination caused the extinction of the elven races. The Kingdom of Drunett the superpower that dominated most of the continent of Tyran led a noble expansion into the North Forest of Aviarch, the ancient realm of the elven people. The elves held their ground but were eventually overpowered. The Sage of Aviarch, a powerful magic user, foresaw the extinction of the elven race and thus tried to prevent it. The sage broke his power and soul into 54 cards of 4 suits, each suit holding its own unique power. With this full deck he destroyed the Drunett Empire and killed it's king.

After seeing the destructive power the deck of cards held he swore that the cards would never again be held by one man. He scattered the cards throughout the mortal humans world with this warning printed upon each card.



With the sages final wish fulfilled he died ending the elven race. From the ashes of the Drunett empire seven kindgoms of man rose. Killian, ruled by King Zerane, the eldest son of Derane the final king of the Drunett Empire. Neglai, ruled by Nerane the second son of Derane, and New Drune, ruled by Merane the twin of Nerane. In the south, the Hillion Dessert was divided into two kingdoms. The Kingdom of Nash, and its Sultan, Shyam and the Kingdom of Kushite, Led by the Kushite Tribunal. The Aviarch Forest become the realm of King Arnold and a group of islands of the coast of Killian become known as, Treslantis, ruled by the order of Kaiser Knights. Little do these young kingdoms know, that the balance of power shall be tipped as the Cards of Aviarch are shuffled throughout the kingdoms with only a promise to kill and destroy

The Nations

Killian :The Kingdom of Killian is ruled by Zerane the eldest son of Derane. His lands are closest to the Aviarch Forest as well as the largest of the three sons kingdoms. His armies are used for the defense of his nation and his only wish is to remain neutral in world affairs. This has become increasingly difficult as King Henry begs him for help in his civil war against the massive roaming armies that threaten his throne. The ruins of the actual capital of Drunett lay upon his land but, both citizens of Neglai and New Drune have free right of passage through all lands controlled by the three brothers.

The physical geography of Killian consists of rolling plains spotted with small woods to the south and dense forest to the north. To the West are many port towns that ship goods to all the countries on the west coast including the islands just off the coast known as Traslantis.

Neglai :Neglai is ruled by Nerane the second son of Derane, he has great ambitions which have lead to the massive expansion of his army. He uses the large military presense to exercise an iron fist rule. He hopes to expand into the south in his next campaign and overthrow The Sultan of Nash.

Neglai consists of vast hilly plains filled with fertile soil and also holds a large chunk of the west coast. Major industries include mining and farming.

New Drune : New Drune's leader is Merane the youngest son of Derane and the twin of Nerane. Merane is the most peaceful of the brothers he has no national army and leaves the responsibility of public safety to the local militia or each area. Many consider him an agent of peace as he wants nothing but the best for his people. His country has had the roughest time of the three brothers countries as famine and disease have plagued his people. Merane has an extremely close relationship with his twin but has somewhat less peace with his older brother Zerane who believes that he is foolish.

New Drune is the smallest of the three kingdoms, its postition makes it very cold and swampy as it is up in the north. The area has light forest that is evenly spread across the whole land area of the nation.

Treslantis :Trelantis is lead by the Order of the Kaiser Knights whom have ruled the small group of three islands with an iron fist. The nobles are required to pay minimal taxes while the peasants pick up the slack. The slightly socialist system of government ensures that the peasants are provided basic needs but also calls for a tyranic government that crushs all opposition to its ideals.

The Kaiser Knights have an interesting history, each knight must be blessed by the high priest of Ives and it has been this way since they served the Drunette Empire. The Kaiser Knights became well known during the Elf Human War as the "Blue Waves of Death". At the fall of the Drunett Empire a non violent power struggle between Deranes three sons lead the Kaiser Knights to become an independant nation.

Treslantis is a group of three islands, the largest is used for agricultural means and uses tier and contour farming techniques. The second largest island is a peasants housing district and docks. The third and smallest island is the nobles capital district were the Kaiser Knights rule supremely. These three islands are spanned by four massive bridges that lead to every island.

The Cards

The Cards of Aviarch are a near unstoppable force. Each suit holds it's own unique power and these power escalate with the level of the card. As in a Two being the weakest and an Ace being the climax of power in a suit. The power of the cards is tempting to humans and most go mad with power once they obtain a card. Beware the call of the cards for you yourself could be a victim of the horrible fate that takes most cardholders from this world. There are certain words that explain the power of each suit which include,

Spades: Death, Destruction, Oblivion, Chaos, Murder, Hatred, and Rage.

Clubs: Force, Mystic, Power, and Strength.

Diamonds: Deseption, Wit, Wisdom, Intelligence, and Forsight.

Hearts: Love, Caring, Brotherhood, Cohiesiveness, Healing, and Passion.

The Jokers
There exist only two Jokers, one red the other black. Each Joker offers complete protection from the suits that match it's color. Here's the catch, you cannot use cards of any suit as long as you hold a Joker.

Bio:
Leon was abandoned by his parents and was raised by a dwarf, tall for his size, the dwarf name was Chronos. Chronos raised him like he was his own son, since Chronos did not have one. As he grew up, Leon was always alone because he was human and only Chronos accepted him. He was an optimistic kind of kid and always looks for the better side of things; this trait allowed him to keep living and never tried to kill himself. At the age of 7, Chronos taught him how to blacksmith, he was not as good at Chronos but his skill exceeded the average dwarf. He never liked working he was more of a dreamer and cloud watcher, but he did it to make Chronos proud.

Later on his dad was attacked by a bunch of humans. He, disliking violence, does not want to fight and try to stop the humans. The humans just pushed him away and laughed at his attempt, he saw Chronos die right in front of him, infuriated with anger he attacked the humans by finding the nearest sword, surprisingly he was a natural born swordsman and easily fended them off. He spare there live remembering Chronos words “Spare all lives, as long as they have value”, Leon did not knew if this people had value but despite himself, he spared them anyways.

He left his village, cannot bear to live in the village of his “father” death. He took off into the Alviarch Forest, pushing away all humans, already hating them because of the humans who kill Chronos. Later he was attacked by wolves and seeing he did not bother to carried a weapon because he was a pacifist, was staring death straight into the eyes, until a knight came to his rescue. He was amazed by the strength of this knight, causing him to fear instead of hate human. He pushes the knight away saying humans only can kill and I regret being one! The knight chuckled and replied, not all humans are cruel some human use their skill to protect and that’s what I do. The knight told him, it is okay if he did not like him, but it his job to protect travelers. Leon reluctantly agrees, not able to turn this nice man offer to help him.

2 years later he lived with the Knight, who he now know as “Sky”, and learned the art of swordsmanship and he also learned he was a natural tactician. The king wanted him for his army and Sky told him the news, Leon straight out refuses and was hunted. He try to escape the kingdom but was trapped by the kings army, the king told him: "I will spare you life if you join me, otherwise death awaits you." Leon still refused, seeing it was against his beliefs and before he was kill, Sky stood up for him and was charge for treason and was attacked. Sky told him to follow him and Leon did, they ran to a hanging cliff near the ocean and both of them fought valiantly, but hopelessly outnumber. Sky looked back at the cliff and saw the it was safe to jump, afraid the knights might follow, Sky told Leon to jumps off the cliff while he delay them. Leon refuse and vowed to fight beside him, Sky just smiled and says “You were always caring for other and I knew that from the moment I met you…goodbye…Leon…” Sky turns around and pushes Leon off the cliff. Leon in dismay watches as Sky was stab in the chest; he looks at Sky and screams in frustration as he fall.

Hours later he arrive on land and cries to himself for hours, he vowed not to get close to anyone and live alone for the rest of his life. Looking next to him, he notices he was holding Sky’s sword, it was his memento of Sky. Leon finally smile and thought to himself gripping onto his necklace and Sky’s sword.
~I will never be alone, not along as I have Sky…and Chronos, that all I need…”
Now at the age of 18, he began his own journey.

A small area in the North is a Neutral unruled area that is inhabited by the stout mountain people (dwarves, no magic) but the only humans in the area are children orphaned by the elf versus human war, who were at the time only newborns.

Name: Baston Paren II (The Second)
Allegiances: None
Appearance: Baston has a tall, filled out figure with arms that are perfectly proportioned to his legs. His long brown hair hangs a shoulder length, sideburns ruff and uncut. A thin strain of white hair runs down his hair from a small wound he had recieved before he was taken in by Baston Paren I (The First). His normal attire includes leather boots and gloves and a hooded green cloak that extends to his elbows, covering his longsleeved shirt and pants.
Bio: Baston was orphaned when the elves ransacked a human village. Several of the stout Mountain People decided to bring these orphaned children back into the Northern Range Mountains. Baston was adopted by and named after Baston Paren I, the owner of a large mine and a collector of ancient manuscripts. Because of Baston I's, love of these things Baston II, knew much about the ancient languages such as elven and the runes.

Baston was briefly part of the mounted militia were he gained the majority of his swordplay and military tactics expirience. He was also trained in the use of nearly all melee weapons, bows, and hand cannons. He was later discharged at his fathers discretion and sent home.

Name:: Avo (A-vo) / Skurn (S-corn)

Allegiances:: None, Allies are for the weak

Appearance:: Avo his human is appearance. His eyes are a soulless gray with a line of crimson at the underside of the pupil, while his hair is a smoky black the cascades down to the bottom of his neck. His teeth all end at a point and razor sharp. Avo's outfit is a white hakama, a black obi. His top is sleeveless with black lining the sides and buttons an inch to each other. On his arms he has white warmers that got to his elbows with black on the edges and a half an inch cloth wrapping them three times. His entire outfit looks worn and ripped in many places.


Avo was adopted by a poor family, at first he grew up like any other child in the village, but at the age of six his body started to change to look different from all the others. The changes where small in the beginning, first being the line of crimson under his pupil then his hair turning black over night, his mental state also drastically changed, it was even more apparent of this when he killed a lame boy for "being worthless." He was shunned and Avo didn't care.

Five years rolled by and Avo came back to village adopting the name Skurn and slaughtered everyone. Leaving the bodies unburied and scatted randomly he left a smile on his face. The next few years he found him self a mercenary work for a company of at least 30 and a the max 100 others and was merciless. Often after the battle was won he scavenge the field for survivors and kill then even if told no too. His company feared him and often pray for the enemy saying, "May the Gods have mercy upon those who swing a sword at Skurn." He was twenty at this time.

Then next year he left the company and become hired killer, and was more than effective at his time he adorned his current wear and became the white death. Rumor had it that even if he was hit he wouldn't bleed, and that he could walk though walls.

@Stan: I'm sorry but this RP has more of a medieval culture to it. I won't allow your profile for the same reason that I don't allow anime pics, its just not the right venue.

Name: Cailin al'Malac

Allegiances: None, Cailin doesn't know enough about what goes on around her to pledge her allegiance quite yet.

Appearance: In bare feet, Cailin stands at 5'4". Her body is lithe and lean. She has long, auburn hair that flows in waves to midway down her back. Shorter pieces frame her face, and she watches the world through chocolate brown eyes. If you look closely, her eyes have flecks of green that matches the leaves in the forest. As for clothing, what she wears depends on what she is doing. When she is around her house, Cailin wears a pale blue and silver gown. The dress stays close to her chest and upper arms, then fans out from her elbows and waist. Her feet are protected by simple black leather boots. When Cailin is out and wishes not to be seen, her clothing changes appearance. She wears tight fitting tan pants and black corseted top. She remains in the black boots, but tucks the bottom of her pants in. The boots go to just above her knees. Usually she covers this up with a black hooded cloak.

Bio: Cailin comes from a wealthy and influential human family. She is blessed enough to still have both her mother and father in a world where villages are raided every day and many children are orphaned. Her family has been talking politics and power to her since she was young, but she wants nothing to do with it. Her interests lie elsewhere.
Though it is socially unacceptable to females to learn the art of fighting, Cailin is fascinated by it. She find it exhilarating, and yearns for the freedom and adventure that comes with being a male who knows how to wield a weapon.
During the day and when out in public, Cailin appeals to the social norm and acts very lady like and proper. Just as you would expect a young lady from money to act. However, at night Cailin sneaks off into the shadows to a clandestine spot and meets a childhood friend who has agreed to teach her the art of sword fighting and shooting a bow.
When a card falls into Cailin's hands, she is not entirely sure what to make of it. However, the air around the card is filled with action and adventure and she just cannot resist it's call to find out exactly what it means to bare a card.

Hopefully that is ok. If not, you can simply tell me what I need to change and I will change it.

Edit:
I found a picture that can illustrate what she wears when she decides to act un-ladylike.

The only thing that can be omitted from the picture is the sword and shield. She does not wield them. As far as all the clothing goes, that is all correct. I tried to keep it medieval looking as possible.

You mind giving me a bit more info on the Kaiser Knights?

The Kaiser Knights are a templar that exercise an absolute dictatorship over the three islands in Treslantis. The number of Knights is around one hundred. Most peasants in the area are poor due to high taxes upon just about everything. The knights also worship Ives (I- VAZE), whom is considered the god of the West Sea. (Hopefully I can get a map made soon)

Name: Kajh An'aiealen

Allegiances: None yet.

Appearance: Kajh is a tall young man with Blonde curly hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are a deep blue. The clothes he wears are simple grays and browns. As far as weapons go, he has a wood short bow his uncle made for him to hunt with, and a small belt knife usually used for gutting game and fletching new arrows for his bow. These and his boots are his only possessions, aside from a few small tokens he can carry with him in a small belt pouch, such as the card he found, or anything else he might've found that seemed valuable enough to keep.

Bio: Kajh has always felt a certain affinity with nature. His earliest memories are of his uncle teaching him the ways of a forester, and becoming reliant only on nature's bounty. He's always moved around, mostly following where the wildlife went. It wasn't until he was 15 that he saw another human besides himself and his uncle.

Eventually his uncle told him he was old enough to live on his own, and left him. Kajh decided he'd make his living as a trapper, making stops into towns to trade his furs for basic supplies. He went on like this, and tried to keep all human contact at a minimum.

He found the card on a trail, an carried it with him on an impulse. He's convinced that it's not meant for him, and thinks to find it's owner as soon as possible. He can't read, so he doesn't know what the card says.


More on the Bio will probably be revealed in the plot... When it starts, I'll have him in a city, looking for the cards owner.

Sorry but I use a random number generator to decide who gets what I was aiming for a spade and I got stuck with clubs. But, on the bright side, I can explore in more depth what makes his personality like that of Clubs.
