Dark Abyss: Extreme Space Survival

Like the title has stated, I am craving a space survival roleplay. I do not mean any ordinary space survival, I want nitty gritty hardcore survival. From subtle "oh no we lost communications" to insane "trajectory into a asteroid field." I want this to be realistic but I will add an exception or two for plot reasons, nothing too far fetch. This roleplay will be slow pace, it's space there is not much to explore, but will be filled with character development and challenges to overcome. This will be a 1x1 story broken into two parts. The first part centers on a spacecraft lost in space and the main goal will be to return to Earth or close enough to the space station to be rescued. The second part will revolve around the space station. Technically the two parts don't have to be with the same roleplaying partner but it would be nice to have the same person from start to finish. The first part will have about six characters and the second part will have about twenty characters (our characters included). If you wish to take control of more than one character then that is fine with me. Due to some advancements in technology this will be a little bit in the future but for the most part it is modern.
