“Well, I’ll see you later guys.” The words were tossed over Jack’s shoulder as she walked out the back door of the bar. It had been a long night, and now that work was over she could go home and rest. However she would have to check on everything first. Make sure no one suspicious was hanging around her apartment, and stay clear of all of the government fleas that were after her. So far she had seen a few around but it seemed she was doing pretty well at keeping clear of them.

She turned the corner and entered the street. Here she could feel the light drizzle of rain, and smell the various smells of the city, most not being pleasant. As she walked she kept herself to the shadows and avoided making any noise.

~ “Shhhh.” One of the children whispered as they creep around the corner. A few of the Florescent lights were still on and just down the Hall was one of the Doctors, most likely headed to do one of the nightly checks on them. Six pressed closer against the wall and held her breath as he turned the corner with out seeing the group of children at the opposite end of the hall from him. She let out her breath as he disappeared from sight. Looking to the others she nodded and they continued moving. They would need to move faster now. That Doctor was going to notice that all the beds were empty.~
