Dead Men Walking Lore

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Hides-His-Loot on Sat Jun 16, 2012 6:44 pm

This is anything that may need explaining in the RP, due to it not being explained in the roleplay itself. Feel free to add to it, after all, a lot of characters come from different charters, and the DMW is a pretty big thing to explain lol.

The Unit

The Unit was just that, a unit in the US army that served in the Gulf War between 1991 and 1992. Many of its members are called the "Undead Dozen", the founders of the Dead Men Walking's first chapter in San Diego, California. Here is a list of those in the Unit...

Jimmy "Golden" Horowitz
Nate "Silver" Horowitz
Jerry "Queen" Prince
Hendrik "Rage" Jansson
Carl "One-Eye" Campbell
Joe "Little" Smith
Joe "Big" Carrington
Stewart "Disco" McNamara
Gary "Hawk" Nelson
Stacy "Vixen" Evans
Francis "Duke" Adams
Javier "Cards" Perez
Dennis "Grave Digger" Halt

The Undead Dozen

The Undead Dozen were those who formed the Dead Men Walking's San Diego chapter. All were in the unit. Although "Grave Digger's" absence in the Undead Dozen has always been questioned. Here is a list of the Undead Dozen along with a brief description.

Jimmy "Golden" Horowitz - President

Jimmy founded the Dead Men Walking, and is seen by many as the man who controls all the chapters and the club in general. He is an urban legend to many, and many non-outlaw bikers try to mimic him and see him as a role model, despite the law's protests. He and his brother Nate were the first Jewish members of the club.

Nate "Silver" Horowitz - Vice President

Nate is Jimmy's younger brother. He co-founded the club with him, and is seen a Jimmy's second.

Jerry "Queen" Prince - Secretary

Jerry "Queen" Prince was the first secretary of the Dead Men Walking MC. Born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, he was the first homosexual member of the club. He passed away in 2012 after contracting HIV around 15 years earlier.

Hendrik "Rage" Jansson - Sergeant At Arms

Hendrik "Rage" Jansson was born in Apartheid-era South Africa to white parents. He moved to California at a young age and after the Gulf War, became the DMW's Sergeant At Arms. Due to his South African heritage, he has links to gangs that can easily manufacture weapons over there. It is the main source of club's weapons to this day.

Carl "One-Eye" Campbell - Road Captain

Losing his eye in a prison fight during a prison stint in the 1990's, Carl "One-Eye" Campbell was the first black African-American member of the Dead Men Walking. He served as Road Captain before and after losing his eye.

Joe "Little" Smith - Enforcer

Lil' Joe was an enforcer and founding member of the Dead Men Walking. His died supposedly in a gang war in 2011. Lil' Joe was 5"6'.

Joe "Big" Carrington - Enforcer

Big Joe was also an enforcer. In comparison to Lil' Joe, Big Joe was 6"6'.

Stewart "Disco" McNamara - Enforcer

Disco Stu' was an enforcer for the DMW, he was the first Irish-American in the Dead Men Walking. He got his nickname because he loved disco music as opposed to heavy metal and rock. Stewart was also an avid fan of The Simpsons.

Gary "Hawk" Nelson - Enforcer

Hawk was an enforcer and founding member. He got his nickname due to his 20/20 vision despite playing video games more than any other club member. He is currently in San Quentin prison due to a deal gone wrong. He will get parole in 2014.

Stacy "Vixen" Evans - Enforcer

Vixen was an enforcer and first woman in the Dead Men Walking. She got her name for her acting skills. In front of friends she would be sweet and caring, but in front of enemies she'd be a psychotic killer.

Francis "Duke" Adams - Enforcer

An enforcer. Duke got his name from coming from a rather rich middle-class family. Although members often joked he got it due to being a closeted homosexual with Jerry "Queen" Prince. Although everybody knows this is false... probably.

Javier "Cards" Perez - Enforcer

An enforcer. Cards was the youngest founding member of the DMW. Being 18 in 1991, he is only 39 now. Cards is also the first Hispanic member of the Dead Men Walking, and got his nickname due to his gambling addiction.
