Hais. Many stories have been told on this ancient planet yet few know of its actual existence. Perhaps it is because the inhabitants mostly keep to themselves, making sure not to cause much disturbance among the multi-verse. Be whatever reason, the population of the distant planet Hais has lived peacefully for many millennia, until now.

This planet was crafted by ancient and powerful beings dubbed properly as “The Avatars.” These Avatars each took on responsibility for different aspects of the planet. There is an Avatar of Growth, Water, Air, Fertility, ect. The more powerful Avatar’s took on the more demanding roles… Life or Time… or Destruction. The balance that these Demi-God’s have kept is cracking as humans grow magically and develop wars between kingdoms which, in turn, cause wars between Avatars. What will become of the inhabitants of this world? Only you can decide…

Setting: Hais, A normal planet by Earth standards with the standard ground, water, and air that we would find on Earth. Many of the beings have developed magically abilities over time and become in tune with the Avatars that rule over the world. There are mythical creatures such as Dragons, Ogres, and anything else that you can come up with.

The Planet is divided into three major Kingdoms. Hais, also the planet’s name, is the largest and strongest of the three kingdoms, controlling 75% of the planet. It is ruled by a council that is elected by its people but has a King figure that holds the most power, political and military. Welsh is the forest kingdom to the far east of Hais. The land is small compared to Hais but they hold many valuable resources that supply most all the other population. Welsh is run primarily by creatures Elvin creatures that are considered the most spiritually connected to the Avatars. They currently are peaceful with the nation of Hais and neither Kingdom has any reason to break the bond they share. The third Kingdom is different, however. The lands above ground are small for the Zempri people as they have lost countless wars against the mighty Kingdom of Hais. Because of this, the Zempri have been forced to move underground and live like rats out of sewers. The people are comprised of all manner of reject creatures: humans, orcs, daemons, and even elves. Overall, they are suffering more then any other country and demand revenge.

Magic: None yet however he does have a mysterious pendant worn around his neck given to him by his mother before she passed.

Personality: Prince Tidus has won over the hearts of his people with his generosity and kind hearted sympathy for the poor. He is what is called, “A man of the Poor.” Although his top priority is the people, he loves the chance for adventure.

Magic: Following the Avatar of Destruction, Aurelia has obtained powers similar to that of destruction. Like full bred daemon's, she bases her powers off of dark matter. Although, being only half her powers aren't quite as strong as a full bred.

History: You see that I wrote ( Secret ) Princess of Zempri right? Well it's a long story -- so we might as well begin it. -- The King of Zempri ( who shall go unnamed because you might have a name for him already xD ) was growing tired and weary of his wife. So what did he do? He, basically, had an affair with another woman. That woman being Aurelia's human mother ( assuming the king is a daemon himself ). Now, the affair was kept a secret, until the day her mother found out she was pregnant. Her mother, now carrying a half breed, pleaded to the King for help. Now the Queen herself, was furious. She had only recently found out about the affair and that just added salt to the wound. In the end, the King felt obligated to take care of his future daughter. However, they all agreed to keep this a secret. No one in the Kingdom of Zempri knew of this, only the Royal family themselves knew. -- Ever since that day, Aurelia has been kept hidden in the castle walls, as of today only a handful of people know that she is the King's daughter. Her mother has since passed away and often, those who do know of her secret look down upon her, including the Queen.

Personality: Aurelia grew up sheltered and was taught mostly by those loyal to Zempri. She has always believed that Zempri were the good guys and everyone else was bad; the other Kingdoms took away everything Zempri had and worked for. She was brought up to think that the other kingdoms would do anything to reveal her secret and that could lead to the downfall of their nation, so she's never told a soul. -- So basically, she's somewhat naive. Polite and well mannered, she always chooses to put others before her, just like her mother. That doesn't mean, however that she won't fight for what she believes in. In addition, Aurelia is somewhat reserved and distant.

Its great! Your accepted and you may come up with names for the King of Zempri and Queen. If anyone else enters, keep in mind that Welsh does not have a King but is controlled by a senate.

Notable oddities: he has burn marks on his chest from his first attempt at forging with his old master, as well as a strange tattoo on his arm he does not remember getting; it is shaped like a dragon’s head, and the resemblance to one is striking.

General clothing: boots, long light brown pants and a darker brown vest. In the winter, when not working at the forge, he still wears his boots, but wears thicker pants and a padded shirt.

Magic: though unrefined, he would have potential as a spellcaster. For now, he can heat up any weapon in his hand without melting it, thus giving him a flaming weapon.

Personality: Iaetus is a straightforward, down to earth type of person, though he dreams of a greater life than that of the village forge. However, he is content with it, for his place is the forge, making weapons and objects for everyday use.

Magic: Ilara uses her manipulation of water in both defensive and offensive situations, though rarely the latter. She abhors violence and tries to use her magic in ways simply to help and/or better her people and her country.

Personality: Quiet, shy, and practical are the three words that would describe Ilara best. She has an adventurous spirit and wanders all over her country in search of people to assist. Young, for an elf, she is still discovering her basic role in the world but is content with what she's doing..... For now.

I will also have list of NPC characters that everyone can control if come in contact with them, however, please RP them as they are described. Magic: He can bend air in many different ways, following the Wind Avatar, but usually only uses this power to speed up his movements. He can also become part of the wind himself, then again only does so when he is under extreme danger, as it takes up most of his energy.

History:
Darius was born in Welsh, just like the other elves were, and lived in peace there for six years before he and his family had to move. See, his father was framed a terrible crime, there was the evidence, though he had not done it, and so he and his family were thrown out of the country. The only possible place they could all go was to Zempri, as it was where others like them went, and after only six months they finally got settled down with a house and enough to last them. The first thing Darius had done when he reached the place was to explore alone when his parents weren't looking, and so he found a abandoned blade lying in the back of a house. Here, was the first time he had saw such a thing, and he began to 'play' with it, swinging and trying to lift it as long as he could.

He was not trained by anyone to master his art, practicing on his own ever since he was eight. A couple of years went by of practicing and challenging other people before he could enter into a competition to join the King's army. Darius had developed his own suitable style for swordsmanship, it involved using both hands in complicated ways, and doing the littlest with the most effect. In the contest, he managed to get a high scoring with effort, and was one of the first chosen to join. From there he worked his way up in the ranks, and by the early age of 16 he was admitted to be Aurelia's personal guard.

Even though he is a guard, he knows nothing of the details of the Royal Family, meaning that he doesn't know who Aurelia really is.

Weapons: His guitar is his main weapon. Using his music to manipulate fire, Dark matter, and dark energy.

Magic: Alexander has the unique ability to control dark matter and fire, he can make use of these powers via his guitar that he has learned to master over time. Forged in the magma of the centre of Hais.

Personality: Due to the countless battles he has witnessed, He has become very hostile towards the Hais kingdom. He is a very spiteful being, destroying anybody that likes to believe they are better than his people. Often a very quiet Daemon, usually letting his guitar do the talking.

History: Alexander is a quiet, and unsociable daemon. Although evil as he is, he is extremely talented and intelligent. His father was a famous historian of the kingdom Hais, also a very talented guitar player. His mother posessed the ability to control dark matter. In the vicious battles between his people and the kingdom of Hais, he has witnessed many dreadful sights. He has developed a unique fighting style, often draining away the life-force of his opponent, after he has sent a flourish of devasting attacks.

Weapons: Proficient in most weapon arts, but is most noted for his sword, the so-called 'Razor of Themia'. The sword does admittably have it's fair share of enchantments, but they come nowhere near matching the awesome powers spoken of in legend.
Magic: An article of truth in the blur of fiction, Artur does possess immense physical prowess; easily able keep pace with a charging horse... and perhaps pick it up and beat someone over the head with it, too. However, this is the limit to his 'magical' abilities, casting serious doubt on the more extreme variations of the myth that involve him flying through the air lobbing lightning bolts at Zempri soldiers.

History: 'Artur the Great' is a legend. Spoken of in the Themian Epic as the general who turned the tide of war against Zempri, conquered the Southlands, slew the Black Horror of Aalkania and beheaded Ru'Qharas IX, the last Zemprian king of the Rukareid Dynasty at the battle of Thris Gaeda. From these legends an entire genre of literature stems, 'Arturic' stories have been written across Hais for generations; tales ranging from romances with elven princesses, comedic encounters with the 'Laughing King' Areus IV to young children following the invincible hero on grand adventures in otherworldly locales... needless to say, in all the exaggeration over the years, the historical fact has been somewhat misplaced.

Exit, Artur the Great; the Legend, the Invincible, lover to many and father to more...

...Enter, Artur Ap'Cai; ...person.

While it is true that Artur was born in the Themian highlands at the height of Zempri's power, he served as an able lieutenant in the volunteer militia and rose through the ranks due to his ability as a tactician, not some Avatar-sent invincible warrior commanding the united hosts of good, justice and whathaveyou. He also looked nothing like the 'Artur' pictured in legend, being a young man of average height and build garbed in era-appropriate uniform for a man commanding a peasant militia and not a giant adonis bearing golden armour, long blond hair and a smile that made babies.

Some of the legends do have serious grounding in fact, though. It was under the command of Artur that the Themian Highlanders earned such a fearsome reputation as warriors, pushing Zempri's armies out of Themia, across the river Akaar and into the plains of the Southlands. He did face the Black Horror of Aalkania, but he killed it with his wits (and a few boulders) instead of his sword. Hell, he even really did chop off Ru'Qharas' head, but that was more of an unexpectedly successful act of defiance with a thrown sword that had been discarded as the king forced him through a hole in time and space, and not the conclusion to the legendary duel remembered in song.

This of course leads us to the present; Artur waking up in a farmer's field. Disoriented, nauseous and all around very confused.
