"Hey newbie......Newbie! Wake up!" His CO shouted as Jack's vision blurred as he awoke from the suttle flight, he found it easy to sleep in his conditioned suit which was actually rather comfortable. He said nothing, unbuckling himself and grabbing his duffel bag and his rifle. Exiting the ship he saw about 100 hundred Marines walking towards a large set of cargo lifts, taking them up a level which they could simply walk to their quarters. Jack noticed that he was one of the only ones wearing full body armor, several had helmets off and no gauntlets and sleeve protection and only gloves. Several just had helmets off but most had helmets on and sleeve protection off. He was a rookie to the Marines and had seen no to very little action. He boarded one of the cargo lifts and looked over the side, that was a rather long fall. Jack rarely talked and nobody talked to him, most were indulged in their own small conversations. He just stared at the ground until the cargo lift came to a halt and he got off, he would be told his orders soon but first he had to pick a bunk. He quickly approached and empty bed and threw his bag onto the bed. Then stuffed his miscallenous items into his locker and went to recieve his orders from his CO.


(Jack is supposed to be like one of those guys on videogames and things who rarely speak, like a mute but they actually communicate, history will be revealed soon.)
