i am currently seeking to start a small group or onexone with a sort of crossover - slash - fish out of water theme. basically mishmashing two or more genres & shows and seeing what happens to the characters of both.
my first idea is crossing dresden files with sailor moon. the idea is that harry adopted one of the senshi when they were a child and when they are older for one reason or another they are sent to japan and get called upon to fulfill their destiny. cue much panicking from harry as he tries to figure out what kind of deal the senshi are trying to pull.
( i realize i used harry as an example but most of the characters in this roleplay would be alternate versions of canons. so if you want harry to be a woman or the senshi to be american and not japanese, that's all fine. )
next idea is more of a crack-slash-slice of life comedy dealing again with a au character from the dresden files ( or any "series" magical show like harry potter or buffy ) who basically is called to japan and runs across various characters from different animes. this roleplay would be sort of episodic with each encounter being separate and the anime characters all being background characters for the most part. although i am willing to have repeat appearances if requested.
