In a small camping ground in the forest, near a cave that was rumored to be haunted, the group set up their tents and camp fire. Seated around the flames and stones, in the dark of the night, the kids were snuggled up in blankets and jackets, playing a game of Truth or Dare. Laughing it up, the inevitable finally happened: someone dared her to go swimming in the lake, which was inside the supposedly haunted cave. No one thought she would do it; she did. Everyone thought she would come running out screaming after about a minute; she didn't. After five minutes, they thought she was brave. After ten, they thought she was stupid. After fifteen, they started to get a bit worried. Eventually, they decided to go in after her, assuming she was probably just screwing with them on purpose and waiting for them to go in and drag her back out.
When they found the small lake inside the cave, they found out that dragging was the only way she would ever leave that cave. The girl had drowned, and after a few minutes of panic, the group dragged her body out of the water and stood, soaking wet, wondering what they should do. It was mostly their fault- after all, they dared her to go in, and they waited too long to go in after her. After a few minutes that seemed like hours, they half dragged half carried her body down a few of the tunnels and burried her. Then -against the will of one or two of the campers- they decided never to tell. They all had reputations to unhold, and there was no way the situation they had gotten themselves into was going to blow over easily if anyone found out.
They couldn't go home just yet, because they were supposed to be there for two weeks and had only been there two days- going home early, especially that early, would look suspicious. Besides that, they still had to come up with a cover story, think up what they were going to tell people when they got home without her, and people asked where she went and why.
Then, weird things start to happen. At first they thought it was just a few pranks being played by someone within the group, but eventually, it became obvious that their suspicions were wrong. It seems that someone outside of their group knows what happened to her, what they did- and isn't exactly happy about it.
