It has been many ages since the world was emersed in the world of mythology, ruled by the will of Gods and Goddesses who represented various aspects of nature within the cosmos. Our story begins in the Golden Age of Mythology, where humanity cowered before the supremacy of Immortals as the world was plagued by monsters and demons.

This is not merely a story from the human perspective. This tale is that of the Immortals...the Gods and Goddesses who meddled in the affairs of mortals, each with their own virtue and vices.

Life is peaceful in the Mortal World for now...well, peaceful is a relative term. Perhaps...fairly less turbulent would be a more accurate statement. Regardless, there is unrest spiraling from an unknown source. It is a world of peace, but it will not always remain as such. The prospect of war is on the horizon, but where will the lines be drawn? Who will be villains and who will be heroes?

It is the Golden Age of the Gods, a time for heroes to rise. Are you up for the challenge?

Obviously, this is a roleplay which focuses on the lives of the Ancient Gods and Goddesses. The setting is currently in the western world, primarily Ancient Greece. Players will be allowed to choose their characters from a list comprising of ancient dieties from mythologies of the ancient mythology, but considering the setting, the list will ONLY contain dieties from Greek and Norse Mythology.
In the OOC Board, the list will be chosen. HOWEVER, players will always be allowed and recommended to create human characters, as well as other species (Centaurs, Saytres, Nymphs, Dryads, Minotaurs, etc.) and half-breeds. Character Sheets will be created for submitted characters, and all submissions must be deemed approved before beginning.
(Also, For those playing ancient dieties, you must still fill out the character sheet for him/her. Looking at the bright side, you can look at their myths for assistance)

Nolsen gazed over his lands from his mountain-top palace. Atlantis was a land of rolling hills, lush plains, beautiful coasts and, in contrast, a few mountain ranges. Many cities with formiddable walls were scattered across the land, some on the coast and in bays, some next to and around rivers, some by lakes and others in the hills or plains.

He turned his friendly and watchful eyes to his Centaur and Satyr populations. After many years of fighting that nearly resulted in extinction on all sides they had agreed to a treaty of cooperation where they shared borders as well as control of government, which was composed of a powerful Senate with the Emperor at it's head, there had been a few Centaur emperors and one Satyr emperor, but most of them had been human so far, as the Senate chose a successor after the emperor died and humans were deemedproficient most of the time, though the emperor is growing old and people whisper that the next one shall be the great warrior-centaur Pericles II.

Tyrcium, the capital of the Atlantean Empire sat on the foothills of a mountain towering above a large bay. Wharfs and docks were plentiful, and trade no new thing there.

He heaved a contented sigh and desided to visit his Mainland siblings and cousins. "I'll visit Greece first, I think." he said to himself.
