fair warning (of sorts), i type in OOC areas without consistent capitalization. i've gotten way to attached to this style. it, by no means, reflects how i write posts.

anyhow, howdy. i'm Pinchot and if you recognize that name for the famous man who once had it, you will be my best friend no matter if you want to or not. i regret to inform you that there is no choice in this matter. prepare yourself, friend.

on another note, i've been roleplaying since i could remember. same with writing. my father encouraged me to invent stories as a child. the moment i could do simple math i was taught to play D&D with my father and his buddies till i could play with their kids and have my own group of ner- friends. one day i learned of the amazing world of text-based-roleplay on the Internet through AvidGamers and AcornRack. it opened the door to engaging me in creative writing and experiencing so many amazing, creative, minds which resided there and collaborated with me.

beyond roleplaying i'm a wildlife biologist and a computer technician. i do vanish for a day or two to do work with everything ranging from osprey blood sampling to sitting at a meeting about elks damaging someone's landscaping. good times.

i'm hoping to join a roleplay once i get a feel for this site. generally, i like modern fantasy or very odd settings that are like the written equivalent of Salvador Dali paintings. those are rare ones, but i have high hopes that one might show up eventually. otherwise i might have to get back into the business of making roleplays. hohoho. feel free to shoot me suggestions here or in private messages. i am probably the bes- friendliest individual you'll meet.
