It was uncomfortable, this silence, there was something almost something eerie about it. But Zene was used to eerie, if anyone thought of attacking the new student there'd have a fight on their hands. After all it was against the rules to attack newcomers, no matter what species they were. As he moved onwards the feeling worsened, but he tried his best to focus on the surroundings and direction in which they were going. 'They are many different classrooms.' He said breaking the quiet, 'the closest is actually within the forest, but I'd suggest we take the ones within the academy for now.'
From behind them a flurry of wings caused Zene to look back, just in time to see what looked like a wood pigeon swerve off into the sky.
Xavier watched the bird flutter away, his pale blue eyes following its path with ease. He had come to pay a visit to his pack days before, after gaining permission from the Headmaster. It was good to see them getting on so well under his sisters control. Together they'd hunted and chatted over the passed few weeks he'd missed without them. However, as his time ran out with his family pack, he sadly had to return to the academy. It was unfortunate but had to be done. Pushing away his ponderings he turned his attention back to the small group of students. They were quite a fair way from the building; it was rare to see so many together in a tiny pack like this.
As their scent drifted his way, he felt his hackles rise. A human. They had a human with them. What was a creature like that doing so close to the academy? In agitation he prowled around the borders of the forest for a better look. From what he could see, it was a female. Good, at least it wasn't one of those male beasts. He knew that they always seemed to harbour a gun somewhere upon their body, hiding it from the others until the time was right. Maybe he should follow the pack... He could get closer to the human at one point or another. Ask why she was here, or if the creature was holding a weapon, he could dispose of her.
