Sculptured is a roleplay about a backwards society where the Arts are considered the basis of life and intelligence in any other topic, like math or science, is considered mostly unimportant. There's those who have an interest in the Arts, and those who create the Arts, those who were practically born with their talents and have had all their lives to develop them, those who can do things naturally. These are the people you might consider...Gifted.

However, the Gifted do not live happy, satisfying lives. They live like songbirds, locked away in their dorms at all points of the day unless they're taking an Art class for their talent, or having a personal lesson, or eating in the dining hall. Their lives are watched constantly. They are not allowed to see their families--if they even remember them. Some were taken from their families when they were very young. It's a miserable life, and the things they used to love, the talent they have that they should be exploring and enjoying, no longer has anything to do with expression and only has to do with pleasing strangers.

The people of this society have accepted the way the things are, but now that we have a newer generation growing up, they're starting to realize how wrong things are. The "Average" people want to be the ones on top and the Gifted people no longer want to be jailed like they are. They want out. They want change. They're going to start a revolution. That is, if the King doesn't get involved first.
