Aaliyah Kane always loved writing and always dreamed of that perfect life in New York City. Well after leaving her small hometown in Vermont she set out to pursue her dream. After graduation she got everything she asked for, a job editing a distinguished fashion magazine, an apartment that overlooks the city, and a boyfriend she plans to marry soon. Life was perfect and she thought it always would be. That was until one day she received a phone call explaining that her parents were killed in a car accident. Her world flipped upside down, she couldn't let the state take her siblings, and in her parents will they made it clear should anything happen to them, Aaliyah was to take care of her brothers and sisters. That's exactly what she does, taking all five of them into her two bedroom apartment.
Now it's Aaliyah, her boyfriend, her two sisters, and three brothers all living under one roof. Talk about chaotic.
