As most anyone can see, we have a pretty wide skill base in this roleplay. In some manners this is good, but in others, it is not. Those players who know a lot about roleplaying and the technicalities of English might find it more difficult to roleplay with those who are new to roleplaying and don't know too much about the complex specifics of English, and they are complex. Conversely, those with little experience might find it hard to keep up with and even understand those who have roleplayed for years.
My point here is that I personally see roleplayers here at pretty much every skill level. If those at the higher skill level help those with less experience, this roleplay and all future roleplays played by those whom were taught will turn out much better. As for myself, I see myself as an inter-advanced player: someone whom has roleplayed for a few years and knows a lot, but still has quite a bit to learn.
I want to see this roleplay succeed and continue on for a while, as the concept is great and the characters here have a chance to create some fantastic arcs. In order to do that, we need to help each other grow as this rp grows. I realize this all seems a little happy-go-lucky-ish, but everyone, no matter what your skill is now, used to absolutely suck at roleplaying and the English language at some point.
So, I am asking those with experience to be lenient, and attempt to help out those who ask for it. For those of you who want help, I am most certainly willing, and I am sure others will come forward as well. I'll post some general tips tomorrow that I learned long ago and still use to this day, as it is currently 4:30am....
Anyways, post a reply if willing to help or looking for help. Or, if you'd prefer, send myself a message instead, your choice.
