Lily felt her mind wander a bit. She had just woken up from another of her nightmares. She felt as if she was missing something, a crucial part of her past that she simply could not remember. She remembered when she had been around 7 or 8 years old when something dreadful had happened. Yet she could not remember for the life of her what had happened all those years ago on that fated night. It had been dark, she was sure of that, and rainy as well. There had been two people, or three, maybe there had been a boy. She couldn't remember very much, but for the last few weeks she hadn't been able to get the silly dream out of her head. It was different, but somehow the same. There was always a man in her dream, a young one, very handsome, yet he seemed dark and almost evil. It scared her to a great extent every time he haunted her dreams. She'd wake up in a cold sweat, alone and scared.

Lily sighed as she put her feet against the cool wood of her bedroom floor. It was around midnight and she knew she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep for an hour or two. She had to calm her mind down and assure herself that everything was okay, dreams were dreams after all and they never meant anything. She slipped into a pair of jeans and grabbed a hoodie before she moved out of her bedroom, she walked through her small living space to grab her keys before she left her small apartment. She headed down the stairs a bit tiredly as she came to the sidewalk. She just needed to clear her head, and then she would go back to bed and in the morning she'd be fine.

Normal people didn't like the dark, normal people hated being outside alone late at night, but Lily wasn't normal. She had a feeling there was something different with her even though she wasn't different. She loved the dark and she liked the quiet peacefulness of it. It meant that the world was mostly sleeping and she wouldn't be disturbed. Her small form blended well with the shadows as she was wearing dark clothes, her wavy hair was up in a loose bun as she made her way down an alley way that she'd been down before. Her mind was so occupied with her dream that she wouldn't have noticed someone come up to her.

((Sorry if it isn't the best, I've been working on a boat load of homework and had to squeeze this in now.))

((Kyah, I feel terrible for not getting to this soon. I have been falling behind in many of my role plays, sorry. But I will begin now.))

It was a night like any other night as the gentleman strolled casually around the late-night sidewalks of town. Stealing the hearts of many and when one would least expect it, broken them. And if the one he broke dared to persist, they would find to their dismay that their heart will not be the only thing he would break. It was because of his vampire genes, not only were his senses enhanced but his strength had doubled as well. He was still relishing the crime he had committed just moments ago in a darkened alleyway. The young girl had a pretty face, it was a shame that it had been literally smashed until it was unrecognizable, crimson liquid seeping into the concrete her corpse laid on. It was evident that the girl did not know what she was up against before he killed her with his own hands. If the police were still roaming around these times at night, it would not be long until the body of dear Mariah Greene was discovered.

In Seiji's eyes, the girl was only a meal and it was because she thought what they had for those few hours was love, it led to her dreadful fate. The blood that remained not only on his talons but on his crisp white shirt glistened like a snowflake in the winter time under the moon's pallid light. He fled from what the humans would call a 'murder scene.' Dear Mariah was such tedious company anyway. It was not long until a grimace danced over the gentleman's lips. If he had not rushed his way on that girl, he would have realized that he would have to deal with his biggest dislike: the combination of alcohol and warm blood. The taste on the male's lips were beyond foul. From here, only Seiji could hope that the taste would subside.

Now that the girl was out of his problems, it was now time to search for something new. Yes, he needed to find something new to play with until they too grew dull in his eyes. He was tired of targeting the obviously easy people of this world, despite how easy of a meal they were. Seiji enjoyed challenges, and he needed one badly. However this problem was solved when his eyes caught sight of a radiantly lovely young woman walking around alone. Now, was the time to play. Seiji smirked deviously before following the young woman, his pace increasing but not made obvious.

Lily rubbed the back of her neck as chills ran down her back. She suddenly felt very uncomfortable. She looked around the dark alley and for once regretted having left her apartment. She quickened her steps as she almost felt a cold breath down her neck. She looked over her shoulder as she was practically running now. Something didn't feel right, but she also felt like she should stop and hold back. She felt confused, but didn't slow down. She was so close to coming to the street. She just had to get out of the alley and she'd be out in the open, hopefully enough so that she would be safe from whatever she was feeling scared from.

Lily saw the large crack in the ground before her foot caught against it. Unfortunately she tripped and couldn't catch herself so she flew forward and landed very hard against the ground. She groaned and turned over, her jeans had ripped and her knee was bleeding badly. She gasped as she saw the blood flowing from her knee. She frowned to herself as her sudden fear disappeared with the pain of her gash. Lily carefully poked it before hissing quietly as it stung greatly. She could see a lot of gravel and loose rubble in her knee, but also a piece of scrap metal had lodged deeply in her knee causing her pain as she couldn't bend her knee any longer without getting the feeling it was severing something in her knee.

The vampire felt the adrenaline rush vigorously throughout his veins as he could almost taste the fear that ran high on this girl's lips. A fear that felt so tangible that if he were to take the the young woman by the waist and kiss her fervently, he would be capable of sucking the emotion out of her body. Not that he wanted for that to happen, for a meal that quivered with fright was much more pleasing than a meal that was too easy to obtain. Seiji watched the girl beginning to run from where he could see her, her steps transitioning from quick pitter patters to the sprinting she was doing. From there if he wanted to persist on this one, he would have to follow suit and appear as if to be chasing her. But it was very late in the night, no one would see them. No one would point fingers and accuse the young man for chasing the helpless young woman. Not a singly person.

It was as if luck had stroked the very hair on his head when he saw his prey falling to the ground. This fall given him the upper hand on what he planned on doing with this very girl. However what caught him off-guard was the deep cut that developed on the girl's knee. Watching the blood run quickly down to the rigged part of her jeans, temptation began to heighten. The blood tempting him to do more than just taking her into his possession, somethings far more.

Coming closer until he was of eye view of the girl, he slowed his steps. His stalking-like pace slowing down until it looked as if he too was just casually walking around this time of night. He approached the girl, a delicate grin danced over his handsome lips. "Good evening Miss, it appears that you are injured. Perhaps I could be of assistance?" Seiji crouched so that he could meet the same eye level as the girl, the darkness of the night shadowing half of his face.

The pain in Lily's knee increased as she tried to move it. She bit her lower lip as the tears sprung to her eyes. She didn't hear the other figure until he was practically next to her. She looked up at him surprised, but her face showed no fear as only pain was in her face. She looked down before she looked back at his face. He seemed familiar, but she didn't know why. She shrugged the feelings off as she stared at him. Half of his face was visible as the rest was hidden in a shadow as she stared into his face. Something seemed different about him, and that made her frightened, but she ignored it because she needed the help. She couldn't walk on her own and probably wouldn't even be able to crawl out of there. Her dark eyes looked into his as she looked back to her knee which was not stopping at all with the blood flow.

"Please, I need help," she nodded her head as she closed her eyes trying to block out the pain. "I feel like my knee has been severed," she laughed hollowly before she broke into a sob. The blood continued to flow from her knee so much that she did not notice anything different about him. Even if she was in a lot of pain, she still had a feeling of familiarity as he was crouched down next to her. Why? She had never met him before, she did not recognize him at all and yet it felt as though there was something more to him.

Devious lips curled into a kind smile as his dark eyes looked down to the sobbing young woman. Ah yes, what easy way to obtain a meal than to have them play a the easy yet dulling role of damsel in distress. Truthfully, if his meal was in need of help, most days he would not even give them a second look. But this time, for a reason still unknown to him, it was much different. He leaned his head closer, the moon's pallid light now showing his complete and handsome face. "As a gentleman, allow me to do anything in my power to make those tears go away." Seiji's tone of voice almost sounded melodious as he spoke to the injured girl, a melodious nocturne dare most say to describe his voice. The smile softened slightly reaching out a pale hand and ever so gently flicking off a tear that ran down the girl's cheek.

"For the time being, the bleeding will have to came to a halt." Seiji said sternly looking at the stream of blood running down her knee. Oh yes, to lap up all of that blood would be most glorious to his vampire lusts. But the line between Seiji as a vampire and Seiji as a gentleman could only go so far. With quick hands, he removed the metal fragment out of the girl's knee. The aftermath causing twicec as much blood to flow freely. "Dear god if he truly does exist," The white blond gentleman muttered to himself before removing his coat and quickly began to unfasten the buttons of his shirt. As each button came undone exposed a little more of his chiseled magnificence. He paid no mind to the obvious blood stains from the earlier meal as he took the very shirt and wrapped it around the injury. "This should stop the bleeding until we reach my home." He told her quickly after placing his overcoat back on.

Without any warning, the seemingly young vampire took both arms and scooped the young woman into his arms. Staggering slightly at first due to the sudden shift of weight he was carrying, but soon after the staggering had stopped and he was capable of walking normally.

Lily looked at him, the tears fell down her face violently as the pain increased a little. She watched him, but didn't register much as she was concentrating on the pain. She watched him for a moment as his head moved closer. She took in a sharp breath, but not because of the pain. Now she could see his face, which was quite beautiful. She stared at him for a moment, but the pain easily came back and gave her a quick reality check. She clenched her teeth, but his words caused her to be distracted for a moment. Her mind went blank for a few seconds as he flicked a tear away. An unconscious sigh escaped through her mouth as she wanted something to happen. Her mind caught up and she couldn't believe she had thought those thoughts.

Lily saw a hunger in his eyes, but she had a feeling it wasn't really for her body, like a normal man. She listened to him and agreed. Her skin had paled very much and she could feel herself becoming weak quickly. Lily's mind wasn't really there, but as he pulled the metal fragment out she screamed at the top of her lungs as she felt it slice through more of apart of her knee and tendons. Her hands shot out and grabbed him before they squeezed as she tried to relieve the pain. She pulled away and wanted to curl her knee, but that would cause more pain. The tears came down more violently as her sobs were so close that she was having a hard time breathing between them. She noticed the blood, but couldn't connect the dots as it seemed like her blood since her's was everywhere.

She felt him pick her up. She instantly wrapped her arms around her neck as pain shot through her knee from the sudden movement. She quiet her cries, but she jerked every now and again from the sobs racking her chest. "Make the pain stop," she gasped as her tears were getting his shoulder wet.
