I hope everything here is in accordance with the technological limits of the demons' world. If not let me know and I will immediately edit.

General Overview

Vincent Aruhiek reigns over the northernmost kingdom of Erebus, a frozen, desolate wasteland whose frigid, harsh winds and endless winter have tempered the inhabitants into iron-willed warriors who are then forged into soldiers by the strict training of Vincent's military camps. Erebus is a nation whose entire population has been trained for war; whenever Erebus goes to war, the entire nation becomes a massive war camp, and everything, the economy, the government, the entire nation is geared entirely towards war. However, otherwise Erebus is a neutral nation; it rarely comments on the going-ons of the world, making it a sort of sleeping giant.

As far as technology goes, however, outside of weaponry and military technology, Erebus is surprisingly behind its counterparts. For the civilian people of Erebus, hovercrafts are laughable--how lazy the people of other kingdoms must be to desire such things! Though the military enjoys first rate technology, among the best in the world, the general populace, when not training in the military, has only technology on par with the late 1930s or early 1940s in the world of humans.

Erebus places a heavy emphasis on industry. Much of the nation is taken up by massive coal, gas, and oil plants that pump out huge amounts of resources to power Erebus's war machine. The nation is criss-crossed with railroads that are traveled by gargantuan trains used to transport soldiers, vehicles, weaponry, and materials to and from major centres; these trains are what allow Erebus to move into a state of war so quickly, transporting weapons and soldiers from one side of Erebus to the other in little time.

Erebus's geography is largely tundra, with snowy plains in the southernmost provinces. Forests made up of towering fir trees sprout up sporadically, and blizzards, especially ruthless in the north, are common. Cities exist in small areas, but most of Erebus's vast territory is simply great expanses of ice, frost, and snow.

Erebus's capital is Venka; a sprawling megalopolis that accounts for over half of Erebus's nonmilitary population. In Erebus's cities, it is common to see soldiers and tanks walking down the street as if it is an everyday sight, because it is an everyday sight. The military under Vincent Aruhiek's control plays a huge part in the everyday life of Erebus; though they are not oppressive, the soldiers and tanks serve to create an atmosphere of control and security. Vincent himself lives in a great fortress at the very northernmost wastes of Erebus; the fortress, connected to all central railroads and defended heavily, is perhaps one of the most well defended single points throughout the land.

Wow, this is a really nice idea. I should probably submit something here as well I suppose. It won't be much though. I'm not very creative.

Kamegaoka -
This kingdom is known for its cold climates. The place is always around the 30's and 40's being its highest peak. The kingdom is made of huts and the main castle is the only large building there. There are at least 50,000 people living there and the market sells mainly fish from nearby rivers or ponds and they also sell meat. Vegetables and fruits are rare and are considered delicacies.

Overview:
Image
Kamegaoka normally looks like this but everywhere you go.

The military power in Kamegaoka is very powerful but it is extremely quiet and secretive. They are rarely attacked but when they are they have plenty of backup.
Their military consists of elite soldiers who are based on speed and tactical strategies.
Image

Only the military have the high-tech equipment that the rest of the kingdom doesn't have.
Image

Image

Zante resides in a large, underground base that is called the Crystal Vault. It's the only building where it is guarded by his officials. In the marketplace or the gates to the kingdom, the guarding is limited.

Re: [OOC] Kingdom Information

Enviorment - Kraidy is a very industrious capital, with many
technological feats. The surrounding area is mountainous and rocky having all sorts of natural minerals, jewels, and metals. They are the chief exporter of metals out of all the kingdoms. As one of Gloriyah's advisors said...
We have the other Kingdoms by the balls, you see.... If they declare war on little Kraidy, then we stop shipping metal to that Kingdom and their allies. Sure they can get it elsewhere, but with almost 70% of exported metal coming from us, their armored divisions will dwindle to sticks, while ours will prosper.

However, Gloriyah doesn't see it quite like that. She likes having key resources; it makes her feel as if her Kingdom was important. And seeing how she isn't at war yet, she sees no reason to not help the other countries. While Erebus controls natural energy such as coal and oil, she makes sure that they continue to supply their own goods in exchange...not that Erebus and Kraidy are on friendly terms, but they've never been at each other's throats, either. Secretly, however, most of her kingdom's military is electronic anyway. She simply turns and sells the resouces she got from Erebus to her allies at discount prices. This process helps out her allies, as well as Erebus, seeing how they've lost nothing important in the process.

The Capital of Kraidy is Wren, named after Gloriyah's mother, and first queen of Kraidy. Unlike most of Kraidy's inner cities, which have strong military presence, Wren seems to be a place of peace, and relaxation. Though soldiers presense is still there, it's rare to see weapons of war, such as tanks or armor there. If war were declared on Kraidy, they would sign a pact saying that Wren wouldn't be a target of attack, and the inner city of Breek, would serve as the Kingdom's capital instead.
While war is inevitable, that does not mean innocent people have to be torn by it. Leave them their homes and their children, and most importantly, their lives. Or would you rather be a heartless monster whom tortures children. It's understandable if you are, you foul, ugly wretch. You are a demon, after all. And though your appearance is all pretty and nice, it still cannot hide what you are: A monstrosity.
-Gloriyah

Military

While Gloriyah feels guns are unfair, and show weakness due to the very little skill used to...use them, she also knows that only fools fight fair.

Soldiers - Gloriyah maintains a particularly large number of footsoldiers, due to their varrying equipment for specialized jobs. Basic armor looks somewhat like this, though some have jetpacks, while others have energy-baised shields on their arms.

Image
The specialized armor is made out of silvered kevlar and carbon fiber. The chest has a segmented piece of fiberglass to absorb impact from high caliber weapons. All of them have specialized registered sensors that prevent friendly tripmines or sound alarms. However, these are turned off, and registered KIA if the soldier inside is killed. Meaning one could not take these, and simply put them on. Once a soldier is registered KIA, they will trip mines, and set off alarms.

The 20mm round that the railgun fires is going faster than Mach 10. And for those of you are terrible with mm to caliber conversion, 20mm roughly converts to .79 cal, 29 higher than the raved .50 BMG.... So in layman's terms: You're fucked.)

Adunia is a long standing Monarchy that has been controlled by Varrick since its founding over a millenia ago. The Kingdom is surrounded by dense forests with only two roads leading in and out of the Kingdoms walls. Adunia itself can be thought of as one massive city, the white walls of the capital, Nura, extending anywhere there isn't trees.

Image

The city appears as a technological paradise from a distance, seemingly lacking any pollution (most likely due to Varrick using his power).

Resources:

Adunia is known for its clean water and exotic wildlife. As such it serves as a the largest agricultural hub, supplying food and sometimes even water itself to the other Kingdoms.

Military:
Surrounding Nura is the pentagon. Five forts stationed at each corner of the Kingdom, with one resting in the Port itself. Connecting each port is a series of tunnels with rapid transit between them. The military is divided into three branches, Air, Sea, Earth. The Air is composed of veteran soldiers, all given the same model aircraft, Seraph IV. The craft is designed for quick, effective attacks.
Image

The Earth is composed of primarily foot soldiers, all given standard issue weapons and armor of Adunia.
Image

However, The Earth has a sub-branch known as the Dark Rangers. Equipped with the most advanced weapons technology can supply, they operate independently. They spend most of their time mapping the dense forest, something that has been fifty years in the making. They are trained primarily in bladed weapons and sniper rifles, turning the forest into their playground.
Image

The Sea is the pride of Adunia, as it contains The Black Boa. The deadliest weapon in the sea, many Kingdoms tell their soldiers to retreat if they see it. The strangest thing about the ship is the fact its actually White.

Will post my stuff here :( Wasn't expecting all of this so obiously i need to step it up lol.
also BTW, Hovercraft can't stop or turn on the dime, theirs no friction and so the laws of physics won't allow it. Putting that in there.

also, railguns on tanks...... guys. you do know that in order for the railgn to be effective it is going to have to be large, which means your tanks are going to have to be really big and really slow. On top of this, the cannon would take the majority of the power for the tank meaning that the thing would be relativly imobile while shooting or charging.

Why not just use advanced modern day cannonry and save rail guns for artillary, it would be alot more effective. Though feel free to keep it, my armor can handle it and my Katana MBT can deal with your rail gun tanks easily enough.

I'm honestly not too well-versed in weapon technology, but I'm assuming that within two hundred years railgun technology would have been quite perfected beyond the level it is at currently.

As for your armour handling it, unless your tank has enough armour to basically make it immobile, I'm pretty sure it would not withstand a direct hit--I doubt any tank could withstand a direct hit from such weaponry.

I'm just saying. I doubt there's much point in bickering over such things, since the information on the tanks and such are just there for people to read. The focus of the RP is not warfare between the kingdoms but rather the plot between the demons and the humans.

Also, I take it the demons are taking the humans? I had assumed previously that the humans were somehow taken to the demon kingdom not by the demons' doing XD

Yes, the demons will be taking the humans, unless the demon sends a scout to get them instead. It's fine either way.

Saar

Overview:
Saar is a small, rural “kingdom” with very few people living in it. It is ruled by a monarchy that is a little loose. It is almost entirely inhabited by demonic creatures with form shifting abilities. Most of the demons resemble animal commonly found in the forest or jungle. The buildings in Saar are made mostly of cement/concrete and the trees found around it. Saar is found near several lakes and rivers, which has lead to many of the houses being made to put up with the water. Some of the buildings can be found in the trees, attached to higher limbs, but these are smaller and usually only made as homes.

http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs27/f/2009/ ... storms.jpg

People:
True Form:
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c124/ ... onWolf.jpg

Human Form:
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd16 ... guy371.png

Most of Saar’s people are demons that can morph into humanoid forms. They remain in these forms, but they all of a true form normally resembling that of an animal. They all have a good bit of fighting talent, but the “kingdom” is so low in population they can’t do much in the world. They also lack resource, which leads to even the workers being forced to come when war is need. The people of Saar can be easily confused by higher technology then there’s, which is just about everything. Almost all of Saar’s people can specialize in quick and light movement. It is easy to hire a Saarian to fight for you, if you have the money and will give them the equipment. Saarians also specialize in animals, often knowing just how to tame or kill just about any local beast. All Saarians have burningly obnoxious accents. They are what humans would consider Russian.

War:
Saar doesn’t usually like war, seeing that its small population makes it very hard to ever win. Saar is most commonly considered mercenaries who are up for hire to do just about anything. When Saar does get into a war, they have specialized ranks, but not much to help. They are most likely to attack you late at night, when they have the cover of darkness. When it comes down to it, the people Saar has are all rather powerful; there just aren’t enough of them.

Foot soldiers:
http://news.technophile.eu/wp-content/u ... ldiers.jpg

These units are typical soldiers.

Hunters:
http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd35 ... arrior.jpg

Odd warriors that are more commonly used as assassins. They are the best at using the shadows to hide as well as the best at pretending they are on the other team.

Cavalry:
http://static.desktopnexus.com/thumbnai ... mbnail.jpg

Typical Cavalry. They ride horses with armor. The horses have been trained to walk quietly and quickly, but cannot take much damage.

Riders:
http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en ... 03&bih=598

Demons who ride other animals. They all wear masks and hide completely from society. There are few of them, very few.

Ground Crawlers:
http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs26/f/2008/ ... ncilor.jpg

Due to the lack of ability to build much weaponry, there are approximately 5 of these wonderful inventions in Saar. Each one of them is piloted by a single unit who has been trained to not get himself killed. They are equipped with chain guns on opposite sides and a small barreled gun in the “tail.” As with most of Saar’s weaponry, the Ground Crawler has been built to move and look like an animal.

Sub-unit:
http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs46/i/2009/ ... Takaya.jpg

These Sub-units are non-piloted mecha with very little success rate. They are remote controlled from afar and are only useful when a water rider is not available. They look like fish and move like fish, which can help them remain hidden from enemy forces though. They are the most commonly destroyed unit of Saar. Not many of them.

Air-unit:

http://idesigniphone.net/wallpapers/00348.jpg

These are the most powerful and largest units in Saar. There are so few of them that Saar almost never uses them though. They are built with huge wings and move like a lizard when on the ground. They are piloted by one, but can carry three. They are found high in the air, far from other forces.

Weaponry:

Saarains don’t have much, so they don’t have very great weaponry.

Swords and Shields:
Most of the Saarians don’t have very up-to-date weaponry. The instead use swords and shields. They’re talented with them though. Many a Saarian could take down even the most talented gunners.

Popper:

http://www.best22cal.com/images/beretta ... _black.jpg

This is a rather generic old style pistol. It hold 5 bullets and has very little kickback, but a good bit of power. Not many of these can be found with the stronger units, but some foot soldiers are known to carry them.

Shotter:
http://www.imfdb.org/images/3/36/T2heroShotgun1.jpg

This is extremely old style shotgun, but it’s all that Saarians know how to make. Once again found with foot soldiers. It’s a two shot gun, you reload a lot

Chainer:
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d81/B ... aingun.png

This gun fires round very quickly. It has quite a few bullets in it, but it runs out fast none the less. It’s far too heavy to just be carried; only some of the strongest Saarians would think of such a thing. They can be mounted on Ground Crawlers and sometimes on mounts.

I
 Think that’s good enough
.. Boy... If Saar gets into a war... They will DIE.
"If one is born in a world that creates insanity, does being normal make them mad? Or is it those who fit in with the society that are the crazy ones? What is normality? What is insanity? If twins are such a rare occurrence in one world, does it make them strange, when they are so common in another? If a man grins all of the time, but others do too, does that make him a freak? There is only one freak, and that is the man that stands alone... Don't you agree?"

"Freakshow?"
