Welcome to St. Lewis we are one of the best schools for the gifted and supernatural I, your headmistress, Lorna Roxby am proud to welcome you to St. Lewis' and hope you enjoy your stay at our wonderful boarding school. I will now talk about the dorms that you the students will be staying in, there are 5 different dorms they are:
Hawthorn the nature dorm, Moonshire the night dorm, Sundaw the fire dorm, Frostmire the ice dorm and the guest dorm.

History:
Maria was born October 31st in a small town in England. She was the third child born to Alexia and Alfred Phillips, and had two older siblings, five year old Christian and three year old Anna. Her father was disappointed she wasn't a boy, but both her parents loved her all the same. Maria was fairly normal for a while, and settled well in school, until she was fourteen. In secondary school, she fell in with a group of people who liked alternative music. None knew their real names, because they only used their nicknames. The figureheads of the group were "Jesus Of Suburbia", "King For A Day" and "Echelon". Echelon was the one who introduced Maria to the group, and gave her the nickname of "Whatsername". Maria and Echelon became very friendly, and soon, Echelon convinced the other two to let Maria join their more select group. Maria loved it, but when she was fifteen, a group of chavs attacked her when she was going home after meeting them one night. Convinced she was just another stupid emo cutter, they jumped her, and told her that if she wanted to kill herself so bad, they'd do it for her.

They had no idea what Maria was capable of, and neither did she. In the darkness of the alley they dragged her into, Maria panicked, and in her minds eye, visualised people coming to help, dragging the chavs off her and laying into them. It was then the shadows themselves changed, becoming the people Maria had imagined. Terrified, she raced from the alley, and when she went home, she fell into bed. Her parents were gone for the weekend, the only people there being her siblings. Her fear affected them too, causing them to have nightmares about what Maria couldn't get out of her head. Maria continued as normal for a while, before confessing to her family what happened, and showing them what she could do. She was sent to St. Lewis' afterwards, because they were afraid of her.

Personality:
Before her attack, Maria was an open, friendly girl. She spoke her mind, never sugar-coated anything, and made sure she got her opinion across. She could be violent as well, but it was all in good fun.

Ever since her family sent her away, Maria has become very bitter and sarcastic, angry at the world for giving her the powers, making her a freak of nature. She gets offended easily, and uses her abilities on anyone who slights her. She's frustrated with herself and with her family, and has built up walls around herself, so no-one get close to her, and hurt her like her family did.

Appearance:
Maria stands at 5'7", with pale skin, and dark hair. Her eyes are a very light grey, looking white in certain lights, and always surrounded by dark cricles, partly from the make-up she wears, and partly because she suffers from insomnia.

Maria eats very little, living mostly on caffeine, and is very skinny. She dresses mostly in dark colours, and her nails are always painted black. One of Echelon's friends was a tattooist, and so gave Maria free tattoos, despite her being underage. He gave her angel's wings on her back, which only a few people have seen, and tattooed "Whatsername" on her left bicep. She also has a hand holding a heart-shaped hand grenade on the inside of her wrist, and abover her heart, she has a knife wrapped in barbed wire, meaning she doesn't want anyone going after her. Shortly after she left, she found some barbed wire and made a bracelet from it, which she never takes off. Her wrist is covered in multiple scratches and cuts from it, but she doesn't care.

Abilities:Controls plants and the esarth (terramancy)
History: Lily grew up with her powers and found it harder and harder to keep control of them. The only person who even knew she had the powers, was her grandmother, who also had powers, passed away before Lily could have proper training. As she enterted muddle school, ids began to pick on her, because of her appearance, which made her loss control, showing her true abbilities. Luckily her parents saw how special this could be and sent her St. Lewis School for the gifted.
Personality: She is a rather gentle hearted person, but won't be walked over. She can stick for herself and loves to help others. Sometimes she can be a bit stubborn, but she usually gets her point across if it is important enough. She is smart and some what funny every once in a while.

Abilities: Create and manipulate ice.
History: He lived with his parents for most of his life until he started freezing things when he had tantrums. They dropped him off at St. Louis's when he was 10, he's never seen them again since then. This has had some affect on his personality.
Personality: Quiet, Keeps to himself alot of the time, but he is very clever and can be quite spiteful. He can usually be found scribbling in the leather bound book he carries with him.

Name: Kokumo Gharran

Age: 17

Dorm: Hawthorn the Nature Dorm

Abilities: Can talk to animals, slight psychic abilities (telekinesis)

History: Kokumo lived with her father, deep in the Amazon Rainforest in a cabin and luckily away from any possibly cannibal tribes living in the local area. Kokumo's mother was killed when Kokumo was only a baby by a poisonous spider bite. Every since his wife was killed by something that seemed so insignificant, Kokumo's father made sure his home was always spotlessly clean and safe and that obsession rubbed off on his daughter.

When exactly Kokumo began to talk to animals isn't really known, though her father suspects it came from her having slight psychic abilities she inheirited from her mother (who was a witch doctor) and spending so much time as a baby in her father's lab as he kept many animals in pens for research and to help them when they became ill. Despite not sounding like he had a well paid job, Dr. Gharran did save up enough to send his daughter to a school where she could be excepted. And so she left, even though she was far older then what the school wanted, they understood Kokumo had never had a proper education and excepted her.

Personality: Kind, caring, talkative, a little shy, chatty, self concious, consderiate, easily embarrassed, hides her true feelings for the sake of others, prone to bursting out into tears on her own, obsessive about neatness, organisation and cleanliness.

Name: Syrus Evans (goes by Sky)

Age:16 almost 17

Dorm: Moonshire

Abilities: He can sence and control souls. He can see them and they listen to his thoughts and orders.

History: He grew up in an orphanage at a very young age after seeming his parents killed in an accident. He never stayed with the others at the orphanage and seemed to always be alone playing with dice usually. He was sent to the school for gifted children after the teachers caught him ordering invisable people to move his dice across the floor and actually moving them. They thought he was some sort of demon and were repulsed by him.

Personality: He is shy but very sweet when he warms up to people. He doesn't talk much but has a way of saying what he needs to say with his eyes. He is very thoughtful and always puts others first. He thinks his power is more like a case of horribly bad luck. it is creepy to know he sees the dead, even if they look only like whisps of fog, he feels cursed when he uses it and thinks others will be afraid of him if he says anything about it. The entire school seems to rumor about how creepy it is as if it is his own fault and this only makes him even more shy. All he really needs is a friend.

Name: Alistar Matthews (Ali or star)
Age: 17
Dorm: Moonshire
Abilities: Were-wolf
History: Ali was raised into a large family of were-wolves. He was taught how to control his changing and prevent himself from attacking people. One night when he was 13 hunters broke into his parents house slaughtering them in their sleep,Ali hid in a wardrobe while the sound of screaming piercing his ears. A few days later he was found by his uncle who decided to send him to St. Lewis'. After spending a few years he took a turn for the worst,During one of his changes he attacked and killed a student being unable to control the thirst for blood. He has blamed himself ever since causing him to fall into deep depressions. Nightmares haunt Ali some nights, so he hardly sleeps. He just sits and stares into space blocking everything out.

Personality: Ali is quite sweet once you break through his tough and silent shell. He is quite caring and protective over his friends. During his depressive days he tends to break away from everyone else often wanting to be alone. He can get aggressive before and after he has changed or even when his is tense or annoyed. He is silent some days not really wanting to speak unless he really has the need to.

Name: Ella Hale
Age: 13
Dorm: Moonshire
Abilities: Ella can transform into a bat like creature but when she does she needs to feed off of blood with isn't something that she likes doing.
History: Ella is the youngest of six children. Her and her older brother, Tyler are the only ones in their family with special abilities and because of it they never really felt normal. Ella grew up in a well off family that lived in Southern California. She's never been able to become close to her father because he is constantly traveling and her mother also doesn't have much time for her so she occupies most of her time by botehring her older siblings, something that she is now very good at.

Ella's parents realized she had powers when she was 2 years old. Her mother went to check on her one night and found a bat soaring around the room. Terrified, her mother called an exterminator but when he arrived all they found was Ella asleep in the once empty bed. A few months later her mother wittnessed her changing and forced Ella not to do it ever in public.

Personality: Ella is a very hyper and naturally happy child. She can occupy herself very well with the strangest things but usually spends her time by annoying someone. She enjoys getting into her brother's personal life and getting him into trouble even if he hasn't done anything. Ella is easily bribed although not many people know about it.

Age: 17
Dorm: Frostmire
Abilities: Tyler can turn something to ice by touching it.
History: Tyler grew up as a middle child in a family of six kids. He has an older brother who's 21 and an older sister that's 20. He was the third child followed by a younger brother and a younger sister. The last child in the family is the only one that has powers like him which is his sister Ella. Tyler's parents, Jacy and Peter, both had busy jobs. Peter was away for atleast 3/4 of the year, sometimes more, because he held a high position in the United States Army. His mother, Jacy, was also at work a lot. She worked as a lawyer and it shows in her always neat and organized personality.

Tyler never liked being one of the middle children in his family, for two reasons. The first one was that he was considered weird like his younger sister Ella because they both had strange abilities. Tyler's parents hated the fact that he had these abilities and forced him to promise to never use them in public. This resulted in Tyler always having the wear gloves, which wasn't so horrible as he got older because some kids at his highschool also wore gloves but they just wore them because they thought it was in style. The second reason was that his older brother was pretty much good at everything. He had the looks, did good in school and was captain of about every highschool sport. Tyler hated the fact that he would have to follow in his brother's footsteps and people often looked down on him because he wasn't as good at most things. Although he wasn't as great at many things Tyler did still have a few friends. Only one of them, a quiet girl named Katrina, knew about his powers.

Personality: Before Tyler came here he was a quiet and laidback guy. He never wanted to get in fights with anyone because of his fear that he would do something stupid and they would realize that his skin was too cold to be normal. Now that Tyler is free to be in a place where he doesn't have to hide anything he's decided that he wants to be friendlier and louder.

Age: 17
Dorm: Frostmire
Abilities: Time manipulation
History: Ethan comes from a long line of time manipulators called the Chronos clan. Their purpose is to make history stay on a bright and happy track. Ethan was a special one because he could not only slow down time like most of the clan. he could rewind, speed up or actually stop time. He is used by his parents because of his evident 'gift' and does not agree with it. He has decided to attend at St.Lewis's so that he may escape his being used for a while.
Personality: Quiet, but friendly: Ethan feels the need to be with someboy and cannot stand being alone.

Name: Alexander Hale
Age:17
Dorm: Moonshire
Abilities: Alex's ability is hard to explain. It would best be described that he has control of cosmic forces. The forces the universe its self is made of.
History: Alex was born the eldest child of two astronomers. His mother quit her job when he was born, so she could stay at home and raise the kids. He spent his life like a lot of other kids. He played, had fun, harassed his younger sibblings, and waited eagerly every day for dad to get home. Despite his father's odd work hours Alex grow up in a very loving home.

Alex's powers first manifested himself when he was eight. His father's team discovered an astroid on a collision course with earth. While his parents tried to keep it a secret, Alex eventually found out. One night he insisted his mom take him outside so he could "fix then rock." After many minutes standing in the cold night, he declared that it was all better and went inside. That evening when his dad got home, he told his wife that while they were absorving the astroid, it suddenly started to change course. Over the years it became more apparent the alex was different. He could make other thingsd and himself hover, create balls of light. He spent many years being told to hide his powers in public, while his parents studied him safe from prying eyes. When he turned seventeen, his parents told him they had just found a school for people like him. While he was sad to leave his family, was excited to go to a place where he can use his powers.
Personality: Alex is a happy guy. He walks around with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. While he's not overly social he's one of those guy people just can't help but like. He has a deep love for science, especially astronomy, and is somewhat interested in history
Appearance: Alex is tall, about 6 feet, skinny, and pale. He's skinny in partbecause he prefers to float around instead of walk. He's so pale because spends a lot of time indoors and ussually only goes out at night unless he can't avoid it. He generally wears slacks, with either a polo shirt or a plain t-shirt. He has short, blonde hair, and blue-grey eyes.
