Just the average user dropping by isn't going to be all that impressed. This is your chance, my friend! Tell us your idea, spin us a yarn. Make us sit down and feel like we have to post in this thread and here more about everything! Simply posting a few words, and then slinking away behind the shelter of your inbox or your e-mail isn't going to do anyone any good.

What about dragons? Why dragons, actually? Have you always loved them, or is this just a new fascination? What's going to happen in the story? Will it be a comedy, a tragedy, a sitcom? A situational tragedy? Who knows because you haven't posted anything!

Take as much advantage of this space as you can. Do as much of your storytelling up front because then you generate interest and excitement, and then you can trap your potential players.

And yes, I said trap.
