Re: Automatically being logged out

So I've determined that the issue is more persistent when using Firefox. Safari isn't as bad, but it still happens periodically (and randomly). But seriously, every 20-30 seconds I need to re-log when using Firefox. Tis quite frustrating. Is this a known issue? Or something unique? I'm using a Mac, ...

Re: Veganism

"Animals are mass slaughtered in a grotesque way with daily torture in their life before slaughter." - Pretty sure that doesn't apply to all or even most places meat comes from. While the above quote is worded poorly, the animals in factory farms are indeed subjected to horrible living co...

Re: Veganism

I am no vegan. I eat lots of processed meats, hamburgers, sausage, steak, whatever. I eat almost exclusively bread, meat, cheese, potato and copious amounts of sugar and salt in whatever form feels tastiest to me. I give no thought to a balanced nutritional diet, only what I feel hungry for at the ...

Re: Veganism

Their main arguments: -No animal rights -Animals are mass slaughtered in a grotesque way with daily torture in their life before slaughter. -Pigs live in their own feces. -Animals shouldnt be killed or slaughtered at all. -If humans want meat they should turn to cannibalism -Meat causes cancer, ill...

Re: [OOC] Immortal Apocalypse Part I: Lindville

Great! And may I recommend that you draft a copy of the Survival Bargain so we all know the "rules" of conduct in Lindville? I'll especially need a copy as reference when making rulings.

If you need any help with anything let me know.

Re: [OOC] Immortal Apocalypse Part I: Lindville

Once you're ready, I would like to reserve the Fallen Angel "judge" position. Let me know when you're accepting character applications and I'll send mine in :)

Re: Automatically being logged out

Well I was using Firefox when experiencing the problems. I'm trying Safari now, and so far so good, but I would really prefer to use Firefox.

If you can think of anything else, please let me know and thanks for the reply :)

Re: Corrupt a wish!

Granted, but your skin chafes raw when you first come into contact with the outdoors.

I wish that I have completed this semester of school at the top of my class.

Automatically being logged out

I am repeatedly being logged out automatically when browsing this site. It seems to be happening randomly and without mercy. Very frustrating when you write out a long post, and you lose all that information. I have resorted to copying and pasting all my posts into another document with anticipation...

Re: So a guy walks into a bar...

Welcome! I'm new here, too. Hope to see you around on the forums.

P.S: From what I've seen on the debate threads so far, they seem more or less intelligent. But I know exactly what you mean.

Re: The fruits of my English A2.

Fantastic! I studied The Goblin Marketplace and The Lady of Shalott in a first year English course that I randomly took (although had nothing to do with my degree) and thoroughly enjoyed them, but your ability to translate them, according to the literary style employed by other writers, into such gr...

Re: Sometimes...

Well, thank you all for the warm welcome.

I actually just clipped my finger with my stapler when trying to reload it with staples. The mark it left looks like a smiley face, which is fascinating because that was the emotion I was experiencing when reading your replies.

Hurray for internet haven!

Re: Gender Roles

I personally believe that conventional gender roles are outdated in many modern technological societies. Delving back into history, especially with regards to paleolithic hunter-gatherers, men were largely responsible for activities that required physical finesse such as hunting and resolving inter-...

Sometimes...

Sometimes I tire when enduring this educational and occupational pathway that seems to have been deterministically laid out before me. More often I worry that it is squandering whatever is left of my creative capacity. I have limited (about 1 month) experience Roleplaying from a few years back, but ...
