Re: Silent Hill 5: Promising or Disastrous?

I've never played any of the previous Silent Hill games, and I just recently became aware of SH5 due to E3, and thought the demo' look mighty good (or, well, mighty evil. Which is good, in this case.) It looks quite promising to me, but then I'm a newcomer, and I don't know how promising it looks c...

Re: Nighty's Art Gallery

That skull helmet is fantastic, and the basic lay-out for lighting is nice and dramatic. Do you think you could go back and alter your first post to include the picture as a file, like you did this time? Pleeeaase I wanna see it without the pixelization! You have great imagination and talent, so I'm...

Re: That's not poetry, it's art!

Another charcoal from my second-to-last semester as a fine arts student. I wasn't entirely pleased with this one. The legs didn't polish out and her body lacks any real depth. Also her shoulders. wtf happened. I'm only really happy with the hair and the hand holding it in place. http://thatsnotpoetr...

Re: Beast and his Beauties - OOC

Lol, alright. What I saw in the example posts and here is satisfactory. I trust you not to get weirded out by strange situations. x3 I see a good RP, and I can't resist joining it ^^" Like this one :3 ^_~ Awesome and thank you. Alright, I'd like to get just one or two more ladies to join! If no...

Re: Beast and his Beauties - OOC

Hello, SaveYou! Glad to see you're interested. That's quite a lovely character. I'm going to give the the run-down just like I do the others. :3 Would you mind linking/PMing me a few of what you consider to be your better/best posts? I tried to search, but you have so many posts on RPGateway, and mo...

Re: Beast and his Beauties - OOC

Oh certainly, an RPer's posts generally reflect the efforts of those around them. That's why I'm telling everyone who applies what I look for in my threads. This way, everyone's working for a similar post-level. Before the opening of the thread I'll be listing a few basic rules, like "No speed ...

Re: Final Fantasy XIII, not PS3 Exclusive

If a debate concerns itself with a perspective that you're uninterested in, it's generally rude to impose a different perspective into the debate and act like those involved should suddenly calm down because the newer perspective is unconcerned with the matters being discussed. That's why you're ge...

Re: Beast and his Beauties - OOC

Hey there, Chic14! That character pic is pretty cool. I've read over your character bio and looked at some of your posts, and must warn you that I tend to seek wordier and more descriptive RP. Do you have any examples of what you consider to be your best RP posts? For example, my posts tend to be ar...

Re: one on one RP? [OOC]

Hullo! My next semester begins next week, and I'll be resorting largely to one-on-one AIM RP, myself. I'd love to seek you out there!

Re: Silent Hill 5: Promising or Disastrous?

I liked that Pyramid Head was in the movie, but he could've had more of a purpose, y'know? He was just there for no apparent reason whatsoever. They put him in because they knew if they did, more people would watch the movie. And alright i will, though i don't believe they will be making any more chan...

Re: Debate

Again, if a sex scene is well-written, it's driving the story. It's fleshing out (no pun intended!) the characters, a very important part of storyline progression. However, when two users are going back and forth for their own enjoyment, that shouldn't be part of the public storyline - take it away...

Re: Silent Hill 5: Promising or Disastrous?

I heard Team Silent was helping Double Helix a bit, but still, its not gonna be like the first 3(dunno about 4, ive played all except 4.)I loved how the story was so interconnected between 1 and 3.I had the psp version of Origins. It didn't have AS MANY as the ps2 version, but it had its fair share....

Re: Debate

If it isn't driving the storyline, it doesn't need to be in the roleplay. Period . I would think that whatever does or doesn't need to be contained in RP is up to the preferences of those involved, really. How can anyone decide for someone else what needs to exist for someone else's RP enjoyment? I...

Re: The end is near

Well, they already have created a couple black holes, so I'm hopeful that they have a pretty good hang of it. God willing. I'm not looking to die quite yet. Have you run into many people who are even aware of the goings-on in Geneva? I only knew like 5 people who were aware, before I started tellin...

Re: The end is near

I hate Stephen Colbert. xD good thing my post wasn't about him, then, eh? (In Venture Brothers he does the voice of a character obsessed with science.) But in so far as the LHC is concerned, they were going to start testing it this month, weren't they? I don't know if they have a date for actually ...

Re: Do you Believe in ghosts?

What's hilarious is I don't believe in ghosts or anything of the unreal sort, and yet I still get spooked by moving shadows and weird noises in the night. Maybe if my dad hadn't started me on a healthy diet of horror movies from the age of five, I wouldn't have stupid little fears left over. But th...

Re: The end is near

Sailing across the flat world only endangered the ships crew, not the existence of the world. Truth! Exactly why I said: "...because people took that last leap into the unknown, throwing caution to the wind." Didn't say the extent of the danger. x3 This one? Eeeehhh a bit bigger than say ...

Re: The end is near

See, I'm fascinated by science, but at the same time I'm like, "WHATHEFUCK!?!?! CAN'T YOU PEOPLE LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE?" I mean, for every good discovery, we learn another way to be bastards, another way to destroy the world. I mean look at the fucking A-Bomb fer chrissakes. Who knows w...
