"Modern day" "Another World" Interest check!

Hello checking to see if anyone is interested in a modern day, another world roleplay.

This roleplay will be about everyone having their own plot and goals. But the main theme is "NO PLACE LIKE HOME", however
you may interpret this saying.

We are all to be thrown into this fantastical world. Yes there is civilization and yes there is magic and odd creatures.
Technology does exist but only a couple of countries.

So basically everyone is thrown somewhere different or near proximity of eachother, in the end of the first post we must
all gather at a pub at the city of Glenhaven. We must all know eachother's goals clearly. We will be partying up to help
one another with our goals whatever they may be, ofcourse there can be tension in the group. It's not always La-dee-da all
the time.

Please this is an action and adventure roleplay with orignal characters, romance only if you want to.

What do you mean by "Technology does exist but only a couple of countries?" There are different levels of technology from a simple knife and fork to siege weapons to computers and androids. I was just sort of wondering what levels of tech were widely available and what it was that just happened to commonly appear in those countries.

Basically the world is not too technical. Technology is nothing like androids, but it's more of what we have right now today. Except the other world's a bit different.

How exactly does magic work? Mana, stones, runes or items?

I'm not exactly sure...We can all come to a consensus together on how we want the magic to work. It would be interesting to see them working by mana stones or something. And then there are fantastical creatures and land, etc.


How many intelligent species are there?? i mean in this world do only humans build cities?

Species...well I guess anything humanoid will work. If you want a pet wolf as a comrade or something that works too...


Did we wake up into this world or simply when I stepped of the bus and blinked I wasn’t on earth anymore?

It's basically situation 2, where you are doing your normal things when suddenly you are brought to another world. Through a portal or something.


Items: did we enter this terra world with all our items or did we leave them behind or did they transform?

Yes you enter Terra with all your items, such as if you had a backpack or a work bag, or last night's dinner packed with you, etc.


What’s the currency in this world?

I think the currency of Terra is gold.
