New Year's Resolutions?

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Kaytayy Emm on Sat Jan 01, 2011 1:59 pm

Okay, so most of us have one, since it's really not quite a bad thing to have. Here are mine:

~Eat healthier. I know, I know, this seems to be everyone's solution, but it's quite a smart one.
~Learn how to cook. I (pretty much) know how to bake, and my dad's a chef, so hopefully I'll turn out to be a decent cook. :)
~Practice my violin/clarinet/alto sax/learn guitar. I don't practice enough haha.
~Get all A's on my report cards for the rest of the year.
~Help my parents more with the house and stop being so lazy. XD
~Stop procrastinating.

So, yeah. I think that's most of mine. :) Not too many, but they're not dumb either haha. :)

Also, if you don't keep a New Year's Resolutions, why don't you?

Pros/Cons of Resolutions?

Do you follow through with your Resolutions, or do you just make them up and forget about them? XD

My resolutions are:
-Pass all classes.
-Get accepted into the Disney College Program (Disney World)
-Graduate with an associates.
-Be employed.
-Move out of my city.

I sometimes follow them but I usually do not make a resolution(s).I set goals however. To me a goal can be set at anytime and can be any term of time. Graduate law school in a couple of years is an example of a long term goal or save up for Call of Duty Black Ops is an example of a short term goal. A resolution is something you want to change but a goal cannot really change you.

My New Years resolution was to not make a New Years resolution, that way, I wouldn't end up dissapointing myself.
...But I made a New Years resolution.
Damn. I can't do anything right.
