So it boggles my mind, but there are apparently some players in a roleplay that don't read posts that don't involve their character. The ostensible reason is because they don't want to mix up OOC knowledge with IC knowledge.
Personally? I find that to be a weak excuse.
Like is this the norm and I'm just a weirdo for reading posts that don't even involve my character? Or are they the weird/lazy ones?
Please let me know your thoughts about this.

While I read every post I used to wonder the same thing. Another site i played on had someone like that. After a little while we convinced them to read everything and it did lead to little changes, like their character changing their mind on a few topics with no reason and such. They stuck with it and were glad that they did once they learned how to pay attention to that sort of metagaming.
