One-on-one... Anyone?

Hey! I'm looking for a literate, creative and skilled RPer who is capable of creating varied, in depth characters and isn't afraid to take the initiative with regards to plot. An RP is a collaborative process and I don't want to be have to be dragging the plot along purely by myself.

As for setting and plot, I'm easy. Anything except fantasy as long as it's reasonably original or has a new spin to it that makes it interesting. Feel free to suggest anything you've been dying to RP and if you've nothing particular in mind, we can come up with something mutually.

Would you like to do... mechs? I've been scouring Gaia, here, and RPGForumsOnline for a mech RP to join. I think I'm desperate enough to try a 1x1; in hindsight, it might even be better, given the speed and flow of a well-planned 1x1.
