Okay, this is based what happens after a game I've played, but I'll try to make this so that you don't have to have played the game to roleplay in this...
Once upon a time eight heroes fought the evil Overlord and killed him, but the seven heroes betrayed the eighth hero and left him for dead. Under the Minion Master, Gnarl, the Minions, adorable creatures that do the Overlord's bidding such as pillaging and murder, resurrected heroe, making him the new Overlord!!!!
Swiftly, the new Overlord gathered together the lost Minion tribes, rebuilt the Overlor'd Tower, the center of his Evil Domain, recovered the Tower's spells and objects, and spread his Evil Domain across the land. With his legions of Minions, he conquered, pillaged, and wreaked revenge on his former friends as well as taking a Mistress. When the old Overlord attempted to take back his title, using the body of a Wizard, the Overlord smote him down.
One, however, cannot be a bastion of evil these days without wretched, so-called heroes to challenge him. They treacherously made a surprise attack on him in his tower, killing him, his Mistress, and many poor, innocent Minions. However, the Overlord had a son. Evil always finds a way and soon, the land will quake in fear of its new Overlord!!!
Rules
1. No god-modding.

4. No one-liners!
Minions
Minions in general-All Minions are small creatures, tall enough to reach a mans' waist. Their size does not make them any less dangerous though! They can be summoned at Minion pits that appear near Tower Gates and other, random places. Minions are born of lifeforce the Overlord and his minions "gather" from freshly killed things.
Brown Minions- The Melee fighters. When first spawned, they have simple clubs and loin-cloths for decency. However, they will quickly equip themselves with useful items.... And quite a few (sigh) useless items too.
Red Minions- The loyal archers, err-flamers. They are immune to fire and can shoot it out of the palm of their hands. Will equip light armor if given the chance.
Green Minions- Quiet, if smelly, assassins. They tend to sneak behind enemies and attack them from behind climbing or jumping on their backs and using their sharp, long claws as knives. Will equip light armor.
Blue Minions- Minions who have the ability to resurrect fallen Minions, and possibly the Overlord himself with sufficient power and numbers. These Minions are the only ones that can swim and fight magical creatures such as ghosts.
The Overlord's Tower
The Throne Room- Where the Overlord can just sit and, uh, practice his evil smirk or laugh? It contains one important object, a magical pool of water that can be used to teleport the Ovelord to Tower Gates (big platforms with runes on them, usually surrounded by a stone henge and minion pits) and more minor gates elsewhere that activate in the presence of the Overlord.
The Minion Pit- The dwelling place of the Minions when they're not doinge evil deeds. Contains the Tower Heart which powers the entire Tower
The Dungeon- The quarters for the Overlor'ds honored guests. Also contains an arena for amusement.
The Forges- The place where the Overlord's armor and weapons armor made and imbued with willing Minions who gladly throw themselves in the fire for their Overlord.
The Ovelord's Personal Quarters- Where the Overlord spends his down-time. May contain a torture chamber, garden, and maybe a Mistress or two.
Realms
Spree- Dwelling place of human farms as well as the human village of Spree, its namesake, and the ruins of Castle Spree. Along with humans, it contains fat suckling pigs! I mean... dirty little halflings!
Heaven's Peak- A castle-like human city filled with debauchery and and violence! It gives hope for humans everywhere...
Evernight Forest- A dark, magical forest, dwelled in by filthy elves!!!
Golden Hills- Place where greedy dwarves dwell, digging for gold.
