Welcome! I highly doubt that most people actually picked up role-playing on an actual role-playing forum. It seems everyone I've spoken with started out somewhere that did it on the side. It was on a Pokemon website where I got my start. Beforehand, I wasn't even much of writer, but like most things, that changed. In my opinion, it is extremely important that you explore the site a bit and hopefully come to understand how things operate; nonetheless, please be sure to check out the rules at the very top of the page, directly below the banner and to the right. As for the rest, I'm sure Sage would be more than happy to assist you! But, if you just can't seem to find the answer you are looking for, the main forum has a topic in the main lobby titled help. You should be able to find guides and other information there as well as have the option to post a topic yourself with any questions you might have.

Other options include getting a hold of a Moderator in green, like myself. You must accrue ten posts on the forums in order to send a private message, so, you are free to check out chat or contact us via other relevant contact information provided on a few of our profile pages (mine included). Or, you can do what I noticed Sage did, and just hit up the games forum until you reach the requirement. I hope you enjoy your stay and reach out if you ever need anything. Enjoy!

I tend to keep tabs on this forum when I am awake, especially thanks to having it set up so that I get instant notifications of any sort of activity. If you click the chat at the top of the page, it will open up some sort of selection where you can choose which role-play. If I remember correctly, the Multiverse is on there by default. Click on that. All chats are connected to the same OOC (out of character). So, regardless of which role-play you are in, the general discussion will be uniform. The only catch is, you will only see the users logged into that particular role-play. Generally, everyone just goes to the Multiverse. What is unique is the IC (in character) chat room. That is different and specific to each role-play.

If the Multiverse happens to not be there, feel free to just make a quick character to gain access.
