So I think a roleplay based in the PUSH universe would be fun. If enough interest develops and I start it up, I'd definitely allow canon and original characters and I'd follow the lore as closely as I could. While I've never read the comics, I'd use the wikia site as a reference. I'll probably end up taking some liberties but only in regards to things that have never been addressed, and I'd encourage others to do the same if need be.
So first off, I want literate people only, please. Meaning you have a good grasp of the English language and you can make one post without anymore than 3 SPELLING errors. Proper grammar is a little harder. I get that. But there's no reason, this day in age, that a post anywhere should have more than just a few misspelled words. Plus, this is forum based roleplaying. Posts should be in depth and you should take your time with them.
As for the rp, itself: I want to set it in New York, Detroit, or some other giant metropolis setting like that and I want to theme as kind of a crime drama where we have main characters from all walks of life. The mob hitman, a gang leader, the con man, and even the detective. There will, of course, be the ever-present danger of the Division. This threat will be even greater in this setting since we'll be in the US and thus, within their jurisdiction. While you noticed that the Division agents in the first one only tried to take psychics from Hong Kong when the main character, Kira. Before that, they weren't going to take Nick or Cassie. That won't be the case in the US, where the CIA/FBI has authority.
As for the characters themselves, I want realism. I want gritty, maybe dark scenarios and pasts. People with their own secrets and in depth stories that help set them up for deep relationships with other players later on. I want love and loss, murder and life risking, soul crushing shame and the occasional hopeful turn of events. I think this has a chance to be a good roleplay with the right people. Please reply here if you agree.
