Question about Graphics in the RP Tab

Hey there. I'm creating my first Roleplay here at RPG and I want to put a few images on the Introductions part of the Roleplay Tab. My main question is what is a good width for a large graphic so that it won't stretch the page, but be big enough for people to make out whats on it? I want to combine several smaller images into one larger one, so it needs to be pretty big, but since I haven't made an RP before here, I don't know if the page will even stretch at all or if it will just be covered up by the right side of the website.
